WWF Revision: 1986 - 1992

Continued from Part 2.

This is my Final Post. Time to fix some injustices of the past.

1986 - The only change I'd make for WWF in 1986 is that "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff Wins the WWF Championship from Hulk Hogan during their Steel Cage Match on Saturday Night's Main Event.

During the Actual event, there was controversy over who the winner was, as both men touched the floor at the same time..though in reality Orndorff hit the ground a split second before Hogan did. But, the WWF decided to give the decision to their Golden Boy, Hulk Hogan. So, in my revision, I just make the right call and have Mr. Wonderful win.

Though, he only carries the belt for a month, before dropping it back to Hogan.

Ant that's about it for the changes in '86. Next up, WWF 1987.

==============================================================

1987 - Like with '86, I'd only change 1 thing about WWF in 1987.

And that change is - Andre The Giant Gets his WrestleMania moment and Beats Hulk Hogan for the Championship at WrestleMania III. That's right, Andre gets rewarded for Everything he's done for the Company.

However, due to Andre's condition, he's only champ for a month, before he drops it back to Hogan.

And with that, my Revision of WWF in 1987 ids complete. On to '88.

=================================================================

1988 -   For '88, I think I'm gonna leave things as is. Yeah, WWF in 1988 was pretty good. Plus, one of my all time favorites is the Champ for the entire year. Ooooooohh, Yeeeeeeaaaaah!!! Dig It!

================================================================

1989 - '89 was a decent year, as well, However, I'd make one change - Mr Perfect wins the WWF Championship from Hulk Hogan, thanks to The Genius. And, he holds on to the belt for 2 months, before...you guessed it, Dropping it back to Hulk Hogan in a Steel Cage Match.

I figured, Curt Hennig deserves a run with the title...even if it's just a short one.

And that's it for 1989, Not much needed to be changed in '89. Well, time to move on to the 90's.

============================================================

1990 - The first change I'd ,make in 1990, is that Hulk Hogan does NOT Win the Royal Rumble, "Ravishing" Rick Rude does, making Him a serious contender in the WWF.

The next change will be that, despite being in feuds of their own, "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase and "Macho King" Randy Savage Will be in the World Title picture and will have storylines with The Warrior.

The reason why The Warrior's reign as Champion flopped, was because of the lack of available credible contenders. Well, as you can see, I've decided to change that..

That's all of the changes I'm gonna make for WWF in 1990. Next up '91.

===========================================================

1991 - The first change I'd make is a Huge one - At the Royal Rumble, Warrior retains via DQ. The ref sees "Macho King" Randy Savage smash Warrior with the Septor and DQ's Sgt. Slaughter. Sgt. Slaughter then gets into a feud with Hogan and Warrior gets into a feud with Savage.

So, at WrestleMania VII, the Career Match between Savage and the Warrior will be for the Championship. Then the winner will put the Title on the line against the winner of the Hogan/Slaughter match.

In the main event we get Hogan/Warrior II - The Ultimate Rematch, but this time Hogan wins.

During the match, while the ref is down, Sgt. Slaughter and Gen. Adnan attack both the Warrior And Hogan, with both Warrior and Hogan getting struck hard with a chair and blinded by powder. After the attack, the 2 Heels leave. The ref slowly comes to and Hogan manages to pin Warrior, winning the match.

After the match, Hogan and Warrior form a truce and go after Sgt. Slaughter. This begins the feud which leads into the Match Made In Hell at SummerSlam.

And with that, I made WrestleMania VII better.

The next change will be in the fall, where Col. Mustafa, thanks to Gen. Adnan, defeats Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship.

Sheiky's Revenge,Baby!!!!!!

However, that reign only lasts a few weeks, before Hogan wins it back.

and finally, This Tuesday in Texas end with Undertaker  retaining the title thanks to "Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Paul Bearer. A week later, Jack "Figurehead President" Tunney strips the Undertaker of the Title due to the controversy of that match. So He vacates the Title and puts the it up for grabs at the 1992 Royal Rumble.

And that's gonna do it for my revision of WWF in 1991. Next up...1992.

================================================================

1992 - A minor changes for 1992. The Savage/Flair Championship Match at WrestleMania VIII Is the Only main event. with Sid/Hogan being the next to last match. Speaking of that match, Papa Shango gets his queue on time and costs Sid the match.

Other than this, WWF 1992 goes on as normal. Yeah, '92 was a pretty good year for the WWF. And This wraps it up my WWF Revision series.

WWF Revision: 1997 - 1999

Continued from Part 1.

1997 - For 1997, I'd more or less keep everything as is, yeah...there's really no need to change much.  But, Bret "Hitman" Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin co-win the Royal Rumble, which intensifies their feud and leads to the Fatal 4-Way at the next In your house. The Reason I made Bret co-win the Rumble with Austin, because this is STILL the New Generation Era and Bret Hart is The Leader.

Anyway, Shawn Michaels loses his smile and vacates the WWF Championship, as normal. And the the Title is still put up in the Fatal 4-Way, which is comprised of the 2 Royal Rumble co-winners (Hart and Austin) and the next 2 guys in-line for the title (Undertaker and Vader).

After this, the year continues as normal, though WrestleMania 13 is billed with having a Double Main Event - Bret Hart v. Steve Austin in a Submission Match and Undertaker v. Psycho Sid for the Championship.

In July, Shawn Michaels reaches a crossroads, which I'll dive deeper into in a What If special on my New Blog. Anyway, what I mean is that HBK was taking time off from the WWF and he wasn't too happy with the company at the moment. So, he had the option to jump ship to WCW.

For the sake of not completely changing history, I'm gonna have Michaels stay with the Federation. I also have a what-if for Bret Hart too, but I'll talk about that another time.

After Summer Slam, the Attitude Era officially begins. Everything will go on as normal, except for the Montreal Screwjob. Instead, I'm gonna enact the Original Plan where Bret wins the match via DQ. This satisfies both Bret's integrity and Shawn's ego.

I'll talk more about the Montreal Screwjob in full on my new blog, but the short story was that Bret (who was going to WCW the following month) didn't want to lose to Shawn Michaels in Canada, so The Hitman and Vince McMahon made a deal for Bret to win via DQ, so both Superstars would still look strong. But Michaels was a bitchman and wanted the WWF Championship, so after some "convincing", the original plan was changed behind the Hitman's back.

Well, in My Revision, Vince tells Shawn to screw off and goes with the original plan. Though, he does promise him a title shot in the future.

Anyway, Bret wins by DQ when Chyna and Triple H attack. D-Generation X escapes when the Hart Foundation comes out to help The Hitman. The following night in RAW, Bret Hart delivers his farewell speech and relinquishes the Championship, leaving the WWF for WCW with a better attitude and mindset.

Seriously, Bret deserves more respect than what he was initially given.  Ok, but what about Mr. McMahon? He Was born thanks to the Screwjob. Very true, but here, I'm gonna give Mr. McMahon a slightly different origin in 1998, so don't worry, The Legendary Austin v. McMahon feud Still exists in My Revision.

Anyway, The Championship is then put up in a Tournament, which will conclude at the next In Your House (which will be renamed to 'In Your House - Beat Down for the Belt'). The Tournament participants are - The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Vader, The Artist Formerly Known as Goldust, "Marvelous" Marc Mero, Ken Shamrock, Faarooq, and Owen Hart.

During this Tournament, the various feuds com into play - Owen Hart/ Triple H, Undertaker/Kane, Golduist/Vader, and Ken Shamrock/The Rock. At In Your House in December, Finalists Shawn Michaels and Ken Shamrock brawl for the belt. Thanks to outside interference, HBK wins the match and becomes a 3x WWF Champion.

I'd have the rest of the month go on as normal.

1997 was a good year for WWF Wrestling, and I think I just made it better. Next up, 1998.

==================================================================

1998 - My WWF 1998 remains the same as it was. Except, Mr. McMahon is born a different way. Y'see, instead of turning into Mr. McMahon after the '97 Survivor Series after Screwing Bret, which never happens in My Revision, Vive McMahon turns heel when he grows frustrated after failing to convert "Stone Cold" Steve Austin into a Corporate Champion. However, this alt- road Still leads to Austin v. McMahon...it's just a month later.

Anyway, another thing I'd change is that I'll throttle back on the overly sexual stuff. While I'm at it, I'd revamp the Women's Division into a more serious Wrestling Division. So No Bra and Panties Matches OR Evening Gown Matches.

Profanity is also toned down...at least, a little bit. There's still swearing, but no F-Bombs (thankfully this isn't that big of a change, as there were rarely any f-bombs dropped in the product that we were given).

Oh yeah, and Wrestlers like Val Venus are Never given Title Runs. Period!!!  And the alliance with Playboy is Only a One Off.

Other than this, My WWF 1998 is more or less the same as it was in Real Life.

Well...on to 1999. The Final Year of the 90's.

=====================================================

1999 - For 1999, All changes I made in 1998, sands Mr. McMahon, remain. So no overly-sexual content, serious Women's Wrestling, and no pushing Superstars with really stupid gimmicks, like Val Venus.

But...I've also come up with a Brand New Change....and it's a Huge One.

WARNING!! WARNING!! History Changing Event In Effect!! WARNING!! WARNING!!

Owen Hart Lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At Over the Edge PPV, instead of dropping down from the rafters and dropping to his death, Owen Hart zip-lines down from the Ttantron  and lands safely in front of the ring (my revision of over the edge has a slightly different set design to accommodate for this). He then beats The Godfather for the IC Title, but loses it to Jeff Jarrett a few weeks later on RAW.

Owen Hart wins the 1999 King of the Ring. And when The British Bulldog returns, they form a tag team.

With Owen Hart alive, Bret Hart's mentality in WCW remains sharp, unlike how it was in Real Life.

With those changes, 1999 become a better year for WWF.

And, That's how I plan on changing WWF for the better. So, what comes after this? Dunno, cuz I'm not planing on any more future WWF Revisions..save for the final chapter, in which We'll travel Back in Time to correct a few injustices in the Hulkamania Era. So join me for the Final part of my WWF Revision Series and my Final Post for this Blog.

See you there, RetroHeads.

WWF Revision: 1993 - 1996

Well, this is it, the final new series for this blog and it's gonna be a great one. It's something I had on the backburner for a long time, and today  I'm happy I finally get to do this. This is my WWF Revision Series.

The Series will be broken up into 3 parts - 1993 - 1996, 1997 - 1999, and 1986 - 1992.

So why am I starting with '93 - '96 first, instead of '86 - '92? Because the biggest changes need to happen in that time period, and I want to get those over with first. With introductions out of the way, let's get to it. I'm gonna begin at WrestleMania IX.

1993 - As you know, Wrestlemania XI was concidered one of the worst 'Mania's in terms if booking. Well, that's the first thing I'm gonna change. First Tatanka defeats Shawn Michaels for the Intercontenental Championship, thus establishing his Wrestlemania Moment (he'll lose it to Michaels on Raw before the King of the Ring). Crush defeats Doink in a big way, ending their fued. Mr.Perfect defeats The Narcissist Lex Luger. The Undertaker defeats Giant Gonzalez via pinfall, thus ending their feud. Money Inc defeats The Mega Maniacs, via IRS's briefcase. Yokozuna defeats Bret Hart for the title, And when Hogan comes out, Mr. Fuji just taunts him, never issuing a Title Challenge, so Hogan doesn't become Champ again,

The Wrestling Fans, at that time, knew that Hogan's era was over and Didn't want to see him as champ again. Very good change and WrestleMania IX was improved greatly.

Hogan challenges Yokozuna for the title on RAW, but Fuji wants to humiliate Hogan at a bigger venue...namely The King of the Ring. After a big loss at the hands of Crush, Doink decides to target someone else....The Undertaker. Doink and The Undertaker begin their Joker v Batman-esque fued (which ends at summerslam in a casket match). The RAW before the King of the Ring, Tatanka loses the IC Title back to Shawn Michaels. At the King of the Ring, Hogan fights and loses to Yokozuna, as normal, but leaves the WWF weeks later. Bret Hart still wins the 1993 King of the Ring,so that hasn't changed.

At SummerSlam,The Undertaker fights and defeats Doink in a Casket Match, ending their feud. Jerry "the King" Lawler was in Doinks corner. Speaking of Lawler, earlier in the show he faught Bret Hart (right off the bat, this time) and one by DQ,when Hart refused to release the Sharpshooter. Lex Luger defeats Yokozuna and wins the WWF World Title (though he loses it to Yokozuna at the Survivor Series, thanks to Fuji and Cornette).

The reason for this change is to give Luger a reward for campaigning hard for the his Title Shot. While in This Universe, the whole "Lex Express" campaign was a waste, as Luger only beat Yokozuna via Count-Out, thus never becoming Champion.

Anyway, another revision I'd make is that The Headshrinkers, and NOT the Quebecers, defeat the Steiner Brothers for the WWF Tag Titles. Steiners win them back in December. This is one of the most Important changes,as the 1st Dark Era of The WWE Tag Division, won't be as dark. Also Ludvig Borga feuds with Tatanka, Not Lex Luger. Speaking of turns,Doink becomes a Babyface soon after SummerSlam.

The Steiners begin a feud with the Quebecers after they cost the Bros their Title match on a September edition of RAW. Men on a Mission begins a small feud for the Tag Titles with the Headshrinkers.

- At the Survivor Series, things go as planned, except for a few things: Yokozuna fights Lex Luger and beats him for the title, thanks to Mr.Fuji and Jim Cornette. The Foreign Fanatics v All American's match is NOT the Main Event, and are named different. The Foreign Fanatics are called Borga's Brutes and would consist of Ludvig Borga (captain), The Quebecers (Pierre is never injured and replaced), and Crush.

While The All Americans are renamed to Tatanka's Braves, which consist of Tatanka (who in this revision is never injured), The Steiner Bros., and The Undertaker.

The Doinks v Team Bam Bam is a more serious affair and the show's Only 5-on-5 match. Men on a Mission and The Bushwackers wrestle as themselves, with Doink the only one dressed as...well,Doink. The 5th member of Team Bam Bam is the Brooklyn Brawler. Oh, BTW, Booger is the first one eliminated from that match. Also,The Doinks are renamed to Doink's Funsters.

The night after the Surviver Series,it is revealed to Cornette,Fuji, and Yokozuna that the Undertaker has been named the #1 contender for the WWF Championship at the Royal Rumble.

Yokozuna, fearing the Undertaker, tries to put him on the shelf before the Royal Rumble. The Undertaker-Yokozuna feud begins.

In December,The Headshrinkers lose the tag titles to The Steiner Bros, who then defend them against the Harts at the '94 Royal Rumble, but lose them to the Quebecers in February. Feeling that he had been cheated out of his title at Survivor Series, Lex Luger announces his entry into the 1994 Royal Rumble. Jack "The Figurehead President" Tunney grants him entry, right off the bat.

Aside from the above changes, I keep everything as is. And with that, the Course of WWE has changed for the better in 1993. On to 1994 and the Dawn of the New Generation Era.

===========================================================

1994 - We kick things off with the WWE Royal Rumble 1994. Everything's the same except for 1 thing: It's the Steiner Brothers who hold the Tag Titles and not the Quebecers.

In February,The Quebecers defeat the Steiners for the Tag Team Gold. In March everything goes on as normal.

In Late April,Randy Savage and Shawn Michaels begin a mini-feud (started over michaels' interference in the razor/diesel intercontinental title match). This leads a Hair v Carrer Match, with Michaels' Hair put on the line against Savage's Wrestling Career on a Monday Night RAW in early-May. Thanks to Diesel, Randy Savage loses and remains a Commentator. He also co-hosts Mania with Todd Pettengil.

In May,everything goes on as normal. Well, except for the short Savage/Michaels feud. The WWF Women's division begins to grow.

In June, everything goes on as normal....except No Underfaker! Instead,Ted Dibiase introduces The Reaper,a grim-reaper themed wrestler, who he claims is the Undertaker's replacement...The "New Undertaker",if you will. Dibiase claims he got The Reaper from the same place that he got The Undertaker way back in 1990. Dibiase claims that The Reaper possesses all of the same powers that the Undertaker had,but that The Reaper is superior in every way. The Reaper is played by Brian Lee. The Reaper makes his debut a week later and is everything Dibiase says he is..except more sadistic.

Why this change? Because it's just better than 2 Undertakers. Plus, the Reaper is kinda like a Prototype Kane. So that's cool.

Anyhoo,,,In July, everything goes on as normal, so there's that. In August, the only changes are at Summerslam. At the event,The Undertaker returns to fight and defeat The Reaper, instead of the Underfaker. Also The Hart Bros. Steel Cage Match is moved to the Main Event.

The RAW after Summerslam,Undertaker declares war on all of those who attempted to end him. The exceptions being The Headshrinkers and Adam Bomb (who he says have repented). The 1st body he wants to bury is Jeff Jarrett and that He'll take care of Yokozuna last. Undertaker and Jarrett have a match the next week.

In September,The Undertaker's crusade against his enemies continues. Other than this, nothing is changed. In October,There are only 2 changes: One Minor,One Major. First the minor: Jerry Lawler only brings ONE Mini-King to the WWF, Sleazy. Now the major...

WARNING!! WARNING!! History Changing Event In Effect!! WARNING!! WARNING!!

.....I'd have Vince McMahon, through major negotiations, make a deal with Randy "Macho Man" Savage to renew his contract with the WWF until the Spring of '95.

November has a small host of changes. First off,as a thank you for resigning, Jack "The Figure-Head President" Tunney grants "Macho Man" Randy Savage One Final Post-Retirement Bonus Match against Bob Backlund on RAW. Next change is that Savage is a Color Commentator at the Survivor Series.

Survivor Series Change #2: The Bad Guys look much stronger against the Teamsters, and they manage to eliminate Owen Hart,Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, and "Double J" Jeff Jarrett. Shawn Michaels and (mostly) Diesel eliminate the 1-2-3 Kid,The Headshrinkers, and "British Bulldog" Davey Smith. Other that this major change, the match ends as normal.

Survivor Series Change #3: Doink and Dink battle Jerry "The King" Lawler and his Mini-King, Sleazy in a tag match at the Survivor Series. So it's not Clowns R Us v The Royal Family. Because, it makes the WWF look better than what happened at This Universes' Survivor Series '94..

Survivor Series Change #5: Guts N Glory does way better against the Million Dollar Team...with Guts and Glory winning.

The final change of the month has Bob Backlund keep the WWF Championship for a longer period of time. He loses it to Diesel in early January.

In December,Bret "Hitman" Hart is granted a WWF title shot at the Royal Rumble.

Other than the above changes, 1994 stays as is.

The New Generation Era continues in 1995, where big changes await...as does the Monday Night War.

===================================================================

1995- In January Bob Backlund remains WWE Champ until the first RAW of the month. To prove he's the ultimate champion,Mr.Backlund makes a challenge to put his title up against anyone in the locker room...he gets Diesel. Backlund gives Big Daddy Cool a good fight, but he eventually succumbs to the big guy's power. Diesel becomes the new champion. The Royal Rumble remains unaltered...well,except for the Royal Rumble Match itself, which goes by at it's normal speed.

The next major change I'd make is the feud between Bret "Hitman" Hart and Bob Backlund. I'd simply make the feud more meaningful  Plus, I'd raise the stakes of their WrestleMania match. On an early March episode on RAW, Backlund would add in the stipulation that if He lost at WrestleMania to The Hit Man, He would retire. But that if Bret lost, The Hitman would have to become his pupal for 2 Years. The Hitman agrees.

Their Match at WrestleMania XI still remains an "I Quit" Match, with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper as the Guest Referee. I'd also make The match itself much better than it was at the Actual WMXI. Also, I'd make this the 1st Match in a Double Main Event, with the 2nd one being Michaels v. Diesel fror the WWF Championship.

Bret Hart IS The Leader of WWF's New Generation and to see him relegated to the Mid-Card like this was just disgusting, so I'm fixing things the way they Should've Been!!!

Anyway, Bam Bam Bigelow v. L.T., in My revision is counted as a Special Attraction.

After WrestleMania XI, the Big Changes start to happen. First, All Gimmick Wrestlers are relegated to Superstars, never appearing on RAW. Next, After his Face Turn, Bam Bam Bigelow will have a Year-Long feud with the Million Dollar Corporation, ending at The Survivor Series. Also, "Macho Man" Randy Savage leaves the WWF after the event, where he did Color Commentary with Jerry "The King" Lawler and Vince McMahon.

The next major (and much needed) change I'd make is to the King of The Ring. As Everyone and their father are well We.ll aware, The 1995 King of the Ring was one of the Worst, so for the Revision I'm gonna set things right.

First, Mabel of Men on a Mission does NOT Win the King of The Ring, The Undertaker Does. Mabel gets himself disqualified thanks to interference from Kama. This sets up a feud between Mabel and the Undertaker going forward.

Next, "The Kiss My Foot Match" between Bret "Hitman" Hart and Jerry "The King" Lawler will be changed to a "No Disqualifications" match and will be the 1st part of a Double Main Event.

And Finally, Undertaker becomes the 1995 King of the Ring and gets a Title Shot at Summer Slam.

Next, At In Your House in July, everything goes as McMahon planned, except for 4 things. 1 - An Extra Match where the Undertaker fights Kama in a Casket Match, the one they Would have at Summer Slam 95 in the Actual Timeline. I figured that I'd move it here, so that I can replace it with Bam Bam v. Sid.

Undertaker/Kama Did happen at the event, but it was a Dark Match.

2 - Bret Hart battles Jean-Pierre Lafitte is moved to the next to final match.  In the Actual event it was a Dark Match.Hart loses thanks to Jerry "The King" Lawler's interference.

3 - After failing to gain the Tag Titles from Owen Hart and Yokozuna, the Allied Powers explode, when a pissed British Bulldog viciously attacks Lex Luger. The British Bulldog turns heel and it sets up a short feud between him and Luger. 2 weeks later, The British Bulldog, along with his new manager Jim Cornette, explains his actions. Davey Boy was sick of Luger's arrogant attitude and that the All American got all of the Glory, while the Bulldog did most of the Work. Luger refutes this, however. And the 2 agree to face each other at Summer Slam.

And finally, Change 4 - During his celebration win over Psycho Sid in the Lumberjack Match, Diesel is confronted by the Undertaker, signifying the fact that the 2 WILL face each other for The Title at Summer Slam.

The nest night on RAW, Bret Hart, still angry about Jerry Lawler's interference in his match, Challenges him to a Steel Cage Match at Summer Slam. So NO Issac Yankem. Don't worry, Glenn Jacobs still gets employed by the WWF, he's just Big Glenn Jacobs, a Tough from The Mid West. Yeah, the Evil Dentist thing was Stupid.

Next, I'd set up a rivalry for the IC Title between good friends "The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon and Champion "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, which leads to their epic Ladder Match for the Title at Summer Slam.

Bam Bam Bigelow targets Sid, which leads to Their match at Summer Slam. Plus, as an added bonus, the winner will be the next #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship. Diesel also starts his program with the Undertaker, who He'll be facing at Summer Slam.

Summer Slam '95 has a Double Main Event. The first being Bret "Hitman" Hart vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler in a Steel Cage (which hart wins). And the Second, "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel putting his WWF Championship on the Line against The Undertaker.(which undertaker wins, despite interference from mabel).

Also at Summer Slam, Hunter Hearst Helmsley v Bob Holly is replaced with Lex Lugar v The British Bulldog. Which Luger loses, thanks to Jim Cornette's interference. Note that this will be Lex Luger's Final WWF PPV Event, as he'd jump ship back to WCW in Early September.

Bam Bam Bigelow defeats Psycho Sid and faces HBK for the title on RAW 2 weeks later. He wins by DQ, when Kama interferes, leading to a feud between the 2.

After losing his title to the Undertaker at Summer Slam, Diesel decides to return to his roots and promises to rise back to the top as quickly as he did last time. Diesel is still a babyface, but he's a bit more aggressive and cocky.

With Undertaker as the champion,he takes Diesel's place in the Triple Header Match at In Your House in September. Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker are an interesting combination, don'cha think? Anyway, For September's In Your House, I'd make 2 changes. 1 - Bam Bam battles Kama, which ends in a Double DQ. and  Diesel battles Mabel. After the Match, Mabel and Mo run into "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase, who purchases them. Men on a Mission are now part of the Million Dollar Corporation.

Other than this the event goes on as normal. Later in the month, Undertaker, Diesel, and Shawn Michaels battle Camp Cornette in a 6-Man Tag on RAW. The end is exactly the same, with total carnage in the ring. Undertaker gets shelved and the WWF Championship is vacated and put up as a prize in a Tournament, which will conclude in October at In Your House - The Great White North.

The Tournament Participants are - The British Bulldog, Psycho Sid, Bam Bam Bigelow, "The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon, Jerry "The King" Lawler ,Jean-Pierre Lafitte ,"Big Daddy Cool" Diesel, and Bret "Hitman" Hart.

The Tournament ends with Diesel and Bret Hart in the finals. The Hitman wins and becomes the Champion for the 3rd time. a frustrated Diesel attacks Bret and turns into a tweener.

Other than these changes, IYH 4 remains the same.

The next night on RAW, Diesel explains his actions and is proud of what he did. He declares that the REAL Big Daddy Cool is back and puts everyone in the WWF on notice. He promises to run over all who get in his way, with the exception of his buddies, Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels.

It is also announced that The Undertaker will be returning at Survivor Series And will face Bret Hart for his Championship. And, the winner will go on to Face The British Bulldog at In Your House in December.

The revised Survivor Series '95 also has different matches. The Royals vs. The Darkside is instead The Million Dollar Corp. vs. The Firebrands. The Million Dollar Corp will consist of Mabel, Kama, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, and Jerry "The King" Lawler.

The Firebrands will consist of Bam Bam Bigelow, Savio Vega, Fatu, and Henry Godwin. The Firebrands win the match (thanks to paul bearer coming out to distract mabel) and Bam Bam's battle with the Million Dollar Corporation ends.

The next new match will be Diesel vs. Goldust, which Goldust wins via DQ when Diesel starts brutalizing him.

Also, Bret Hart battles the Undertaker for the WWF Championship and wins via DQ when Mabel interferes.

The rest of the card remains the same, however.

And that's it for the changes, December will remains the same in this revision.

WWF in 1995 has been fixed and What An Improvement, Huh!! Next up, 1996.

==============================================================

1996 - The beginning of '96 remains the same until after WrestleMania XII. Well, first, I'd turn Razor Ramon heel. Here's how this will go:

The RAW after WrestleMania, The Bad Guy joins Shawn Michaels during his in-ring victory interview. Just as things were going great, The Bad Guy attacks and viciously beats up The WWF Champ. The Next week, Ramon explains his actions - he was sick of doing thing the "Right Way" and wanted to do things the "Razor Ramon" way. He then talks about the "Man from '92" and that lately he's missed him like crazy, but that now, the "Man from '92" has returned and is ready to take what he wants, whenever he wants it. And declares that the Real Razor Ramon is Back!

Note: The "Man From '92" refers to how Razor Ramon was in 1992, his debut year.

Anyway, this sets up a Title Match between Razor and Shawn at the next In Your House (still titled 'Good Friends, Better Enemies'). I made this change due to Razor Ramon being more deserving of a Title Shot than Diesel.

So...if Razor is going after the Championship, what about Big Daddy Cool? Well, he starts something with Vader, which leads them to have a match at In Your House. After losing to Vader, Diesel targets Shawn Michaels.

Bret Hart takes some time off, but until he returns, WWF airs Bret Hart Matches from the archives during RAW. He Is the Leader of the Era, after all. Anyway, Bret Does return to team up with Shawn Michaels against Razor Ramon and Diesel.

A Week later....The (In) famous MSG event happens, the one that leads to "The Curtain Call". However, the event is Televised on the MSG Network and has a few matches changed. While Shawn Michels and Diesel Still have their Championship Steel Cage Match, Razor Ramon, now a heel, teams up with Hunter Hearst Helmsley against Savio Vega and Fatu. Bret Hart does guest commentary for the event.

The broadcast ends before the "Curtain Call" happens, so it wasn't televised...though some fans in the arena recorded it.

As much as I Really wanted Razor and Diesel to stay and improve WWF's Tag Division, I refuse to deprive the Wrestling World of one of the most Legendary angles in Wrestling - The Outsider Invasion and the formation of the n.W.o. Yeah, I'm helping the competition, but trust me, this is for the best.

After all of this, '96 goes on as normal, except Bret Hart is featured more prominently. Including, main eventing various House Shows and repping WWF on the International Stage. And of course, All Gimmick and Low-Tier Wrestlers Only appear on WWF Superstars.

Now, the next change will be at Summer Slam, with a New stipulation for the 4-Team Elimination Match. The Winners will defend the Tag Titles against Owen Hart and The British Bulldog at the Next In Your House.

Other than this, Summer Slam '96 remains the same ....as does the rest of the year, for the most part.

In September, Jim Ross "turns Heel" and introduces us to the Fake Razor Ramon and Fake Diesel. However, I'd change it so that Fakes only stick around for a month. Then have the 2 dudes who portrayed them, Glen Jacobs and Rick Bognar, ditch the Diesel and Razor gimmicks to wrestle as Big Glen Jacobs and Rick Titan respectively.

Also Bret Hart's attitude Shawn Michaels is more casual at first, but turns a bit heated when HBK interferes in Bret's match with Sid at In Your House in December.

Well, that's it for 1996. join me for part 2 of this Trilogy, where I go into the depths of The Attitude Era.

See ya then.

The Football Star and the Daredevil! RIP Mongo and Sabu

This memoriam is a double-header, because we have lost not one, but two legends of wrestling within the month or two. Legends in their own right, and how they got through their careers in their own way. I am referring to both Steve "Mongo" McMichael and Sabu.

Originally a football player, and a member of the 1985 Super Bowl champion Chicago Bears, Steve McMichael started his wrestling career in 1995. In the WWF, he was one of many football players assisting Lawrence Taylor in his match against Bam Bam Bigelow at WrestleMania XI, where the former beaten the Beast from the East. Then, he joined WCW, originally a color-commentator for a short time, he eventually became a full time wrestler and joined Ric Flair and his stable, the Four Horsemen, alongside his then wife, Debra. Around that time, he won his only title, being the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. He then retired around 1999, but then returned to his old stomping grounds with football, when he became the head coach of the Chicago Slaughter of the CIFL (Continental Indoor Football League) until the team disbanded in 2014. He died from complications from ALS aka Lou Gehrig's disease on April 23rd. He was 67 years old. His nickname "Mongo", was a nod to the name of the planet from the Flash Gordon series, along with his other nickname, Ming, named after Flash Gordon's archenemy, Ming the Merciless.

And now, from the grid-iron, to going hardcore, as we talk about...

Born Terry Brunk, and trained by his uncle Ed Farhat aka The Sheik, Sabu was best known for one thing, which became the norm for the most part in professional wrestling, his brutal, bloody, style of hardcore wrestling. Named after the famed Indian actor of the same name, Sabu cut his teeth in wrestling in the independent circle, but he rise in fame came when he was a part of ECW, alongside his friend and fellow student of the Sheik, Rob Van Dam. His type of hardcore wrestling almost pay homage to the type of brutality that the Great Muta brings, but brings it up 10xs more bloodier. I mean, scars from barbed wire, super gluing your wounds, not to mention all the bumps, bruises and broken bones that go with it, that guy's a savage, in more ways than one, and he is being doing this for 40 years, up until his eventually death on May 11th. He was 61 years old. Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal...now...you can add Eternal to that list, too. If not for Sabu, there wouldn't be the likes of Rob Van Dam, Taz, the Sandman, the Dudley Boyz, or even those in the present like Jon Moxley or Darby Allin.

Godspeed to you, too. Your paths in wrestling may differ, but you made wrestling even more cool. Thank you.

Superstar Stats Part 1

Just for fun and since I'm in a Wrestling Mood again, I'm gonna be listing general stats for some (not all) of my favorite Wrestling Stars (and managers and commentators) of the 70's, 80's, 90's, and Early 2000's

These will be broken into 4 categories - Ability, Charisma, Mic Skills, and Cool Factor

Ability is self explanatory. This includes In-Ring Skills, Managerial Skills, and Commentary Skills.

Charisma is also self explanatory,

Mic Skills is based on how well the Wrestler does Promos and how great they are at talking.

Cool Factor is based on 2 things - Attire and Personality.

And finally, Overall, which is based on how the Wrestler Scores, with 20 being the highest.

Each Wrestler's stats will be rated from 1 to 5. 1 being the Worst, 3 Being Mediocre/Average, 5 Being the Best, and 2 and 4 being In Between.

WrestleMania

Sorry for the radio silence, I was busy. But, I'm back now and here to talk about WrestleMania.

Yes, friends, it's WrestleMania time again and I wanted to do something to celebrate the "Grandest Stage of them All, so I'm gonna give you the History of WrestleMania And list the Greatest Matches from WrestleMania's 1 though 15. I'll also be listing a few factoids and favorites later down the road, so look out for that.

Also note that, due to time, I'm only gonna cover WrestleMania's 1 though 15. May do the other Events another time (but no promises).

History -

During the 1980s, The WWF's main competition was from Jim Crockett Promotions. Vince McMahon countered Jim Crockett's successful Starrcade annual events, which began airing in 1983, by creating the WrestleMania franchise. A rights agreement which Barry Diller, head of USA Network co-owner Paramount, pushed by 1983 also allowed for better access to programming at the Madison Square Garden, including on any regional pay television network.

For the first WrestleMania, McMahon began cross promoting with MTV, which aired two wrestling specials. The first one was "The Brawl to End It All", aired on July 23, 1984, in which a match from a live Madison Square Garden broadcast was shown on MTV. Cyndi Lauper would make her WWF debut as Wendi Richter's manager, along with her own Manager, David Wolfe. The 2nd was "The War to Settle the Score", which aired on February 18, 1985. During this event, Mr. T would get involved and help Hulk Hogan fend off "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, "Ace" Cowboy Bob Orton, and "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff.

Aside from Lauper and Mr. T, other celebrities also appeared during the buildup to and at the event; most notably Muhammad Ali, Liberace (with The Rockettes), and Major League Baseball manager Billy Martin all appeared during the main event.

WrestleMania would become the WWF's flagship event. It has since become the longest-running professional wrestling event in history and is held annually between mid-March to mid-April WrestleMania would eventually be described as the Super Bowl of Professional Wrestling.

Another thing to note is that Vince McMahon bet his Entire Business on the 1st WrestleMania. Yup, the Whole WWF. Had WrestleMania flopped, the WWF wouldn't even exist today and the McMahon's would be forced to find other careers to survive, since their main source of income would be gone.

So, we are all grateful that WrestleMania was a success and the WWF remained intact. It's interesting to think about this alternative, though.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Greatest Matches (1 - 15) -

$15,000 Body Slam Match - Andre the Giant v. Big John Studd (WrestleMania 1) - It was Bobby "The Brain" Heenan's money vs. Andre the Giants Career. Whoever successfully body slammed the other, won the match and the money. For Andre, it was his WWF career. Thankfully, The Giant won.

Tag Match -  Hulk Hogan and Mr. T w/ "Superfly Jimmy Snuka v. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff w/ "Ace" Cowboy Bob Orton (WM1) - This was the match wasn't that awesome, But it Did make WrestleMania a success. Plus, ya can't go wrong with Mr. T.

Intercontinental Championship Match - George "The Animal" Steel v. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (c) w/ Miss Elizabeth (WM2) - Not the most awesome match, but a fun one. Plus, it's the WrestleMania debut of the Legendary "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Oooh,Yeeaaah! Dig It!!!!

WWF v. NFL Battle Royal (WM2)- The Superstars of the World Wrestling Federation tackle the Best of the National Football League. I Love Battle Royals and this was clearly the best match of the 2nd portion of WrestleMania 2. BTW, Andre the Giant won this thing.

Steel Cage Match for the WWF World Championship - King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan v. Hulk Hogan (c) (WM2) - Not That great of a match, but on this list for being notable for 2 WrestleMania Firsts - The First Cage Match and the first WWF World Title Defense at the event. Plus, I'm kinda a sucker for Steel Cage Matchs

Hair v. Hair Match - "Rowdy" Roddy Piper v. "Adorable" Adrian Adonis w/ "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart. (WM III) - This was Piper's "Retirement" Match. Always fun to watch Hot Rod in action.

Intercontinental Championship Match - Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat w/ George "The Animal" Steele v. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (c) w/ Miss Elizabeth. (WM III) - The Match of the Night! This was 90% Pure Wrestling match and it really showcased the skills of both Savage and Steamboat.

WWF World Championship Match - Andre the Giant w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan v.Hulk Hogan (c) (WM III) - Despite popular belief, This isn't the 1st Match Andre and Hogan had. Legendary, though not the all-time greatest.

The Superstar Battle Royal (WM IV) - The Best Match of the Event. I love Battle Royals.

Intercontinental Title Match - Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake v. The Honkey Tonk Man w/ Jimmy Hart (c) (WM IV) - This was Honky Tonk Man's first and Only WrestleMania as Intercontinental Champion. Not the Ultimate IC Title match, but HTM and The Barber are fun to watch. And The Mouth from the South is always a favorite.

Tournament final for the vacant WWF World Championship - "Macho Man" Randy Savage w/ Miss Elizabeth v. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase w/ André the Giant and Virgil (WM IV) - This match wasn't as good as it should've been. But, it Did establish Randy Savage as a Main Eventer.

The Special Edition of Piper's Pit (WM V) - Not a match but a very entertaining segment. Plus, the return of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

Intercontinental Championship Match - Ravishing Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan v. The Ultimate Warrior (c) (WM V) - Good match and The only time that the Ultimate Warrior lost at WrestleMania.

WWF World Championship Match - Hulk Hogan v. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (c) w/ Miss Elizabeth in a neutral corner (WM V) - The Mega Powers Explode. The continuation of one of the most legendary feuds in Wrestling History.

Special Segment - Rhythm and Blues (Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine w/ Jimmy Hart)preform "Hunka, Hunka, Honky Love" (WM VI) - Entertaining segment got even more entertaining when the Bushwackers (Luke and Butch) showed up and ruined the "Concert".

WWF Tag Title Match - Demolition (Ax and Smash) v. The Colossal Connection (Haku and Andre the Giant) (c) w/ Bobby Heenan (WM VI) - A good match notable for being Andre the Giant's final Wrestling Event as a Full-Time Wrestler.

Million Dollar Championship Match - Jake "The Snake" Roberts v. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase (c) w/ Virgil (WM VI) - The only time at WrestleMania where the Million Dollar Title was put up for grabs. Another legendary feud.

Tag Team Championship Match - The Nasty Boys (Brian Nobbs and Jerry Sags) w/ Jimmy Hart v. The Hart Foundation (Bret "Hit Man" Hart  and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart) (c) (WM VII) - A great match featuring my 2 favorite Tag Teams. This would also mark Bret Hart's Final match as part of an established Tag Team, as soon after, Hart would begin his legendary singles career.

Career v Career Match - "Macho King" Randy Savage w/ Sensational Queen Sherri v. The Ultimate Warrior (WM VII) - The Match of the Night. 2 Legends battle it out with their careers on the line. The Ultimate Challenge was Trash compared to this epic bout.

Shawn Micheals w/ Sensational Sherri v. "El Matador" Tito Santana (WM VIII) - Shawn Michael's first big singles match and a great way to kick off WrestleMania VIII.

The Undertaker w/ Paul Bearer v. Jake "The Snake" Roberts (WM VIII) - The Undertaker, the future Super Legend de-fangs the Snake in this all-time classic.

Intercontinental Championship Match - "Rowdy" Roddy Piper (c) v. Bret "Hit Man" Hart  (WM VIII) - The Match of the Night. Quite possibly the Greatest WrestleMania Intercontinental Championship Match of All Time.

WWF World Championship Match - "Nature Boy" Ric Flair w/ Mr. Perfect (c) v. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (WM VIII) - The 2nd Greatest Match on the Card. The 1st match in the Legendary Savage/Flair Affair. This Was gonna be the Main Event, but in Never happened thanks to Hogan's politicking.

IC Championship Match - Shawn Michaels w/ Luna Vachon (c) v. Tatanka w/ Sensational Sherri (WM IX) - The Match of the Night....and it was the Opening Bout. The Card for IX was Awesome, but was booked very badly. For the Record, Tatanka Should've won the Title here.

The Steiner Bros (Rick and Scott) v. The Hedshrinkers (Samu and Fatu) w/ Afa (WM IX) - Just 2 of my favorite Teams battling at one of the worst booked WWF PPV's.

WWF World Title Match - Bret "Hit Man" Hart v. Yokozuna (c) w/Mr. Fugi and Jim Cornette (WM X) - Bret Hart's redemption after being robbed (TWICE!) at WrestleMania IX. The WWF's New Generation Era begins after this Event.

IC Title Match - Razor Ramon w/ The 1-2-3 Kid v. "Double J" Jeff Jarrett /w The Roadie (c) (WM XI) - Razor Ramon and Jeff Jarrett had a pretty damn good feud in '95, and this mach was a testament to that. Shame Razor didn't win the IC Gold.

Tag Title Match - Owen Hart and Yokozuna (billed as a mystery partner) w/ Fuji and Cornette v. The Smoking Gunns (Bart and Billy) (c) (WM XI) - Bot spectacular, but still a really good match. Plus, Owen Hart bags his first piece of Gold.

"Big Daddy Cool" Diesel w/ Pamala Anderson (c) (WM XI) - HBK's first WrestlestleMania as a Main Eventer and BDC's Only WrestleMania as Champion. Both men put their friendship aside to give us a really good match. This Was the Match of the Night.

Special Attraction - Laurence "L.T." Taylor w/ The NFL All-Pro Team v. Bam Bam Bigalow /w Ted Dibiase and the Million Dollar Corporation (WM XI) - For a special attraction, this was a fun watch. Plus, TLC singing their pro-L.T. number right before the match was great.

The Geriatric Match - Nacho Man v. The Huckster w/ Billionaire Ted as the Special Referee (WM XII) - The Grand Finale of the "Billionaire Ted" saga. This was a ridiculous, yet fun match.

Hollywood Backlot Brawl - "Rowdy" Roddy Piper v. Goldust (WM XII) - This was a really fun match. After the Backlot Brawl itself , Piper and Goldust had a car chase that used footage of OJ Simpson's car. The fight returned to the Arena, where Piper beat the hell out of Dustin in a comical way.

This was also the match where the famous "Double Turn" happened.

WWF World Title Match - The Undertaker v. Pycho Sid (c) (WM XIII) - The Grand Finale of the New Generation Era. Undertaker wore his classic "Grey Gloved" attire here as a tribute to his first WrestleMania appearance. Bret Hart interfered a few times, which I found funny.

Tag Team Battle Royal (WM XIV) - The Opening match to the first WrestleMania of the Attitude Era. I Love Battle Royals .

The Dumpster Match for the Tag Titles - Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie v. The New Age Outlaws ("Road Dawg" Jesse James and "Bad Ass" Billy Gun) (c) (WM XIV) - A great Hardcore match, where you had to toss your opponents into a Dumpster to win.

Undertaker v. Kane w/ Paul Bearer (WM XIV) - After months of refusing to fight his "Brother" and taking abuse for it, The Undertaker finally had enough, and so this awesome match happened. The Very beginning of a great rivalry that would last for years.
