Jason's Gallery - Prayers for a Princess: A Carrie Fisher Tribute

I know I did say I am on a short break, but I stop by to drop this off because Shinigami has ripped out my childhood and stump that sucker flat. I forgot to mention that the other reason why I am not posting much is because of the fact that 2016 has become Death's favorite year with all the deaths of those who are actors, musicians, heroes and so forth. And this one death is more painful than all the rest. Here is my thoughts on the death of one, the only, Carrie Fisher.

(Taken from Deviantart)

It seems that 2016 has become much sadder and heartbreaking than last year when it comes to the death of famous people, when Shinigami (aka Death) comes for their souls and rip our childhood and nostalgia into two. From Gene Wilder to Prince, David Bowie, John Glenn, Susan Aceron (Why do voice actors get left out of the obituaries and tributes, I'll never know), Alan Thicke, and George Michael. But, no death is more painful and heartbreaking than the lost of Princess Leia herself, Carrie Fisher.

The daughter of singer Eddie Fisher and actress Debbie Reynolds, Carrie Fisher was born in Hollywood royalty, figuratively and quite literally. Even though she appeared in other movies like Shampoo (her movie debut), The Blues Brothers and When Harry Met Sally, and later in life became a best-selling author, with such books as her latest and last one, The Princess Diarist, Carrie was forever immortalized as the very character from the Star Wars series, Princess Leia Organa. From wearing cinnamon buns for hair to wearing the slave girl outfit in Return of the Jedi, Leia was no mere damsel in distress. This was one princess you don't want to mess with (Tell that to Jabba the Hutt). But, even though she wanted to go do bigger and better things (being an author is one of them), she couldn't get away from being Princess Leia, for she did reprise her role for The Force Awakens. And although the shooting of Episode VIII was complete, Episode IX is up in the air because of what happened.

Just like Alan Thicke and George Michael, she died of a heart attack and no amount of Bayer aspirin (and lots of praying) couldn't save her. So the next time you see a ticker that reads "Stable Condition" in quotation marks, that's the doctor's way of saying "Critical, but stable." But, was she more critical than stable, or more stable than critical when she had her heart attack? Can't they make up their minds which condition they want her most?! She leaves behind not only her legacy, but also her own child, Billie Lourd.

Losing Carrie Fisher is like losing a part of my childhood. And the sands in hourglass is still pouring out because I am missing out. And the more people I want to meet die, the more time lost for me and my dreams and goals will all be in vain.

Anyway, my fanart is tribute and prayer to a princess who is lost to us, because the God of Death wants good people to suffer while the bad ones get away scot-free. And if you are wondering why Leia has bangs around her buns, it is because she had bangs in the Star Wars manga (no joke, she really had bangs in the manga). And as I pray for her passage to the afterlife, Lightsaber at hand, my seashell cross, which I usually wear around my neck, is on my arm, as I pray. I take death and prayers very seriously, but the latter doesn't always work (mostly it does work, but not always).

Let's just hope and pray that 2017 doesn't end up like 2016. I don't want Shinigami taking anymore lives like that and make 60 years old the new 90, even those who are still young.

Godspeed, Carrie Fisher, and May the Force be with you.

Dwelling in the Crossroads about Friendship! The Rekka Dragon takes a short break until after New Year's!

Hey there, Toonsters.

Sorry, I haven't post so much this month. I was going to a difficult phase right now. Let's just say I am dwelling in the crossroads when it comes to friendship. Ever since I have since The Flash episode, Killer Frost, I haven't been the same, especially questioning friendship as a whole. Seeing Cisco wanting to threaten Barry with physical violence after Barry messing up the space/time continuum, causing his brother, Dante, to die in the new timeline, breaks my heart, especially their friendship is falling apart. After watching it and seeing their friendship slowly implode, made me think about a few things.

For instance, when Henry "Tirek" Schleiff destroyed the Hub and replaced it with Discovery Family and using the brony fanbase as bargaining chips for their edutainment nonsense, I feel that they are buying up friendship like stock. It's like I have gotten nothing after learning about friendship from the ponies. It is like I felt betrayed by the very ponies I trusted. Since that time, I have learned the hard way that friendship is NOT always magic.

Then, after think back on both scenarios, I think to myself, would it happen to my friends if I did something stupid and brazen that would end our friendship on the spot? Just like that.

So, because of this, I have decided to take a short break, at least until after New Year's. This does not mean it's the end of the ACF. Until I get back, Stefan will run things. I know he will do a good job. Like he said, I can't do this alone. I need all the help I can get. And that's what friendship is all about. So until then, stay frosty, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas

Wanna wish Everyone,Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

See Ya,Space Cowboys in 2017!

Toon Ninja Reviews - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Final Part - The Conclusion (ft. Ryo of the Wildfire)

Talk about a close shave, Ryo.

Ryo: Tell me about it. Jadeite is no joke. But, I'll get him next time. Him and his master.

Yeah, with all of this aside, I think it's time to finish up this review. I am exhausted.

Ryo: Knock youself out, Jay.

*White Blaze nods*

Aside from some bad episodes, a subplot left open (at least until you read the graphic novel), and not to mention that poor excuse of an adaptation, Avatar: The Last Airbender is no doubt one of the best action cartoons in all of animation. With its strong voice cast, old and new, strong mythology, awesome action, soothing and powerful music and a storyline that transcends generations, this is one cartoon that is considered to be legendary. So legendary, Mike & Bryan decided to do the sequel series, The Legend of Korra, which continues the Avatar story, but with the focus on its main hero, Korra and her version of Team Avatar. The show had so much promise and potential, unfortunately, leave to the real life villains, known as corrupt corporate executives, to do some executive meddling and screw this show over, especially making it web based for the time being and all that. But that story is for another time. Bottom line, if it's action you seek, along with drama, philosophy, comedy and so forth, Avatar: The Last Airbender is the show for you. Stay Flamey-O, my friends!

Wow-wee, what a long review. I haven't done such a longer blogging session since my Sailor Moon Retrospective.

Ryo: Yeah, that is exausting.

*Jason chuckles*

Ryo: So, what you doing now?

Well, I am going to take a break from the reviewing and focus on my writing and movie making. It may be long but all the work I do, will be well-rewarded. You see, I am doing a crossover story with you, Sailor Moon and most of the cast of the Dead or Alive series, including one subplot involving you and your romance with the runaway shinobi, Kasumi.

Ryo: Wow! Sounds great. Sounds promising. Let me know when it is done.

Believe me, it will be as epic and sweet like the Aang/Katara relationship. Trust me.

Ryo: I know it will.

*Ryo smiles*

*Jason smiles back*

Ryo: Well, I gotta get going now.

Where are you going, Ryo?

Ryo: To see if I can find the ninja clan my father originated from.

Wow, that's a big mystery there.

Ryo: Indeed. You stay out of trouble, okay?

I will Ryo. You too, White Blaze.

*White Blaze purrs and nods*

*Ryo nods and walks off; White Blaze follows Ryo*

*Jason waves goodbye to Ryo and White Blaze*

Later...

*Jason dreams of a Ryo/Kasumi relationship, ala the final scene from of Sozin's Comet: Avatar Aang*

(The Avatar's Love plays)

*Ryo, in his subarmor, stands at a nearby cliff, afar from the hidden village of the Mugen Tenshin at sunset. Kasumi, in her white and pink ninja outfit, comes out and stands next to Ryo. Ryo and Kasumi looks at each other and Kasumi blushes while Ryo smiles back at her. Ryo and Kasumi hugged each other after all the suffering they have both been through. Then, as they looked at the sunset, they turned to each other, and then, without any hesitation, she passionately kisses Ryo. As Ryo and Kasumi rebraced passionately, the cherry blossoms fly around them.

*Pans towards Ryo and Kasumi, into the sky*

終: THE END

Jason's Gallery - Lynn Minmei: Pop Superstar!

Here we have an image of the famed pop princess of the stars from Robotech (or if you are into the original Macross), Lynn Minmei! And contrary to what some people say about her, especially in her role in the love triangle between her, Rick Hunter and Lisa Hayes, I always find Minmei cute and fun to see, especially her singing. Her singing does sound like bells ringing. GET IT!

Anyway, here's to Minmei, who helped bring the Zentradi to their knees and the person who voiced her.

Happy Birthday, Rebecca Forstadt aka Reba West!

Jason's Gallery - A Liger and a Bat! Two Birthday Fanarts for the Price of One!

Presenting to you, my fanart for two of my favorite people, whose birthday is on the same day, November 30th! Here goes!

First off, my design for a possible t-shirt featuring one of the greatest Japanese wrestlers of all time, Jushin "Thunder" Liger, whose courage outside the ring, fighting against a brain tumor and won, made him not just a legend in the ring, but also a legend outside of it. Any man who had his tumor removed from his brain and lived to tell about it, is considered the most mightiest wrestler of them all. BANZAI, LIGER-SAMA!!

Next up, here we have our favorite masked hero, Batman, in a silent vigil, continues to watch over the denizens of Gotham City, preparing to strike any criminal who causes harm against them. This fanart was made in honor of the very person who gave the Dark Knight his voice and been voicing him since 1992. This one is for you, Kevin Conroy! You truly the vengeance and the night that is Batman.

Happy Birthday to both the Beast God of Wrestling and to the World's Greatest Detective! Stay frosty, my friends!

Jason's Gallery - Wonder Woman: Superfriends Style!

My first attempted fanart of Wonder Woman in the style of the Superfriends. It may not be perfect, but at least I did put up much effort, especially around her hairstyle. Other than that, I did a decent job in drawing this, especially when celebrating the birth of the original voice of our favorite Amazonian hero in the Superfriends cartoons. By the great goddess, Hera, I wish Ms. Shannon Farnon a very wondrous birthday. May Hera herself watch you always!

Jason's Gallery - The Two Faces of Caitlin Snow!

Here we have the two personas of one Caitlin Snow from The Flash. On one end, she was the sweet, kind-hearted scientist who is a good friend to Barry Allen and the others, including Cisco Ramon. On the another end, we see her other self, the mean-spirited, borderline psychotic frosty temptress, Killer Frost, who, hence her name, is downright dangerous with her icy powers. Talk about being the anti-Elsa. Caitlin Snow is one of the most complex characters in all the Arrowverse, next to Quentin Lance. She started off as one of The Flash's closest friends and allies. But, by the time the winter finale of season 3 comes, the sweet, kind-hearted scientist will cease to exist...

Only Killer Frost remains!

(I blame Barry for screwing up history, resulting in Flashpoint. But that's another story.)

Jason's Gallery - Protoman: Standing Proud!

Here we have Protoman, Megaman's mysterious and elusive brother, standing proud, reading and willing to fight against Dr. Wily's evil forces. This fanart was made in response in the fact that I have gotten Protoman in Megaman Powered Up after going through 100 challenges in Challenge Mode. First time around, I got him by downloading him, by hook and by crook. But now, after starting the game over, I got him, the right way. As He-Man once said, "The Right Way, is the Best Way." And getting Protoman the right way through Challenge Mode, is truly the right way. I wouldn't call myself a gamer if I didn't do it right. Now, I truly am one.

Jason's Gallery - Anime Jason and She-Ra (Happy Birthday, Melendy Britt!)

This fanart represents not only the fact that She-Ra is my favorite fictional aunt, next to Elsa and Jem, but also celebrates the birth of the very person who brought life to the Princess of Power herself, and her birthday is, believe it or not, on Halloween of all days. I am, of course, referring to the one, the only, Melendy Britt.

Happy Birthday to my favorite fictional aunt, who has given me a lot of strength and courage to do the things I like to do, especially loving and respecting other female characters. For the Honor of Grayskull, thanks for the memories, Ms. Britt. Like I said, there wouldn't be a Sailor Moon, if it wasn't for She-Ra!

Happy Birthday, Melendy Britt!

Jason's Gallery - More Halloween Fanart!

Here is more of my Halloween fanart. I know you will like them!

Here we have our favorite red-headed mermaid, Ariel, as one of my other favorite heroes, The Rocketeer! I wonder how good she is flying, just as she is with swimming? Who knows?

Here we have Kourin no Seiji (Sage of the Halo) and Makoto Kino (Sailor Jupiter) as Afro and Okiku aka Otsuru from Afro Samurai. This was based on the crossover idea I had in mind, where the Sailor Senshi, Ronin Warriors and Dark Warlords were kidnapped and placed in a devices that makes their dreams so lifelike and this part of Sage and Mako-chan as Afro and Otsuru was one of them. But, there is one difference between the two couples. While Afro's relationship with Otsuru ended in tragedy, Sage's relationship with Mako-chan will last longer than theirs. And with their roles as Ronin Warrior and Sailor Senshi respectively, it will be a bit longer than that.

And there you have it. I hope you enjoyed my Halloween fanart. And I hope next Halloween will be much more better! Happy Halloween, toonsters!

More Show Ideas

Note: The following is an unfinished post that I ompletely forgot about. So this Will be my Absolute Final Post!

More original show ideas for my potential TV network. I need many many fresh new shows for this network in order to make it a success. Variaty Is The Splice Of Life!

I will be covering both Live-Action and Animation. And,of course,No Reality Shows!
=========================================================
Live Action:

Super Human Fighter Taskforce Ultimaranger - My very own Super Sentai. An evil alien and his terrorist group head to Earth to find the lost Royals of Altar, who were sent to earth as babies to be saved from the terrorist group. If these children ever grew up and discovered their hidden powers,it would mean the end for them if all 7 ever fought them together. They start their search by the harrassing innocent people of Los Diablos,a clean and peaceful city.

An old intergalactic wizard, being kept alive in a rejuvination tank (like the terror leader),has a team of henshin heroes created. he recruits 6 youths to become Ultimaranger and stop the terrorist group.

As as usual once the monsters defeated it'll grow and the Rangers use their Zords to destroy them.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Daikaiju Wars - Giant Monsters battle for supremacy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jesus - Jesus Christ, tired of mans fetish for violence and chaos, comes back to Earth with a new job, keeping the peace as a negotiator. He has talks with all sorts parties. And if they don't stick with the deal that was made,Jesus has his vengeance.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
World Championship Arm Wrestling (beta name) - An Arm Wrestling show.
===========================================================
Animation:

Virtua-Monsters (bata name) - Monsters like pokemon and digimon, but when evolved, never changes the name only adds the level number after it. Plus they originate from Virtual Reality. Story Coming Soon!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pretty Soldier 5 - Demons have risen and are terrorising Earth. To stop them,a puppy with mystic abilities chooses 5 teenage girls to become The Pretty Soldiers, henshin heroines of Justice and truth.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Galactic Fighter 2095 (beta name) - In 2095,2 Earthling Martial Artists seek out fighters from other worlds to perfect their skills and become stronger. An great space adventure awaits them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cartoon Enforcer (beta name) - A Teenager is pulled into a Universe, where Carton Characters are real. She is recruited by (fictional) Cartoon heroes to help save the Universe from evil. Basically this show is Captain N,but with cartoons instead of video games.

And so,all of my loose ends are finally complete.

See Ya In 2017 on RetroTalk.

Jason's Gallery - Halloween Collection!

Hey there, Toonsters and Moonies alike!

Since Halloween is just around the corner, I want to share with you some of my halloween themed cosplay fanart with your favorite characters, mostly with Sailor Moon and Ronin Warriors. It ain't much but I will grow when it catches my interest again. So, here goes.

Here we have Ms. Minako Aino as our favorite witch/housewife, Samantha Stephens from the hit TV show, Bewitched, played brilliantly by Elizabeth Montgomery. If you are wondering why Sam's eyes are all spiraled out, that's how she was in animated form from either the intro to Bewitched or in her guest appearance in an episode of The Flintstones. I'll let you be the judge on this one. Moving on.

Here we have Ms. Usagi Tsukino as Marvel's tiniest superheroine, Janet van Dyne aka The Wasp. So, what does Sailor Moon and the Wasp have in common? Both were voiced by none other than Sailor Moon's third English voice, Linda Ballantyne. Even though Ms. Ballantyne voiced Wasp in the first Avengers cartoon, Avengers: United We Stand, the costume Usagi is wearing is straight up from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. And as an added bonus, I added Luna to the mix, complete with wings of an angel. Besides, whenever Sailor Moon goes, Luna will always be by her side. And finally...

Here we have Mamoru Chiba (Tuxedo Mask) and Ryo Sanada aka Rekka no Ryo (Ryo of the Wildfire) as masked crimefighters, The Green Hornet and Kato. One of many visions of both Tuxedo Mask and Ryo as not just partners and friends, but also brothers. More accurately, Shon-di (Cantonese for Brothers). Since Tux does nothing but throws roses and fights with canes (even though he has his Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber now), Ryo is the more active of the duo, just like Kato himself and not to mention the man who played him, the late, great martial arts legend, Bruce Lee. If there was a crossover special of sorts, we want to see more of Tuxedo Mask and Ryo together. Until then, fanart is the only way to go. By the way...

The Green Hornet sends his regards!

That is all for now. But, I will post my next Halloween themed fanart before Halloween comes on my next post. And believe me, I got a lot of ground to cover in this one. Until then, stay frosty and Happy Halloween.

Jason's Gallery - Losing a Friend: A Susan Aceron Tribute

"As she clings on to the Garnet Orb, Sailor Chibimoon has come to the realization that her oldest and dearest friend is no longer with us. Losing Sailor Pluto is like losing a part of yourself and it is one pain she can't overcome. However, she knows that even she is no longer among the living, her spirit will forever be by her side. Who knows? Perhaps, one day, she will return and see Chibiusa again. But as long as she holds on to the Garnet Orb, Sailor Pluto will never truly be gone."

Thanks for all the memories, Ms. Aceron. Godspeed.

Time Has Stopped! In Memory of Susan Aceron

This just in, and it's a heartbreaker to all you moonies out there, which is more heartbreaking than the death of Kirsten Bishop.

Susan Aceron Gray, the second voice of Sailor Pluto from the original Sailor Moon english dub, has died on October 9th, 2016 after a long bout with nasopharyngeal cancer. She was 44 years old. Although she did some other animes, Aceron was best known as the voice of Sailor Pluto in the Cloverway dub. As bad as the dub was, editing wise, her voice for the senshi of time and space was elegant at best.

Here's to you, Ms. Aceron. May your elegance last for all eternity. Godspeed.

Jason's Gallery - Between the Heavens and the Sea

"As I look above the heavens, the only thing that I have in mind that is more important in the world, is seeing Ariel again. Although born in the sea, her voice was like a gift from God. And as I look on, would I ever get to hear her voice again someday?"

This fanart was inspired by the iconic ending from the Simpsons episode, "Mother Simpson." Except for one difference, it is one of many fanarts that represent my dream of meeting Jodi Benson. It's been 10 years since my quest began and it is still ongoing. Let's keep hoping.

Happy Birthday, Jodi Benson! May your voice warm my heart always.

Toon Ninja Reviews - Avatar: The Last Airbender Part V: The Good, The Bad and the M. Night Shyamalan (WHAT A TWIST!) - featuring Ryo of the Wildfire and Jadeite

As Jason, Ryo and White Blaze stand ready for battle, Jadeite hovers above them, gloating as he is ready to attack.

*Jadeite laughs maniacally*

Jadeite: You got nothing left, you fools! Once I am done with you, your energies will be drained, enough for the great ruler, Queen Metallia, to be revived. My master, Talpa, will be very pleased!

Ryo: Talpa, it figures!

Jadeite: Now, time to face oblivion!

Whoa! Hold on a second there, Jadeite.

*Jadeite halts his attack*

Don't we get a request?

*Ryo nods in agreement; Jadeite stops for a moment to think*

Jadeite: Why not?  What do you have in mind?

Well, since I am doing a review on Avatar: The Last Airbender, why don't you join in and help us out.

Jadeite: So be it. Once it is done, I will destroy you.

Fair enough.

Jadeite: What do you have in mind?

Well, since I already covered most of the story, animation, music and so forth, we will talk about the good and bad aspects of the show and everything in between.

Jadeite: Very well, then. I have not watch this show for some time, but I do have one gripe with this show.

And what's that?

Jadeite: There is this one episode, that most Avatar fans want to forget and that is chapter 11 from Book One called The Great Divide.

Oh yeah, that.

Jadeite: This episode, is by far the worst episode in the series. It is about two Earth Kingdom tribes, who don't get along and have been doing it for centuries, especially on how to cross the divide itself. So much so, it almost split Team Avatar apart. I won't quite spoil it for you, but let's just say the ending doesn't make such sense. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! *clears throat* Sorry. What about you, mortal, any thoughts on the whole matter?

Well, I got a lot to say, but my reasons are different from yours and Ryo's. Speaking of which, how bout you, Ryo.

Ryo: Well, I do agree that the Great Divide is the worst episode in Avatar, aside from some other noticeable candidates such as lesser bad episodes like Nightmares and Daydreams and The Ember Island Players, most of Avatar is awesome in many ways with its action, animation, music, story, character development, and so on and so forth. So in a way, I got no ill will towards this show, other than its few hiccups.

Well, you guys got valid points on the show. Although it's an awesome show and it does have a few flaw and a couple of bad apples off the tree, but those pale in comparison to the one thing that was a stain in the an otherwise great show. So, come around in a circle and I will tell you this dark story.

*Lights turn off; Jason turns on flashlight in front of his face when telling the story.*

*Deepens voice to a dark tone* It all began with a man named Shyamalan, M. Night Shyamalan, that is.  Around the summer of 2010, Shyamalan, who directed movies like Signs and The Sixth Sense (and yes, I see dead people), was given the task to do a live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. But, all he did was took liberties with the show and made it a completely different vision of what the show is. For instance, the movie was short, real short, the first book cramped into one movie, without including parts with Jet and the Kyoshi Warriors. Second of all, the characters were miscast. The actors who played the characters were nothing like how they were in the cartoon. Not just physically, but also psychologically. For instance, Aang was suppose to be Asian and suppose to be fun and easy going, not all serious and always down. Sokka and Katara were suppose to be tanned skinned like the actual Inuit natives, not white, and not to mention that Katara was suppose to be the strongest character in the show. But instead, she was portrayed in the movie as a wimp. And you know what is the worst part of the movie, other than the cruddy CGI?

*Jadeite and Ryo shake their heads "No"*

It is the fact that three of the characters names were pronounced wrong. In the movie, Aang was pronounced as "Oong", Sokka was pronounced, "Soak-ka" and Zuko's uncle, Iroh was pronounced "E-row". Shayamalan claimed that these names were how they were pronounced. But contrary to what he has claimed, the Avatar fans would claim otherwise. So the way I see, The Last Airbender was nothing more than a facsimile to the cartoon itself. It is dull, the CGI was terrible, the characters portrayals were messed up and Shayamalan's direction has made it as scary than all the execs combined. And by the time you walk out of watching this movie, you will end up, like THIS!

*Jason alters face to make it scary and shrieks; Jadeite and Ryo jumps up a bit after being scared*

*clears throat; speaking normal* And that is why The Last Airbender was the worst cartoon adaptation in all of cinema, next to the recent live action version of Jem and the Holograms.

Ryo: Right on!

Jadeite: I agree with you.

*White Blaze nods*

Jadeite: Well, now that this little camaraderie has ended, time for some unfinished business.

*Jadeite prepares to attack*

*White Blaze roars*

Ryo: Will see about that!

*Ryo puts his swords together by their handles and prepares his surekill*

Ryo: FLARE UP NOW!!

*Ryo swings his charged up swords at Jadeite*

Jadeite, feeling nervous: Perhaps, another time, then.

*Jadeite teleports out of there before the flash from Ryo's attack hits him*

Wow! Talk about making a quick getaway.

Ryo: Tell me about it.

To Be Concluded....

Iron Will as Mr. T (plus hashtags)!

I know Stefan told me no ponies. But this is all about Iron Will, who is Hulk Hogan, Mr. T and Mr. Satan aka Hercule rolled into one, in this parody version of the classic NBC "The More You Know" PSA, featuring Mr. T himself, who doesn't want to say his catchphrase, "I Pity the Fool" anymore, but does it anyway. And this parody video pays homage to it. And that's not all. This is my response to Litton Entertainment's complete take over of all of Saturday Mornings and their new block on NBC is nothing but a mockery of what that phrase use to stand for.  It's time to put Litton in their place. They can't brainwash us with their edutainment forever! Stay frosty, bronies and enjoy the video.

I pity the fool, or foal, who doesn't watch it!

The Death of Saturday Mornings (Officially)! Litton Takes Over Saturdays!

I know Vortexx on the CW was killed off and replaced it with One Magnificent Morning, thus killing off Saturday Morning Cartoon blocks, but this one takes the cake. As of September 25th, 2016, NBC Kids will be replaced with, surprise, surprise, another block made by Litton Entertainment itself, the same Litton Entertainment that has single-handedly killed off every single cartoon block. All because they are following the FCC's enforcement of the Children's Television Act of 1990. Look, I may not be the biggest fan of NBC Kids, but they were just following the E/I guidelines of the FCC. But, the freakin' FCC doesn't care, so they let their pack of edutainment watchdogs from Litton to absorb all of NBC Kids for their base ends. And the name of the block is, believe it or not, "The More You Know," named after the sign off line from those PSAs NBC airs from time to time. Are you freakin' kidding me?

How dare Litton use something like that to fill their pockets and the FCC's, too?! Who are these people think they are, followers of Sigma, who believe that "Evolution requires sacrifice"? In their feeble, little minds, they think that animation should be sacrificed for the benefit of the whole world and for the kids. That is the most ridiculous claim I have ever heard of. And you think they are would be done with this. No, no no. It will be just a matter of time before they go after animation on cable, satellite and the internet, that is, if they have their way with congress and use the FCC as their method. If they continue to cut so much red tape, animation as a whole will be extinct in the matter of years.

Bottom line, Litton Entertainment has become of the King of Saturday Mornings and they see animation as a cancer. The removal of Vortexx may have killed off Saturday Mornings, but the end of NBC Kids, may have been its burial. It sucks being a fan of animation now.

RIP Saturday Mornings (Officially)
1950s - September 24, 2016 (This time for real)

And if they think I am going to watch Discovery Family because of this, they are sadly mistaken. Discovery is as guilty as Litton Entertainment, especially the Hub being dead. Edutainment does not equal ratings, plain and simple.

And believe me, despite this, we will fight on. For justice, for freedom, for honesty, FOR ANIMATION!!

Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends End Credits (with the 1981 Solo Cartoon End Theme)

My custom made end credits for Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, but with a small twist, it contains the end credits theme of the first 80s Spider-Man cartoon that came before this one. I matched it frame by frame to make it similar to the solo Spidey cartoon. No school like the old school, as they say. Enjoy the show, True-Believers! EXCELSIOR!!

The First Episode of He-Man (in it's normal proper pitch, no less!)

Hey there, Toonsters!

You won't believe what I have stumbled into. A friend of mine named Philip Gipson, share this video from Vimeo on Facebook the other day and to my shock and amazement, it was the first episode of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, "The Cosmic Comet." But, that's not the best part. The best part is, is the fact that this episode itself was shown in its normal. proper pitch.

Long ago, I signed up to He-Man.org and joined in the conversation about the differences between NTSC and PAL over the Filmation shows like He-Man and She-Ra. I suggested using Audacity to fix the audio in its proper pitch as it use to be. Though, I met with some criticisms over my statements, thinking that I badmouthed BCI/Entertainment Rights for ruining the Filmation Library (except for a few), but there was one user who logically explained to me how this procedure works. His name was Grimbot and he told me if BCI were to release He-Man, She-Ra and all the other Filmation shows, they should've slow the frame rate from 25 to 23.976fps, thus restoring it to its normal, proper pitch. But instead, BCI used Interpolation (Ghost Frames) for their frame rate conversion, which are the versions we ended up today NTSC with the PAL Speedup treatment. Using video making software is key to fixing the quality of the shows we like.

Anyway, after the convo, Grimbot, somehow was inspired by my encouragement to fix the quality of the shows, took it upon himself and did it himself, starting with the episode, "The Cosmic Comet." And now, the hard part beginnings. Trying to convince DreamWorks, who now owns most of the Classic Media library, including those of Filmation, to fix the frame rates back to its normal, proper pitch. So that way, the next DVD/Blu Ray re-releases we see, are the true NTSC quality versions of He-Man, and She-Ra and so forth.

So other than having my VHS copy of the He-Man/She-Ra Christmas Special, this is the only normal pitched version of He-Man I will enjoy. So, until then, enjoy the first episode of He-Man in its true proper pitch. And hope and pray more episodes and more Filmation shows will follow this new trend. So Grimbot, wherever you are, thank you. You have made us He-Fans and She-Ravers very proud. Until next time, Stay Frosty, my friends!

https://vimeo.com/174219238 - NTSC He-Man by Grimbot (I am not making this stuff up. There is a chance that this show and every other Filmation show can be restored. It all depends how DreamWorks responds to our pleas, that is. Only time will tell.)

(He-Man and the Masters of the Universe end credits theme play)

Now fighting evil has become more Hi-Tech!

Happy Birthday, Ami!

The Rekka Dragon has Gone Solo!

Hey there, Toonsters!

As you are aware, my good buddy and brother in arms, Stefan, has left the American Cartoon Federation to focus more on the other blogs, including Retro Talk and left me in charge of the ACF to carry on the fight to bring honor and respect back to animation, including those of Western Animation. But, the progress is long and hard, especially doing it all by myself and not to mention doing everything else, including my real life.

TOM-Z: You are never alone, Jay! You got me and all the other toonsters to back you up!

TOM-Z!

TOM-Z: Stefan may have left, but I haven't. Whatever you need, anything at all, I will be there.

Thanks, TOM. I appreciate it.

TOM-Z: So, what now, Boss?

Good question. As you can see, I see got some blogging left in me. So Toon Ninja Reviews is still up and running. My artwork will still be a part of the ACF. I know he told me no ponies, but I gotta talk to Stefan about making an exception for my steed, Shining Armor. Nothing beats the power of compromising. And since I am starting to use YouTube more often, I will post some of my videos. Speaking of which, I am almost finish with my first episode of my documentary series called "LET'S FAIL: Anime Jason vs. Discovery Family." This episode will be about Discovery's beginnings to its splitting into multiple channels. There will be a few gags in there. Still, I gotta be careful, though. YouTube is still pushy with their copyright issues, even though I made it perfectly clear that my videos are made under Fair Use.

TOM-Z: Man, that is rough.

Tell me about it!

TOM-Z: I hope this video and all the other Anti-Discovery themed videos get lots of views and not get cut off due to false copyright claims.

Let's hope so, TOM.

TOM-Z: I know you will do well here. Stefan will be proud of you. Stay Gold, Jay!

Thanks, TOM!  With that said, expect the first episode of Anime Jason vs. Discovery Family to be released very soon. After I do some little tweaking left and so forth. Until then, Stay Frosty, my friends!

Grand Finale

And Now...The Final Episode.

*On the surface of a Green Planet [planet rock],lies a small 3 story base, called Z Central. Inside the Base's Lounge (a generic lounge with a curved couch, chairs,an entertainment center,a mini-bar,and a fridge.). Various camera men are focused on the curved couch. Sitting in the back of the room is the audience, made up of various cartoon stars*

Announcer [voice]: Welcome to the Ultimate Finale. This Is The American Cartoon Federation's Grand Finale Special. ACF is going out,It's going out with a Bang! Here Are Your Hosts Stefan and Tom Z2.

*The crowd applauds Stefan and Tom Z2 as they enter. Applause ends.*

Welcome everyone to The ACF Grand Finale Special. I'm Stefan and he's Tom Z2. We are live inside the lounge of Z Central,a base owned and operated by Tom Z2 himself. Now,as you know,I'm leaving The ACF to work on my other blogs. My longtime friend Jason, who sadly couldn't be here today, will be taking command.

Tom Z2: I'm sure he'll catch the re-airing though. We're here to celebrate the End of an Era.

*Both Tom and Stefan take a seat on the curved couch as the crowd applauds.*

Tom Z2: Today,we will be doing a retrospect of both American Cartoon Federation, and it's predesessor The Cartoon Historian.

And joining us will be 3 very special guests. So don't go away,we'll be right back.

Announcer [voice]: The ACF Grand Finale Special will return after this.

Announcer [voice]: Welcome back to The ACF Grand Finale Special.

Thanks Announcer, well before we officially begin,I want everyone to give a very warm welcome to our 3 super special guests. Now these 3 should be very very familiar to longtime fans.

Tom Z2: So please give a round of applause to our old friends...Sailor Moon,Gohan Son,and Mina.

*Audience applauds as Gohan,Mina, and Sailor Moon come out,hug the hosts, and sit on the curved couch with them. Applause ends.*

Welcome back guys. We"ve missed you.

Mina: Great to be back.

Gohan: Even though it's only for this one episode.

Tom Z2: So what have you guys been up too?

Gohan: Nothing much. Doing the lecture circuit and rasing a family. *takes out wallet and shows off pictures* This is my daughter Pan.

Sailor Moon: She's adorable.

Indeed.

TomZ2: Is she strong?

Gohan: *puts wallet away* She may be,Though we're not sure.

Sailor Moon: I've been defending Japan from new enemies, including a ressurected Dark Kingdom, which thankfully, never got a chance to thrive.

Mina: I"ve Been doing stuff. Nothing worthy if mentioning though.I've seen you've been successful with things here,Stefan.

Yup. Also had help from Jason. You guys never met him, have you?

Sailor Moon: Nope. Sorry. I like his work though.

Mina: Me neither.

Gohan: Agreed. We never crossed paths.

TomZ2: As for me,I've been keeping busy with this place,it's no easy task, lemmie tell ya.

Yeah,I've been busy myself with my other webpages. What does everyone think so far?

TomZ2: Love MVW. Retro Talk is coming along nicely. The game reviews are cool. You totalky ripped of KWing, though.

Mina: Can't wait to see whats to come.

Gohan and Sailor Moon nod.

Sailor Moon: Giga Fiction is cool too.

Gohan: Can't wait to see your Street Fighter Series next year.

Legend of Zelda 1 review has been up for Weeks so if you haven't checked it out yet,go for it.

TomZ2: Also seen your plan for a TV Network. We desperatly need a Network like that.

Mina: Most definatly. I also read some stuff on Giga Fiction. Dude,is it a Fan Fiction site or a Mega Man shrine? I mean, seriously. XD

Sailor Moon: Will there be any Sailor Moon based fics on the site?

I'm working on one right now, though it's more of a batch of episode summaries than a full blown fanfic. I'll show everyone soon.

Tom Z2: MVW is coming along great. Vince McMahon could learn from you.

Indeed. So,any new animated favorites?

Sailor Moon: I'm really enjoying Sailor Moon Crystal. It feels like a great improvenent over the original. I also love Star v The Forces of Evil.

Gohan: Been too busy to watch TV,me being on the lecture circuit and all. But,both Pan and Videl love Elena of Avalor.

Tom Z2: Not much cartoon watching nowadays. Been way too busy to watch TV. I did check out some Anime online, though. They're not as great as the Anime of the past, but they're okay. Dragon Ball Super is delivers on action but craps on continuity with a passion. None of the storylines fit in with existing continuity. Toei and Toriyama really need to check back on previous works.

Mina: I love Star v The Forces of Evil as well. Star reminds me of Sailor Venus. Another animated show I like,to some extent,is Steven Universe. I watch it sometimes online. It has it's retarded moments, but otherwise it's not a bad show.

Great. I've been watching Disney mostly, they're the only company I trust with my animation needs these days. BTW,New Ducktales coming next year. Any hopes for the series?

Mina: With Allen Young gone and most of the original cast getting up in years,we're gonna need a fresh new cast.

Sailor Moon: The theme song was fun. Hope they remix it for the 2017 show.

Agreed.

Gohan: From what I read, the show will be a modern take on the original Don Rosa and Carl Barks stories.

Tom Z2: That's what I've heared too. Hope they keep Glomgold Scottish,he's much better that way.

Agreed. He also looked better in the 87 show. We're gonna go to break now,but when we return, out little "panel" will be discusing our favorite posts of this blog. So stay tuned for a trip down memory lane.

Announcer [voice]: The ACF Grand Finale Special will return after this time out.

Announcer [voice]: And now, back to The ACF Grand Finale Special.

Thanks announcer. And Now...What We Gonna Do Right Here, Is Go Back....Way Back...Back Into Time.

TomZ2: Time to talk about out favorite ACF posts. Who wants to go first?

Mina: I'm partial to the Spider-Man "Lessons",after all they were my debut episode. The reboot of the Ninja Turtle "lesson" was also a fun episode. 2k3 Mikey was such a fun guest host.

We went for Pizza afterward. I was treating. That Turtle can really scarf down Pizza, like his 1987 counterpart.

Mina: Another fun one was that Dorkstalker interview, that was very funny. Wonder what they're up to now?

Last time I talked with them, which was months ago, they're living out their lives as normal. They still have trouble finding work, though.

Mina: But to me the absolute best episode was 60 Minutes: Caroon Edition. That one rocked and was one if the most unique thing on this site.

I admit,I had lots of fun doing that. Optimus Prime makes a damn great host. I also got to meet Tom 3.0 too.

Tom Z2: One of my favorite episode was the Captain N 2-parter. Nice insight of the series, especially from that interview.

I think it was a mistake on DiC's part to have Jeffery Scott write an entire season by himself.

TomZ2: Another fave would have to be The Sailor Moon retrospect by Jason.

Sailor Moon: I like that one too.

I made a contrabution to that, adding more Manga-Anime differences. I liked that retrospect as well.

Tom Z2: The Episode on Saban Moon was an interesting read too. Though I'm glad That concept never got off the ground.

Sailor Moon: Amen! My reputation in America woud've been decimated had That abomination existed.

Tom Z2: True that. I also felt that the 60 Minutes: Cartoon Edition episode was one ACF's finest. Love Optimus Prime.

Fun fact: I was gonna make another one,but because of my scheduel, those plans were scrapped.

TomZ2: Shame. But thems the breaks,I guess. Another thing I really like were the Cartoon Cronicles. Shame you didn't make anymore,Stefan

Oh,I intend to continue them on Retro Talk.

Sailor Moon: Awesome. One of my favorite episodes was when we did the history of She-Ra. I was the co-host.

You were a good co-host.

Gohan: Everyone was a solo co-host except me.

Sailor Moon: I also liked 60 Minutes: Cartoon Edition and The Sailor Moon retrospect. The What Should Have Been's were great too.

Gohan: I liked those as well. Ultimate Boss was good too.

Tom Z2: Dug the Disney Afternoon Rebirth Promo too. And those Shego summeries were awesome.

I got The Disney Afternoon Rebirth idea from a youtube video. And those Shego summeries were my answer to Legend of Korra.

Mina: The 90's nostalgia list was cool.

It's just something I felt like making. Did one for the 80's too.

Sailor Moon: I'm a fan of the lists too.

Gohan: Me too. My favorites include: Stupid Network Executive Moments,Top 10 Things Disney Needs To Copy From The Eisner Era,and Disney Sequels that are good.

I really expressed my Classic Disney fanboy-ism,haven't I?

Everyone: Yup!

Gohan: The Saturday Morning Block Rater was also a great read.

The Idea came to me while watching videos of old SatAM promos on Youtube.

Gohan: Loved the Top Non-Disney Animation Companies episode too.

I figured I'd show my appreciation to TV Animation Companies that weren't Disney.

Gohan: I loved the Top 20 List of Underrated Animated Gems.

Tom Z2: Same here. Always nice to see some of the lesser known shows get some love.

Inspired by Ben T.Looney's 'Top 11 Underrated Cartoon' videos. After watching them,I figured I'd do my own list.

Gohan: You have lots of Sailor Moon stuff here, but only 1 post dedicated to Dragon Ball.

Yeah,I meant to do more, but like I said,I had other things to do and write about. Hopefully Jason will pick up the slack in that department. Anyway, for me I'd say my favorite posts would be: SatAM Rater,The Show Ideas,The What Could Have Beens, and Most of The Lists. I also love my Retrospect of Weekday Afternoon TV. I'll be doing a Sunday Morning variation on Retro Talk.

Mina: I liked that Retrospect as well. Most of the Specials were fun reads.

Indeed they were. Another, episode I liked was the one on Cartoon What-If's.

Mina: Jamie and Coop were fun guests. I liked that episode as well.

Tom Z2: This site has a crapload of fun stuff. Hopefully,Jason will be able to keep the momentum going.

Sailor Moon: Since Jason is such a fan of mine,he should call me up sometime to co-host.

He'd love that.

Tom Z2: Now that our little time trip is over,it's time to take a small time out. So don't go away,we'll be right back with final words.

Announcer [voice]: And now the conclusion to The ACF Grand Finale Special.

Okay, before we part ways again, let's talk about future endeavors. You already know about mine.

Tom Z2: For me,I'm gonna continue my duities as Chief Operator of this base. Been a pretty uninteresting job as of late,I'll admit.

Gohan: I'm still adjusting to fatherhood. Once I'm done with tbe Lecture Circuit,I'm gonna spend more time with my family and friends.

Sailor Moon: I'm gonna continue what I've always been doing,Punishing Evil in the Name Of The Moon. Eventually, once I'm done with collage,I'll settle down with Tuxedo Mask/Mamoru and start a family.

Mina: I have no clue what I'll be doing in the future. I'm a free spirit,so I could do anything at anytime.

Well that about concludes are show. I wanna thank Mina,Sailor Moon, and Gohan for joining us tonight. And Tom Z2 for usage of his base. Hope you enjoyed this little reunion of the Cartoon Historian Family. Jason,I leave this site in your hands buddy.

'Til we meet again,Stay Gold Space Cowboys.

Jason's Gallery - Team Rocket Captured!

Here we have Team Rocket finally being brought to justice by my animated self. Serves them right for calling Ash and friends twerps, along with all other trouble they have caused, and Jessie is more humiliated than James and Meowth combined, especially being gagged, because of her violent nature. Justice has prevailed! (At least in this fanart, anyway).

Jason's Gallery - Ariel's Skyward Serenade

Here we have our favorite redheaded mermaid, Ariel, doing what she does best, singing with that beautiful golden voice of hers. Her voice was so enchanting, a bird landed on her finger. She is truly magical. This was based on a photoshoot with the real life Ariel, Traci Hines, who was posing as a mermaid different from Ariel, doing the same thing like in this fanart. One thing is for sure, both Ariel and Traci Hines are both magical!

Jason's Gallery - Anime Jason & Duke!

In honor of Michael Bell's birthday, I present to you my latest, awesome fanart. That's right, folks. It is my OC, my animated self, Anime Jason, in action, fighting alongside my favorite member of G.I. Joe, First Sergeant Conrad S. Hauser, codename: Duke, kicking some Cobra tail. Duke gives one Cobra trooper a devastating left cross, my OC gives one a powerful Taiyouken (Solar Fist), in an uppercut fashion, to another. This is the first of many featuring my animated self in action. And no more better than this one featuring the one Joe whose will doesn't break so easily, just like the O-ring of my G.I. Joe figure that didn't break. Here's to you, Mr. Bell. Happy Birthday, soldier!

YO JOE!!

Jason's Gallery - Reby Sky: The True Puppeteer!

Behold! My latest fanart, but this time, it is wrestling releated. As we all know that me and Stefan are big time wrestling fans. And we do agree that TNA Impact Wrestling is downright terrible, all due to the following factors, bad management from Dixie Carter, Mike Bennett and Maria are acting like a mini cult, some blonde bimbo being a Vickie Guerrero wannabe, some dummy named E-LI-Drake (dummy), and most disturbing of all, the downward spiral of Matt Hardy, who as of late, gone to the point of insanity that he rather stay like this than break Kayfabe on social media. And whose to blame for his downward spiral? It is not the one he calls Brother Nero, Jeff Hardy, who frankly is as better Hardy than Matt. If anyone should be blamed for Matt's fall from grace, and judging from this fanart, I think you know who I am talking about. If anyone should be blamed, it is Reby Sky, the real mastermind behind Matt Hardy's poor regard for Kayfabe and bad parenting, too. While Matt Hardy goats on how he "deleted" Jeff Hardy, Reby just stands there and let her husband hog all the glory, for we all know that she is the one who destroyed the legacy of the Hardy Boyz forever.

Poor little Maxel, he is going to have a terrible childhood because of what his parents are acting like.

The point is, Reby Sky has ruined the Hardy name and she continues to control Matt like a puppet. And so ladies and gentlemen of the ACF, I will leave you this one question to those unfit, ungrateful parents: Is this the legacy that you will leave behind...for Maxel?

I'll let you be the judge of that. Now if you'll excuse me, I will be waiting for the next episode of New Japan Pro Wrestling. It is much better than TNA Impact ever was. Because everything with me is action! Stay frosty, my friends.

The Descendants movie was good,Sailor Moon is Legendary.....Let's fuse these 2 franchises together, shall we?

Jason's Gallery - Jadeite and Talpa: New Allegiances

"What is thy bidding, my master?"

Here we have a perfect reenactment of the scene from The Empire Strikes Back. Only this time, we see Jadeite, the last of the Four Kings of Heaven, talking to his new lord and master, Talpa, who is communicating with him through a holographic projector. This is part of the first arc of a Sailor Moon/Ronin Warriors crossover I will work on one day, where Jadeite serves as the big bad in the first story, but serving to be the dragon of this crossover's Big Bad, Emperor Talpa, who doesn't show until the second story, which involves the characters from the Dead or Alive series.  I say the Sailor Senshi and the Ronin Warriors will have their hands full, especially with Jadeite being the apprentice to his new master. Scary.

Jason's Gallery - Helena Prays for France

In the wake of the recent terrorist attacks, including one at Nice, France, I give you this somber fanart of Ms. Helena Douglas from the Dead or Alive series, praying to the people of France. This was made after last year's terrorist attack in Paris. And since France is under attack once more by the same soulless, emotionless, Islamist fascist killing machines, it's time for not only healing, but also giving us strength to fight back against these monsters who think that killing innocent children would appease Allah. Well, I got news for them...ALLAH FORBIDS THE KILLING OF INNOCENT CHILDREN!!

Our thoughts and prayers to the people of France. May good fortune ring forever. Godspeed. :(

Jason's Gallery - Quentin Lance: Master Detective!

This next fanart I have done was because of my fandom to this awesome show and that was Arrow. Although Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow is the main hero, but he wouldn't get the job done bringing criminals and super villains to justice without some help, including one curmudgeon cop, Quentin Larry Lance. When the show progressed, he went from a antagonistic cop to a supporting one through the course of seasons 1 and 2. By near the end of season 3, he was being a bit antagonistic again because of what Ra's al-Ghul was doing, but gained back his respect by season 4. Quentin Lance is a very complex character. And the reason for his curmudgeon like behavior is because he had a lot of issues, especially dealing with the apparent death of his daughter Sara Lance (which revealed that she is pretty much alive, then ended up dead, but end up being alive again). Lance may talk tough, but underneath, he is a decent, kind-hearted and vulnerable human being and his gruffy, Harvey Bullock type behavior was just a mask to hide his pain. At the end of Season 3, I thought of him as the Officer Kirk to Oliver's Fonzie. But by season 4, I think of him more like Jack Burton from Big Trouble in Little China. Although cynical and rational at times, he always help out our intrepid emerald archer and his other vigilante friends. In short, Quentin Lance is one cop you don't want to be on his bad side. But once you get to know the real Lance, he is more than just some mean-spirited curmudgeon, much more. After all, and I do agree with his actor, Paul Blackthorne, on this one, never judge a book by its cover. And that is the case with Quentin Larry Lance.

Jason's Gallery - Batman: Sky Guardian

This fanart features one of my favorite superheroes and one of many who proved to all of us that you don't need superpowers to be a hero and that is Batman. This is was based on a t-shirt I use to have, where Batman was flying about Gotham City and it said New York underneath. After all, Gotham is based on New York City. Anyway, Superman may be the first superhero, but Batman is my most favorites. If any man can throw Superman with ease, proved his toughness. That, and the fact that he is downright resourceful, not only being a master detective, but also finding a way out of death traps. Bottom line, Batman is awesome, and what makes him more awesome is the fact that whenever I see an image of Batman, I think of the man who became the Vengeance and the Night when he voiced him since 1992 and that was Kevin Conroy. There may have been many actors who played him, such as Adam West, Michael Keaton, Christian Bale and Ben Afleck, but Kevin Conroy made Batman his own.

Jason's Gallery - Happy 4th of July with Captain America!

In honor of our country's birthday, I give this patriotic fan art featuring the one, the only Captain America, the living symbol of hope, freedom and justice for not just America, but for the whole world. In this troubling time in this world, we need more heroes to combat this evil and preserve freedom and justice for future generations. Happy 4th of July, fellow patriots! And in the immortal words of Cap himself:

FREEDOM PREVAILS!!

Jason's Gallery - Chibiusa & Ryo!

Chibiusa and her honorary uncle, Ryo Sanada. Usagi and Mamoru may be her parents, I always picture Ryo as her uncle/brother figure to her. Who knows? Only time will tell. I wanted to see little Chibiusa spend a lot of time with Ryo, especially for her being licked by his pet tiger, White Blaze (Byakuen). Either way, this is one cute fanart.

Jason's Gallery - G.I. Joe Fan Made Comic Cover

This custom made comic cover fan art of G.I. Joe comics, pays homage to the legendary cover of Captain America #1, where Cap gave Hitler a devastating right cross. But in this one, it is 1st Sgt. Conrad S. "Duke" Hauser giving a right cross of his own to Cobra Commander. And since this is also a crossover story to, I added my OC into the story, where I am told the story on how Duke became a member of G.I. Joe.  YO JOE!!

Jason's Gallery - Birthday Princess Usagi!

In honor of Sailor Moon's birthday, I present to you this wonderful fanart, where Usagi gets her present. A shiny, gold crown from none other than Princess Peach, a crown fit for a princess. This fanart is not only a birthday themed one, but also a shout to the first English voice of Sailor Moon, Tracey Moore, who also voiced Princess Peach in the last two Super Mario Bros. cartoons, when she was originally called Princess Toadstool.

Happy Birthday, Moonface! Let good fortune ring to your buns always!

Jason's Gallery - Ryo and Tuxedo Mask vs. Jadeite!

Another fanart featuring the fictional shon-di (brothers) eternal, Ryo of the Wildfire and Tuxedo Mask. Only this time, they unite together to fight against one of the Dark Kingdom's Four Kings of Heaven (and according to my imagination the apprentice of Talpa (Arago) after being freed from his eternal slumber), Jadeite. For the longest, Jadeite was my favorite general to Queen Beryl and the only one who wasn't truly killed off like his fellow Kings of Heaven. And I wanted him to be a formidable foe to not just Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, but also Ryo of the Wildfire as well. After all, like I said before, his English name, Jedite, sounded like Jedi, which is linked to Star Wars, which in turn, makes Talpa the Japanese equivalent to Darth Vader. Anyway, although united, Ryo and Tux are facing a more determined and more powerful Jadeite, who is motivated with one goal: Revenge!

Jason's Gallery - Anubis & Sailor Saturn: Sunrise Embrace!

This fanart is one of the my earlier works. This one features Koma Toshitada aka Dark Warlord Anubis (Oni Masho Shuten Doji) and Hotaru Tomoe aka Sailor Saturn, embracing when the sun is rising. They both represent the season of rebirth, Spring, they are armed with scythe based weapons and above all, they started off evil, only to see the light and end up fighting for good. I was a bit of a novice back then when doing this, but at least, I gave it my all.

Jason's Gallery - Brothers Eternal! Tuxedo Mask & Ryo of the Wildfire

Speaking of brothers, this fanart I made was a long time coming ever since I grew accustomed to both Sailor Moon and Ronin Warriors. The pairing up of Sailor Moon's lover and protector, Tuxedo Mask and the leader of the Ronin Warriors and my favorite hero in anime, Ryo of the Wildfire. I picture the Green Hornet and Kato, Batman and Robin, The Lone Ranger and Tonto together when I paired Mamoru and Ryo together. There will be more of them in the future. For now, I know you will like this one. They truly are Shon-di (brothers in Cantonese), and that's saying something. And remember, every Green Hornet needs a Kato!

Jason's Gallery - Anime Jason & Rayjin

Our animated selves, our OCs, if you will. Anime Jason (that's me) and Stefan's avatar self, Rayjin, complete with his original design, but I modified it, from the hair, to giving him his extendable staff, giving him that Legend of the Monkey King feel and of course, his morpher for his Dekaranger form. Although his Destiny League stories won't go through, but his story is intertwined with mine. We're in this together. We are brothers from other worlds, in our quest to save the animated world from certain doom, whether it's from Igor the Terrible or Lord Vengstar of the V-Syndicate. It is our duty as animation crusaders to fight to save animation, or else there will be no future for any future artist or animator everywhere.

Jason's Gallery - Tough Choices

Apple Bloom: "Please, Jason. Please come back to Equestria. We y'all miss ya, especially Twilight."

Anime Jason:  "I'm sorry, Apple Bloom. I cannot. As long as Tirek and Princess Celestia have a truce, I cannot go back. My friendship with the pony populace have been tainted by the very evil that wants animation dead and buried."

Hawkgirl:  "You can't mean that. Certainly after what they have done for you. You can't abandon them now!"

Anime Jason:  "I appreciate your help, Shayera. But, I have made my choice. I will continue my self-exile from Equestria, maybe forever. I'm sorry. My life, my soul, my body...my choice."

This fanart is based on a dream I had awhile back. It happened before the premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow and while Discovery Family continue to brainwash the brony populace with nothing but Edutainment drivel. The whole thing goes:

I was in my room, minding my own business, artwork, gaming, etc.. Then, I hear a doorbell ringing. My mother was out to work around that time. I remember her telling me not to open the door to anyone. Anyway, I came down and took a peak at the door to who it was. And to my shock and amazement, it was Ciara Renée and Michelle Creber, who were Hawkgirl from Legends of Tomorrow and Apple Bloom from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic respectively. I thought to myself: "How did they know where I live, better yet, how did they know who I am?" I know my mother told me not to open, but I made an exception just once and open the door and introduced myself to them. Then, in an act of friendship, Ms. Creber wanted to give an Apple Bloom plush toy. But, because of my current state of mind right now, especially with my gripe with Discovery and Henry "Tirek" Schleiff, I respectfully decline her gift. After that, I woke up and it made me think something about that dream. If I would've accepted the Apple Bloom plush toy, I would've given up my free will and humanity and end up watching Discovery Family because Schleiff wanted the bronies to watch My Little Pony, even if it means watching nothing but Edutainment that will make Litton Entertainment blush.

So the way I see it, refusing the Apple Bloom plush toy is like that little dialogue I have put up to go with my fanart. It is like Dune, when Paul Atreides has these dreams that is telling him something, especially his path towards his destiny.

The point is, I am proud brony, but I am not a slave of corporate greed either. And if what this dream is telling me, I will never break because of what Schleiff does to me. I had to sacrifice watching MLP in their later seasons to combat this evil and because of that, I missed out on everything on seasons 5 and 6, not only my favorite steed, Shining Armor, being a father, but also the CM Crusaders finally getting their marks. So until I am willing to watch them on a different format that is NOT Discovery Family, I will always think of Apple Bloom as the little filly that could AND will (that and her being a blank flank for the time being).

And if it means isolating myself and being alienated by other bronies, so be it. Like I said, I will never forget the life lessons of friendship by the ponies, including Twilight Sparkle. But my stance against Discovery Family and everything related to Tirek Schleiff stands. Forgive me, bronies, but I have made my decision. My life, my soul, my body...my choice.

Forgive me...Apple Bloom (Michelle Creber).
