Voice Actor's Corner - Jennifer Hale

 

It is time once again for another episode of Voice Actor's Corner. I already did the first three, but all male. I think this time around, I will do the female variety. In this latest blog, I will talk about the wild, fearless and beautiful wildcat, Jennifer Hale. Before we get started, I want to make a correction on my last Voice Actor's Corner blog. When I did my blog about the late Jack Angel, I thought he reprised his role as King Zarkon for the Sprite commercials. I was wrong. It was Kevin Michael Richardson (who voiced Zarkon for Voltron: The Third Dimension) voiced the King of Doom in those commercials. I will do one about him, cause his baritone voice is as deep as they come. Thanks for the correction, Stefan. I will double-check the facts next time. That being said, let's move on to the blog.

Born in Happy Valley-Goose Bay in Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada, Jennifer Hale's career began when she moved to the states and to Alabama, when she got a job doing voiceovers for a local radio station for $35. Then, in 1982, she graduated from the Alabama School of Fine Arts, when she was in the theater department at the time. When she did voiceovers through the PA system, she knew she had the voice acting bug. Once she graduated with a business degree, her journey into voice acting truly began. Since 1994, Jennifer Hale became one of the most popular voice artist, not just in animation, but also in gaming. So much so, she was recognized by Guinness World Records as the most prolific video game voice actress in 2013. What a proud achievement to have. Wish we would've hear more proud accomplishments, especially for all voice actors. That being said, although she voice so many characters, I will only list the ones I am more familiar with. Ivy, one of the finest detectives ACME ever had.

Ivy (Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?): Her first voice role ever in her career. Even though I grew up watching Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? on PBS with Greg Lee, Lynne Thigpen (God rest her soul) and of course Rockapella (ROCKAPELLA!!), Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego? is what started my Saturday Mornings around 1994. Based on the educational computer games, this series revolves around former ACME detective turned international thief, Carmen Sandiego, who steals every rare artifact, treasure, monument and so forth all over the world and it is up to the very organization she once worked for, the ACME Detective Agency, to bring her and her co-horts of VILE to justice. One of those ACME detectives is Ivy, a fearless redhead who is skilled in Martial Arts, a good pilot and doesn't take any guff from anybody, even her little brother, Zack. Despite getting frustrated very easily, whether from Zack, Carmen herself or any other crook, on thing is for sure, as long as she remembers the ACME Triangle of Excellence (Vigilance, Dedication, Courage), she is one agent who will always gets the job done.

Brains and beauty, a winning combination for Sam, teenage spy and a proud good one, too!

Sam (Totally Spies!): From one redhead to another, I present to you the leader of the lovely trio of spies from the secret organization called the World Organization of Human Protection or WOOHP for short (don't ask). Together with Clover and Alex, Sam travels across the world fighting crime while living their lives as ordinary teenage girls. Level-headed and always self-assured, Sam always figures out solutions when foiling international crime, or dealing with the antics of her rival, Mandy (who Ms. Hale also voiced). 

Mandy: Mean Girl and Drama Queen! How Sam and the other girls put up with her, I'll never know.

Green, Red and Golden Yellow jumpsuits, huh? Reminds of three other fictional girls I know would wear them like Misty from Pokémon, Penny from Inspector Gadget and Jade from Jackie Chan Adventures. But that story is for another time.

"I'll slice you to pieces!"

Delma (Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits): A female Orcon, but with a mean-streak to boot. When we first meet her, she and the other Orcons made fun of Darc, who is a human/Deimos hybrid. As his story progressed, Delma was starting to have some feeling towards Darc until circumstances changed everything, especially when Darc was betrayed by her brother Densimo, which in turn, killed the Orcon leader in the process. That moment changed Delma's perspective on Darc after he killed Densimo. Although aligned with the human/Deimos hybrid, she vowed to kill Darc, when he least except it. Be prepared.

June: One bounty hunter with a flirtatious streak!

June (Avatar: The Last Airbender): Although appearing only in two episodes, June as deadly as she is beautiful. As a bounty hunter, she hunts her prey for the highest bidder. And with her Shirshu, Nyla (who has a strong scent), she is a bit more deadlier. One of her funnier moments was flirting with Uncle Iroh, who she calls the creepy grandpa, much to Zuko's chagrin. 

BTW, she also voiced Kyoshi, the Avatar before Roku, whose likeness was the inspiration for the Kyoshi Warriors, including Sokka's love interest, Suki.

We salute you, Jessie, for being a part of a proud family of adventurers!

Jessie Bannon (The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest): Originally voiced by Jesse Douglas for season 1, Hale took over as the daughter of Race Bannon for season 2, when most of the characters resemble their classic looks. First appearing in the 80s Jonny Quest episode, Deadly Junket, Jessie was portrayed as the daughter of Dr. Bradshaw, who was forced to do Dr. Zin's bidding. It was not until Jonny's Golden Quest that she was revealed to be the daughter of Race Bannon. Since then, after the events of Jonny Quest vs. the Cyber Insects, Jessie can be a bit adventurous and brave as both Jonny and Hadji, and a little bit more like her birth father. In season 1 of Real Adventures, she wore a green t-shirt and denim jeans. But in season 2, along with most of the characters retaining their classic style, Jessie sports an all-pink outfit, almost like the mark of a damsel in distress. But Jessie Bannon is no damsel, that's for sure.

Cinderella, armed with a broken glass slipper, shown in Ralph Breaks the Internet, alongside Jasmine from Aladdin and Pocahantas.

Cinderella (Disney): Originally voiced by Ilene Woods, starting with Cinderella II: Dreams Come True, Hale became the official voice of the second Disney princess after Snow White, displaying her kind, gentle nature Ms. Woods displayed in the movie. Not bad for a scully maid who is more of a lady than her evil stepmother, Lady Tremaine ever was. Name one Disney princess who would uses a glass slipper as a weapon? But this princess sure did in Ralph Breaks the Internet. I wouldn't be in a dark alley with her if you get on her bad side. But other than that, Cinderella reminds us that a dream is wish your heart makes, especially when trying hard in achieving your goals to be immortalized by your deeds.

Mallory McMallard: Fiery redhead, assistant captain, no-nonsense duck.

Mallory McMallard (Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series): The Assistant Captain of the Ducks of Puckworld. Mallary is no-nonsense, hot-tempered sometimes (especially dealing with the nonsense of Wildwing's little brother, Nosedive) and does have a strong sense of justice, thanks to years of training with the Puckworld Special Forces. If this show would've lasted more than 26 episodes, she would've mellowed out and start thinking a bit more level-headed, just like her captain, Wildwing. To the point of being more than just friends. For information about that, look up my Destiny League profile on Wildwing Flashblade himself. It is written on his backstory. Gee, what are redheads so fiery in more ways than one? It is almost like an occurring thing for Ms. Hale. But that's just me.

"Felicia Hardy, also known as the Black Cat, is one of Spider-Man's closest superhero friends." - Stan Lee

Felicia Hardy/Black Cat (Spider-Man: The Animated Series): From the Magical World of Disney to the exciting world of Marvel, here is the first of many characters Ms. Hale has voiced. Unlike her comic's counterpart, this version of Felicia Hardy is far more different than how she was originally portrayed. When we first meet Felicia, she goes to the same university (Empire State University) as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man and was originally one of two love interests for Peter, the other being Mary-Jane Watson. Filling the role of Gwen Stacy (who never appeared in the show until the final episode), in season 1, Felicia was a posh, elegant socialite, whose mother, Anastasia Hardy, was one New York's leading philanthropists, alongside J. Jonah Jameson and Wilson Fisk (aka The Kingpin, who uses his philanthropy to hide his true motives as a crime boss). Usually flirting around Peter from time to time and a little bothered every time he disappears when he does his "other" form of business. But by season 2, she starts having a romantic relationship with Michael Morbius, before (AND after) becoming the living vampire that he is today (who hungers for plasma. Stupid censors). Then, she had a relationship with Jason Philip Macendale until revealing that he was the Hobgoblin (way before knowing the existence of Roderick Kingsley being the man behind the Hobgoblin with Macendale and Ned Leeds being the decoys). She didn't become Black Cat until season 3 and her characterization of her is very different than her comic's counterpart. In the comics, Black Cat (who was Marvel's answer to DC's original femme fatale, Selina Kyle aka Catwoman) was a very skilled cat burglar, following in her father's footsteps and giving anyone that comes in contact with her, some bad luck, especially Spidey. In the show, after being tested by the very same Super-Soldier serum that turned Steve Rogers into Captain America (but with modifications), Felicia becomes the Black Cat and back again whenever the occasion calls. Though different from her comics counterpart, Felicia maintains her flirtation towards Spidey, just like in the comics, right down to addressing him as just Spider. Other than Mary Jane (who also voiced her in Spider-Man Unlimited), Hale reprised her role as Black Cat for the PS1 Spider-Man video game, where she aids Spidey in his quest to clear his name and stop the real villains who are planning Symbiosis all over New York. One thing's for sure, this cat does not has a shed of bad luck, that's for sure.

Before Pepper Potts returned to Tony Stark's life, Julia Carpenter did double duty for Iron Man, as Tony's secretary for Stark Industries, but fighting evil alongside Force Works as Spider-Woman.

Julia Carpenter/Spider-Woman (Iron Man: The Animated Series): Originally voiced by Casey Defranco for season 1, just like the 90s Fantastic Four cartoon, with the exception of the likes of Robert Hays and Dorian Harewood, most of the characters were re-casted for season 2, including Julia Carpenter, the second Spider-Woman. In the comics, Julia Carpenter was the second woman to carry the name Spider-Woman, after the first and well-known Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew (who had her own cartoon once upon a time), before changing her name to Arachne and then becoming the next Madame Web and a member of the Avengers West Coast, later renamed Force Works. Her powers are almost as similar to that of Spider-Man and her costume was the inspiration for Spidey's black costume during the Secret Wars (before revealing to be an alien symbiote, which was the basis for Venom). In the cartoon, she fills the role of Pepper Potts, one of the supporting characters from the Iron Man comics, doing double-duty as both Tony Stark's secretary and as Spider-Woman, fighting alongside the other heroes of Force Works. By season 2, Force Works broke up while she and Rhodey stayed behind to help Tony. Just like with Pepper, Julia at the course of that season, developed romantic feelings for Tony. And as Spider-Woman, Julia can hold her own, even against a foe as big as the Hulk. On a side note (and this is my take on it), the reason why Pepper Potts wasn't in this cartoon was because, with the exception for Rhodey/War Machine, Iron Man's supporting cast like Happy Hogan and especially Pepper Potts weren't well-known. But now, thanks to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Pepper Potts returned to support Tony as both secretary and has a suit of her own later as Rescue. But at the time, Julia filled in the Pepper role, and a little bit more. Why did the producers didn't use characters like Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan, I'll never know?

 

Star Sapphire, whose spectrum of love is as equal to Green Lantern's strong will (just don't get her on her bad side, or you will talk to the hand, literally)!

Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire (Green Lantern: The Animated Series): From one comic universe to another, we now head to world of DC Comics, but in the world of Green Lantern. Of all the characters in that one universe, the one character I liked the most, but with good reason was Hal Jordan's love interest, Carol Ferris.

Even before becoming a Star Sapphire, Carol Ferris was already beautiful and gorgeous, just like Elizabeth Taylor. Hal is one, lucky guy to have such a lovely woman.

Carol Ferris, the daughter of Carl Ferris who owns Ferris Air, is the love interest of Hal Jordan, Green Lantern of Sector 2814. Her beauty reminds me of the actress that inspired her existence, Elizabeth Taylor. In the comics, taking over the company after her father's passing, Carol, for the most part, has a business relation with Hal while working at Ferris Air, even though she loves him personally. And on some occasions, she sometimes becomes one of Green Lantern's enemies, Star Sapphire. But not in the animated series, though. Even though she didn't appear much in the show, Carol always thinks about her beloved Hal. As for her Star Sapphire persona, her origin is different from that of the comics (but with elements from the later revisions due to "Reality Shaping Shenanigans"). Selected by the spectrum of Love, Carol was sent to planet Zamarron and became a Star Sapphire. In the episode, In Love and War, after becoming a Star Sapphire, the first thing Carol did when becoming one was venting her jealously towards Hal, thinking he was cheating on her with the Zamarron maiden and another Star Sapphire, Ghia'ta, displaying the very type of villainy her comics counterpart displayed in full detail when throwing down at Hal. But thanks to Hal, Carol was reminded that she is the very thing that keeps his light shine the brightest. When the dust settled, Carol relinquished her ring and returned to Earth, reminding Ghia'ta that love cannot be forced, true love is about sacrifice and doing what's best for the one you love. In the episode, Love is a Battlefield, Carol became Star Sapphire once again, when forced to fight against the Red Lantern leader, Atrocitus, by the corrupted Aya and the robot Manhunters. In the assuring fight, Ghia'ta, who now understands true love, gave her life to save Hal and Carol. The Zamarron Queen, Aga'po, offers Carol to relinquish the powers of the Star Sapphire, but Carol decided to keep the ring in honor of Ghia'ta. It is because of this version of Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire that shined the light towards me away from the darkness.

My meme-ish response to Mary Hamilton's fall from grace in Batwoman, when she embraced her inner-Poison Ivy from within and comparing that to Caitlin Snow becoming Killer Frost, which was the catalyst for my friendship journey in the first place, which is, to this day, ongoing, with no resolution anytime soon.

During my journey to understand friendship better, I watched Batwoman and saw Mary Hamilton becoming this universe's new version of Poison Ivy. Her path towards the dark side reminded me of Caitlin Snow becoming Killer Frost, which was the catalyst that got me into this journey in the first place among other things. Then, I was looking at images of the GLTAS version of Star Sapphire and I picture her fighting against this version of Poison Ivy, who I call Poison Mary. This version of Carol is strong in her own right, Star Sapphire or not. If this show had a season 2, she would've joined Hal in his adventures, with a side of romance. Who knows, we might see more villains in that season, including Despero, who uses his third eye that controls people's minds, especially Star Sapphire. But only time will tell. Bottom line. Of all the characters Jennifer Hale voiced, Carol Ferris aka Star Sapphire is my most favorite of them all, not just personally, but also for a fanart's perspective. Star Sapphire's light is almost as bright as that of Green Lantern himself, that's saying something.

And that's all she wrote with Jennifer Hale. I didn't forget the other voices she did like Naomi Hunter from the Metal Gear series, Carol Danvers/Ms. Marvel from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes or some females from some Star Wars video games. I just haven't got around those yet, especially those from Metal Gear Solid. I just went with what I know when growing up, just like any other voice actor I know. Mario and Sonic - Legends Clash (Redo)

It's been a while since Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog crossed paths. Since then,a new discovery has been found in Mario's Universe. Since Mario and Sonic's Universes are parallel,it's only fitting that Mario's Universe get it's Own version of the Chaos Emeralds - The Cosmic Stars. 

These stars were discovered by Rosalina,while on vacation at The Star Road,a Celestial Realm located above the stars. A realm that only a few can reach. Anyway,like with the Chaos Emeralds,each of these 7 Stars come in 7 colors - Blue,Red,Green,White,Cyan,Yellow,and Purple. Also like the Chaos Emeralds,each star has amazing power and when the 7 combine,they can create miracles.

These Cosmic Stars will be coming into play later,but for now our story begins.

In Hyrule,Ganondorf's minions have concocted a plan to revive him using the blood of 5 maidens. They have taken the maidens to Ganonorf's Fortress on Death Mountain. Thankfully,Hyrule's Hero,Link and his protege,the young Heroine-in-Training,Linkle are on the job. Along with Princess Zelda,who occasionally fights alongside our Heroes,Link and Linkle have made it to Ganondorf's Fortress and are in the middle of a fierce battle with Ganondorf's minions,lead by Dark Link,a shadowy doppleganger created using Ganondorf's magic.  

Link rushes into the base to stop the ritual,while Zelda and Linkle handle Dark Link. Inside the Fortress,ling battles through an army of monsters,but eventually finds  Twinrova,who is about to start the ritual. After some banter,the battle begins. Link defeats Twinrova and rescues the girls. Twinrova escapes. Zelda and Linkle enter and inform Link that Dark Link has been defeated,but has also escaped. After the Maidens thank Link,Linkle,and Zelda,everyone heads home,unaware that the spirit of Ganondorf is following them - Link and Zelda more specifically. 

On Sonic's World,Sonic is doing a marathon race though every Zone on South Island. Tails joins Sonic and tells him that he's collecting Chaos Emeralds for research and has found 2,but needs his help in gathering the rest. Sonic tells hid bud "No Sweat" and joins Tails on his Chaos Emerald Hunt,warping into the nearest Special Zone via Lampost.

On Mario's World,Mario and Luigi are in Sarasaland,at Princess Daisy's Castle,fixing the castle pipes. Daisy arrives to check on the Bros. work. When they finish,Daisy invites them to stay for dinner. The Bros. accept the invite.

Within the Koopsa Kingdom,inside Bowser's Castle,the Koopa King gets a visit from Dr. Eggman,who came here using an interdimentional Warp Ring. Bowser is still miffed off at Eggman,due to their last plan together failing,but Dr. Eggman tells Bowser to hear him out.     

Eggman tells Bowser about his new plan. He has invented the Super Mega Famicom Drive,invention that can fuse Universes. He admits that the reason for the previous betrayal is because the 2 Worlds were only big enough for one ruler,but with one huge Fused Universe,they'll be enough room for both of them ruling. Bowser likes the idea,but asks how the Machine is gonna pull it off? Dr. Eggman tells him that each Universe is protected by an Omega-Cosmic Barrier that keeps them apart and should that Barrier be destroyed,the 2 Universes that were separated by said Barrier will be vulnerable to fusion. Then he will use the Machine's Chaos Energy waves to fuse the Universes together.

He concludes that to make this all happen,they'll need Cosmic Power Sources to give the Machine life. 

Bowser,intrigued,asks Dr. Eggman to show him the Machine. Dr. Eggman takes Bowser to his Egg Palace in the Egg Master Zone of his World. The Super Mega Famicom Drive is an awesome machine resting on the roof of Eggman's Egg Palace. Dr. Eggman tells Bowser that he's decided to use the Master Emerald of his World for power,but needs a 2nd power source. Bowser suggests that they can use the Triforce,an artifact from His Universe. He then gets a fun idea - They'll have Mario and Sonic steal them for them. Dr. Eggman loves the idea. and Bowser just knows how they're gonna accomplish it.  

Back in Mario's World,Princess Peach is out on an evening stroll,when suddenly she is Kidnapped by Metal Sonic. As this is going on,Amy Rose is at home singing a pop song that she wrote. Suddenly,Bowser Jr. (in his jr clown car) breaks in and kidnaps Amy. The 2 a brought back to Eggman's Egg Palace,where they instruct Metal and Jr. to deliver the news to Mario and Sonic,so that they can be lured here into their trap.  

On Sonic's World,Sonic and Tails have returned from their Emerald hunt and are hanging at Tails' House. Metal Sonic arrives and informs Sonic that Dr. Eggman has Amy Rose and that if he wants to see her in "Good Condition" He'd best come to The Egg Palace in the Egg Master Zone - Alone. Metal Sonic flies away,with Sonic giving chase.

At the same time this is happening,Bowser Jr. informs The Mario Bros that his Dad has kidnapped Princess Peach and if he wants to see her again,to follow him to the Egg Master Zone. He then tells Mario to leave the "Green Dweeb" behind. Mario follows Bowser Jr.,despite warnings of a trap by Luigi.

Mario follows Bowser Jr. into a Warp Ring,which brings them to the Egg Master Zone. Sonic and Metal Sonic arrive. Mario and Sonic meet once again and team up to fight Metal Sonic and Bowser Jr. They defeat them and race to The Egg Palace to rescue their lady friends.

Once they get to where Amy and Peach are,both get trapped in an electronic field. Bowser and Dr. Eggman appear and reveal their plan. Dr. Eggman robotisizes Mario and Bowser Koopa Curses Sonic into Mecha Mario and Kursed Sonic respectively,horrifying Peach and Amy. Now phase 2 of Bowser and Eggman's plan can begin. 

The next day,on Angel Island,Knuckles the Echidna is guarding the Master Emerald. Bored,Knux begins to rap. His hip-hop song and dance is interrupted by Metal Sonic and Mecha Mario,who have come for the Master Emerald. Knuckles recognizes Mecha Mario as a Robotisized Mario,regardless,Knux needs to fight him,if he intends on stealing the Master Emerald.. 

Mecha Mario and Metal Sonic defeat Knuckles and take the Master Emerald back to Dr. Eggman and Bowser. Meanwhile,Kursed Sonic,Bowser Jr.,and the Koopalings are attacking Hyrule Castle,where the Triforce is. Link,Zelda and Linkle defend the Castle and battle Kursed Sonic and the Koopas. Kursed Sonic is too fast for the Heroes of Hyrule and races toward where the Triforce is (info given to him by bowser).

Kursed Sonic steals the Triforce at great speed and returns to the battlefield to inform the Koopas that he got what they came for. The Bad guys make there escape. Link and Zelda try to go after the them,but Bowser Jr. uses some magic that Kamek taught him to sticks their feet to the ground. The villains get away with the Triforce,unaware that the spirit of Ganondorf has followed them.

Back on the roof of Eggman's Egg Palace,Bowser and Dr. Eggman congratulate their minions and tell Mecha Mario and Kursed Sonic to guard their "Girlfriends" in the dungeon area and that they'll figure out what to do with the girls later. Bowser and Eggman can't wait to destroy the Omega-Cosmic Barrier using their Super Mega Famicom Drive and co-rule their fused Universe.

As the transformed heroes are doing that,Bowser and Eggman put the Master Emerald and Triforce into the Super Mega Famicom Drive. As they do this,a sinister voice makes fun of them. It's the Ganondorf's Spirit. He thinks that Dr. Eggman and Bowser's Universe fusion plan is excellent and that he'd like to help and even be an equal partner and co-ruler.

After thinking it over,Bowser and Eggman refuse,but once Ganondorf possesses Metal Sonic and threatens Eggman's life,Eggman agrees. And for good measure,he then possesses Bowser Jr and causes him pain. It is then that Bowser agrees to the 3-way partnership. 

Ganondorf has Dr. Eggman create a robotic body for him based on the King of Evil's Classic Garudo form. While this is going on,Mecha Mario and Kursed Sonic are guarding an imprisoned Princess Peach and Amy Rose. Amy and Peach try to appeal to Mario and Sonic's true selves,but it fails. Peach gets an idea,she's gonna try to reverse the "curses" placed on the heroes. A surprised Amy asks Peach if she could really do something like that?

Princess Peach confirms this,as she used the same magic to restore the Toads to normal,after Bowser turned them into Bricks,Blocks,and Plants long ago. Peach does her thing and uses her Magic. It takes a long while,but Peach finally,reverts Sonic and Mario back to normal. An amazed Amy praises Princess Peach,who has exhausted her energy using that spell. Peach is alright though. Mario and Sonic free the girls and go after Dr. Eggman and Bowser.   

Meanwhile,Dr. Eggman has finished with Ganondorf's body. Ganondorf's spirit enters the body and can feel his powers being enhanced by the robotic body. Ganondorf is now Metal Ganondorf. On their way to face Bowser and Eggman,the 4 Heroes battle a bunch of Egg Pawns and Egg Robos. Metal Ganondorf is on the roof and is admiring the Super Mega Famicom Drive and has a feeling that with the Triforce powering it,it will do as advertised. He then casts a spell on it. Bowser and Dr. Eggman arrive and asks what Metal Ganondorf was just doing to the Super Mega Famicom Drive?

Metal Ganondorf has changed his mind and that there should only be One ruler of this fused Universe and that's him. He then proceeds to insult Bowser and Dr. Eggman, Eggman kinda figured that Ganondorf would betray them,so he calls out the body's command override program,which will allow Dr. Eggman to control Metal Ganondorf's body. However,nothing happens. Metal Ganondorf just laughs and reveals that he magically deleted that program,shocking Eggman. An angry Bowser is gonna make "Ganondork" play with the help of the Triforce.

But,the moment Bowser touches the Machine he gets knocked back. Bowser wants to know what the hell is up? Metal Ganondorf just laughs and tells the Koopa King that he placed an indestructible barrier to keep the machine safe and that that's what he was doing before Koopa and Eggman showed up. He then tells Both that the barrier can only be shed if he allows it or he is destroyed in battle. Mario,Sonic,Peach,and Amy arrive.

Metal Ganondorf greets the heroes and tells them that they are just in time for the show. Sonic wants to know who Metal Ganondorf is? But the King of Evil ignores the hedgehog and activates the Super Mega Famicom using telekenisis. Mario wants to know what that Machine is. Eggman tells him. The Super Mega Famicom Drive fires out a powerful blast that destroys the Omega Cosmic Barrier. Next,Metal Ganondorf activates a powerful Chaos Energy wave from the Machine that begins the Universe fusion prosess.

Both Segaverse (sonic's universe) and the Nintendoverse (mario's universe) slowly begin to merge.

Mario and Sonic try to destroy the machine,but Metal Ganondorf just knocks them away. He laughs and decides to spare everyone for now and teleports the Heroes and Villains home,so that they can witness the end of their Universes as they know them. After doing this,Metal Ganondorf delivers a telepathic message to his remaining minions announcing that He's back and asks them to join him at his New Palace.

The merger of the Universe is taking shape and Peach's Castle is now in a variation of Green Hill Zone. Both Mario's World and Sonic's World are about to become one.

Mario,Sonic,Luigi,Tails,Knuckles,Donkey Kong,Yoshi,Cream and Cheese,Princess Daisy,The Chaotix,Amy Rose,and Princess Peach  have gathered at the castle,figuring out how to end this crisis. Rosalina arrives and knows about what has transpired. She warns that if the effects of Dr. Eggman's Super Mega Famicom Drive isn't destroyed within 48 Hours,both the Segaverse and Nintendoverse will be permanently fused.

Dr. Eggman and Bowser arrive and interrupt. They mention that Ganondorf has created a barrier to protect the Machine,so the only way to win is to destroy Ganondorf and Then shut down the Super Mega Famicom Drive.  

Suddenly,Link,Princess Zelda,and Linkle show up. The trio introduce themselves to Heroes,though Princess Peach and Mario already know who they are and have met on a few occasions. The Hyrulian Heroes want their Triforce back and will help with the efforts to destroy Ganondorf and to save the Universes.

Bowesr and Eggman want in,they are the only ones that can shut the Super Mega Famicom Drive down,plus they want Payback. Sonic objects,but Peach tells him that they'll need all the help they can get against Ganondorf. 

Meanwhile,Diamond City is in the process of being fused with an unknown City from the Segaverse. At Warioware Inc,Wario and Waluigi are trying to convince Team Dark (shadow,rouge,and omega),who recently arrived due to the merger,to join WarioWare Inc and to help create Microgames. Shadow isn't interested and calls Microgames a waste of time. Omega asks if he can create violent ones? And Rouge asks about the pay?

Back in the Egg Master Zone,know known as the Ganon Empire Zone,Metal Ganondorf,using his enhanced magic,thanks to his new robotic body,creates clones of his greatest common minions. The minions are: Moblins (classic), Moblins (modern),Hinox,Lizalfos,Gibdos,Stalfos,Octorocks,Monster Zoras aka Zolas,Hell Guuma's,Darknuts,Iron Knuckles,Lynels,and Wizzrobes.

The Mario,Sonic,Koopegg Duo,and Hyrulian Teams arrive in a flying ship. They see that the Egg Master Zone is fusing with Dark Land. Metal Ganondorf welcomes everyone to the Ganon Empire Zone and begins his taunts. Eggman doesn't appreciate that name. Ganondorf's minions march toward the Heroes,Dr. Eggman,and Bowser,with the intention of killing them all.

Metal Ganondorf,along with Dark Link and Twinrova,are watching from atop the Egg Palace,know known as Ganon's Palace. While the Heroes are fighting,Dr. Eggman and Bowser sneak away to find a way to destroy Ganondorf's barrier and take back their scheme. 

It's a tough fight,but the Heroes manage to destroy Metal Ganondorf's minions. Metal Ganondorf congratulates the Heroes on defeating his monsters,but tells them that that was only "The Beginning". Metal Ganondorf grows into a Giant and uses his enhanced Magic to create a whole slew of Zelda Bossess.

He creates Aquamentus,Manhandla,Digdogger,Gleeok (4-headded),Gohma,Patra,Mazura aka Horse-Head,Jermafenser aka Helmet-Head,Rebonak,Carock,Gooma,Volvagia aka Barba,Borba the Thunderbird,Armos Knights,Agahnim,Helmasaur King,Mothula,Blind the Thief,Trinex,The Evil Genie,The Grim Creeper and Evil Eagle,Dethl,Bongo Bongo,King Dodongo,Phantom Ganon,Majora,Zant,Stallord,Helmaroc King,Boss Darknut,Ghirahim,Tentalus,Vaati (in monster form),Master Kohga of the Yiga Clan,Stalblind,Knucklemaster,and Yuga.

Joining them are Dark Link and Twinrova. Metal Ganondorf decrees that from this moment forth this New Merged Universe belongs soley to him. He laughs evily as his Minions chant "Hail Ganondorf!" Metal Ganondorf decides that it's time to secure some of these new fused worlds for him. He teleports some of his minions to a couple of these fused Worlds. The Heroes wonder where in the Fused Universe did Metal Ganondorf sent his minions?

Rosalina senses where they are now. She decides to send them there herself and suggests that they recruit the heroes of these Worlds,as they will need all of the help they can get. She'll keep Link,Princess Zelda,and Linkle here to deal with the rest of Metal Ganondorf's army. She mentions that,since most of these monsters are just magical constructs,they are far weaker than their original counterparts,but warns that they are still super deadly,nevertheless.

Sonic and Mario ask about Bowser and Dr. Eggman? Rosalina tells them that she'll let them be for now,due to the even greater threat before them. Sonic and Mario understand. Rosalina gives each Hero,with the exception of the Hyrulian Heroes,a star rod that will teleport them and the recruited heroes back here. Rosalina wishes The Heroes luck and teleports them to the invaded Worlds. Rosalina teleports away. 

Link,Princess Zelda,and Linkle ready for "Round 2". Back at the Fused Diamond City,as Team Wario and Team Dark are negotiating at WarioWare Inc,they are interrupted by Yuga,who's attacking the City.  Yuga Is taken care of by Wario and Team Dark. Wario is angry at the invasion. Rosalina appears and informs Team Wario and Team Dark about the current situation. Both teams agree to stop Metal Ganondorf. Rosalina teleports them to The Ganon Zone,so that they can join the fight. Rosalina teleports away to another World. With Team Dark and Team Wario's help,The Hyrulian Heroes manage to destroy a couple of the left-behind monsters.

On the Fused World of Kid Icarus and Altered Beast,Pit and the Beast Morphing Centurion (who's in wolf mode) have teamed up to battle Bongo Bongo. Neff,the AB Lord of the Underworld,likes what he sees in the Monster,but claims that it's not his own. Lady Palutena appears and gives her Guidance and some snark. Mario appears and helps Pit and the Centurion fight and destroy Bongo Bongo.

Mario then recruits Pit and the Centurion in the fight against Metal Ganondorf. Meanwhile,back in The Ganon Empire Zone,as The Hyrulian Heroes,now joined by Team Dark and Team Wario,fight off Ganondorf's Boss Minions,Dr. Eggman and Bowser are sneaking around the now occupied Egg Palace. Metal Ganondorf has turned all of Eggman's robots into his palace guardians. 

Bowser and Eggman discuss their plan to find away to destroy Metal Ganondorf's Barrier and use the Master Emerald and the Triforce to destroy Ganondorf and take back their plan. They eventually run into Egg Pawns and are instantly saved by Bowser Jr. and Metal Sonic. After the reunion,the 4 head to the roof.

Meanwhile in the Fused World of Hyrule and Golden Axe,Gillius Thunderhead,Tyrus Flare,and Ax Battler are fighting off Stallord and Boss Darknut. They talk about the strange happenings in their World as they fight. The 3 are soon joined by the Knights Hyrule,who prove useless. Donkey Kong arrives and helps even the odds. The Golden Axe Trio are amazed that an animal can have such a fighting spirit. After the heroes destroy their foes,Donkey Kong tells the Trio about Ganondorf and they agree to help stop him.

On the fused World of Punch-Out and Streets of Rage,The City is over run with Ganondorf's monsters,lead by Blind the Theif. Axel Stone,Blaze Fielding,and "Skate" Hunter,and Adam Hunter answer the call to justice. They are soon joined by Little Mac and Doc Louis,his trainer. After some banter,the fight begins. Knuckles arrives to lend a fist.  After destroying Blind and his gang,Knux explains everything and recruits the BareKnuckle Crew and Little Mac in the fight against Ganondorf.

In the Mega-Strange fused World of Game and Watch and Alex Kidd,Mr. Game and Watch,Alex and Stella are talking about how strange their world has become. They are soon attacked by the Knucklemaster,who gets challenged to a game of Janken by Alex,Stella. The Knucklemaster loses and attacks all 3. Sonic arrives and,with Alex,Stella,and GnW's help,defeat the Knucklemaster. The Heroic Hedgehog explains everything and recruits the Trio.

In the World of Shinobi,which hasn't been fused with any Nintendoverse World yet,Jo Musashi is going toe-to-toe in a Ninja duel with Master Kohga and his Yiga Clan. Amy Rose and Princess Peach arrive to help. Eventually,Jo Musashi destroys the Yiga Clan and it's Master. Musashi thanks the Girls for their help. Amy and Peach explains what's happening. As a token of his gratitude and honor,Jo Musashi agrees to help against Ganondorf. 

In the Fused World of Kirby and NIGHTS into Dreams,Kirby,Reala,Meta-Knight,and Knights are fighting against Dethl. Princess Daisy and Luigi arrive. Luigi is scared of Dethl,but Daisy encourages him to be brave. Watching from a far is Wizeman the Wicked and King Dedede,commenting on the battle. After Kirby and Knights destroy Dethl,they are joined by King Dedede and Wizeman,who want to know what's going on? Daisy explains it all. A shocked King Dedede orders both Kirby and Meta-Knight to destroy Ganondorf. Wizeman requests Reala to join them. Reala agrees and promises Knights that they'll settle things After "This Ganondork"is dealt with. And So Luigi and Daisy got 4 New recruits. 

In the fused Worlds of Star Fox and Panser Dragoon,Fox McCloud in his Arwing and Keil Fluge,with The Blue Dragon are battling Mothula and Aquamentus in the air. During the battle,Fox gets contacted by his crew talking about the weird changes their world had gone through. The Duo eventually destroy the Monsters. Fox complements Keil and the 2 chat. Tails soon arrives (flying) and explains the current situation. Both Fox and Keil agree to fight and defeat Ganondorf.

In the cartoony Fused World of Animal Crossing and Billy Hatcher,Isabelle,The Villager,Billy Hatcher and Rolly Roll are fighting the Evil Genie,who they have a tough time beating. Yoshi and Cream and Cheese arrive. Yoshi destroys the Evil Genie's bottle with an Egg. The Genie is "Hopping Mad" and goes on a fast and fierce attack. Thankfully,Yoshi,Isabelle,The Villager,and Billy Hatcher destroy him. After a fun little meeting,Hatcher,Rolly,Isabelle,and The Villager agree to stop the "Bad Guy".

Rosalina arrives in the Cartoony/Animeish Fused World of Splatoon and Jet Set Radio,The Inklings,Beat and Gum are battling some Moblins. Rosalina arrives and tells them the situation. Beat,Gum,and the Inklings agree to help. Rosalina creates a portal for them and wishes them luck.

In the Animish Fused World of ARMS and Virtua Fighter,Min Min,Spring Man,Ribbon Girl,and Twintelle are fighting alongside Akira Yuki,Pai Chan,Jacky Bryant,and Sarah Bryant against Tentalus. The 8 beat the monster and wonder what's going on and where that monster came from. They are visited by Team Chaotix,who explain everything. The 8 Fighters decide to take care of Ganondorf,so that they can get their individual Worlds back. 

Meanwhile,Bowser,Eggman,Bowser Jr.,and Metal Sonic have made it to the Roof of Ganon's Palace,formerly The Egg Palace. Bowser tries using some magic to despell the Barrier,but it fails. Dr. Eggman tells the Koopa King to try again. Meanwhile,Link,Princess Zelda,Linkle,Wario,Waluigi,Shadow,Rouge,and Omega are being overwelmed by the power of Ganondorf's Boss Minions. 

Suddenly,they are joined by The rest of the Heroes and their new recruits. Rosalina appears alongside Lucas from the World of Mother 3,the 2 Main Heroes of Phantasy Star 4 (Alys Brangwin and Chaz Ashley),Marth from the World of Fire Emblem and the Main Hero from Shining Force (Max).

More heroes arrive. Samus and Bayonetta in Samus' Ship,the Hunter,Stanley the Bugman riding Opa-Opa,and Captain Falcon with Sagata Sanshiro in the Blue Falcon. 

So to keep score and to round out the final Roster we have on one side - Metal Ganandorf,Twinrova,Dark Link,Borba the Thunderbird,The Grim Creeper and Evil Eagle,Phantom Ganon,Majora,Zant,Helmaroc King,Ghirahim,and Vaati (in monster form).

Aquamentus,Manhandla,Digdogger,Gleeok,Gohma,Patra,Mazura aka Horse-Head,Jermafenser aka Helmet-Head,Rebonak,Carock,Gooma,Volvagia aka Barba,Armos Knights,Helmasaur King,Mothula,Blind the Thief,Trinex,The Evil Genie,Dethl,Bongo Bongo,King Dodongo,Stallord,,Boss Darknut,Tentalus,Master Kohga of the Yiga Clan,Stalblind,Knucklemaster,and Yuga were all destroyed in battle.

Opposing Metal Ganondorf are - Mario,Luigi,Princess Peach,Princess Daisy,Donkey Kong,Yoshi,Rosalina,Sonic The Hedgehog,Tails,Amy Rose,Knuckles the Echidna,Espio the Chameleon,Vector the Crocodile,Charmy the Bee,Cream the Rabbit and Cheese the Chao,Shadow the Hedgehog,Rouge the Bat,E-123 Omega,Wario,Waluigi,Link,Linkle,Princess Zelda,Pit,The Beast Centurion,Gullius Thunderhead,Tyrus Flare,Ax Battler,Axel Stone,Blaze Fielding, Skate Hunter,Adam Hunter,Little Mac,Alex Kidd,Stella,Mr. Game and Watch,Jo Musashi,Kirby,Meta-Knight,Knights,Reala,Fox McCloud in his Arwing,Keil Fluge and the Blue Dragon,Inklings,Beat,Gum,Billy Hatcher,Rolly Roll,Isabelle,The Villager,Min Min,Spring Man,Ribbon Girl,and Twintelle are fighting alongside Akira Yuki,Pai Chan,Jacky Bryant,Sarah Bryant,Lucas,Alys Brangwin and Chaz Ashley,Marth,Max,Samus Aran,Bayonetta,Opa-Opa,Stanley the Bugman,Captain Falcon,and Sagata Sanshiro.

And we have the 2 Wild cards - Dr. Eggman and Bowser Koopa,who are trying their hardest to break Ganondorf's barrier. The King of evil just mocks their efforts and returns his focus on the battle. 

The fight is one-sided in the Heroes favor,as they have the numbers. After all Monsters are destroyed,Shadow Link and Twinrova escape. The heroes move ahead toward Metal Ganondorf. Metal Ganondorf is amused at the heroes and mocks them. He then gets a fun little idea. He casts a spell on the minds of his enemies and has the Sega Heroes and the Nintendo Heroes fight each other with extreme hatred.

Rosalina,being the Guardian of the Cosmos is immune to Metal Gannondorf's Magic. Before she could try to break the  spell,Metal Ganondorf attacks her. Rosalina grows giant to match Ganondorf's current size. 

After failing to break the Barrier arounf the Super Mega Famicom Drive,Bowser decides to give up and to just take on Ganondorf himself. Bowser grows into Giant Bowser. Dr. Eggman summons his Megaton Death Egg Robot,a giant version of his Death Egg Robot. Bowser Jr. cheers on his Dad and Dr. Eggman. Metal Sonic calls him immature.

So the battle feild looks like this:

The battles are feirce. Metal Ganondorf has had enough of this and delivers powerful blows against Rosalina,Bowser,and Dr. Eggman's Death Egg Robot. The attack causes Bowser to shrink back down to his normal size. It also destroys Dr. Eggman's Megaton Desth Egg Robot. Rosalina is still in this fight,though.

Rosie strikes Metal Ganondorf so hard that it breaks the Evil Spell he had on our Heroes. Metal Ganondorf defeats Rosalina,which causes her to shring back down to her normal size. Once they get their brearings,The Heroes rust toward Metal Ganondorf and the Final Battle begins. 

The Heroes are a bit tired from their fight,but know that they need to keep on fighting to save the Universes. They work together as one unit and manage to topple the Metalic King of Evil.  Metal Ganondorf,tired of playing games,transforms into his Pig-Demon form. He is now Metal Ganon. Metal Ganon easily dispatches each of the heroes. And mocks their "Foolish Efforts".

Knowing that things look hopeless at the moment. Rosalina has an idea. She tells the Heroes that the best way to end this and save the Universes is for Mario,Sonic,and Link to "Go Super". Tails still has the Chaos Emeralds back at his Workshop and leaves to get them. Princess Zelda is unsure if she wants to unleash "That Link" again,but seeing that there is no choice,she leaves to get the item. Rosalina leaves for Star Road to retreve the Cosmic Stars for Mario.

Metal Ganon is having a blast and 3/4 picking apart the heroes. Bowser and Dr. Eggman watch from the roof of the Palace and realise that things are hopeless and hope that Ganon will allow them to rule some part of the new Fused Universe.

Tails returns with the Chaos Emeralds for Sonic,Princess Zelda returns with the Fierce Diety Mask for Link,and Rosalina returns with the Cosmic Stars for Mario. Each of the Heroes use their respective items to achieve their Super Forms. Mario becomes Ultra Mario,Sonic becomes Super Sonic,and Link becomes Fierce Deity Link.

The other Heroes watch in amazement as the new Super-Powered Trio. Bowser and Eggman see this and realise that they still have a chance to reclaim their plan after all. Metal Ganon just laughs and taunts the Super Trio.

Everyone cheers on Ultra Mario,Super Sonic,and FD Link as they take the fight straight to Metal Ganon. The battle is epic and it isn't too long before the Trio combine their powers to Destroy Metal Ganon,with FD Link delivering a final Slash with his Sword. Mario then powers up and blasts Ganondorf's spirit,damaging it. 

Ganondorf's spirit,in a weak and pathetic state,promises revenge and escapes. As the other heroes cheer,Princess Zelda and Knuckles think it's time to "Reclaim Their Stolen Items" and leave for Eggman's Palace.

Meanwhile,Bowser and Dr. Eggman see that Ganondorf's barrier is gone now and make plans to devide the Huge Universe between them. They are then confronted by Knuckles and Pribcess Zelda,who beat back the Baddies. Zelda removes both the Triforce and Master Emerald from the Super Mega Famicom Drive,causing the Chaos Energy Wave to vanish. Knuckles destroys the Machine.

With the Super Mega Famicom Drive destroyed,the 2 Universes quickly start to divide. As a side note - Tingle is sleeping through all of this,in fact he slept through this whole incident. Anyway,once the fusion is fully broken,Rosalina uses the Triforce to create a new Omega Cosmic Barrier,forever seperating the Nintendoverse and Segaverse.

Feeling that this event is best left forgotton,Princess Zelda,uses the Triforce to send Everyone back to their respective Worlds and Universes,with no memory of this event. Rosalina is uneffected by this,however,due to being the Cosmic Guardian and Goddesslike. But she does decide to keep these events secret.  

A night after,in Hyrule,Link joins Princess Zelda and Linkle for Dinner with the King at Hyrule Castle. Link talks about this strange dream he had where They teamed up with Mario and a bunch of other strange characters against a Metalic Ganondorf. Linkle thinks it's a fun dream. Princess Zelda admits that she had a similar one last night. They shrug it off and have dinner.

Back in Sonic's World,in the Segaverse,Sonic and Tails are hanging out outside the Fox's Workshop. Tails is tuning up The Tornado,his Bi-Plane. Both acting like the "Fused Worlds" incident never happened. Sonic wonders what Mario is up to?

Within his HQ in the Egg Empire Zone,Dr. Eggman is thinking up his next evil scheme. He wonders what Bowser is up to and that he hasn't talked with him since their last scheme together,which involved the Death Koopegg and the bridging of their 2 Worlds. 

Back in the Mario World,King Bowser is at his Castle coming up with fun and creative ways to take over the World. He then admits that He kinda misses Dr. Eggman and is regretful that their last scheme together didn't work out. He wants to work with him again,but this time with a scheme that benefits both of them. 

Meanwhile,Mario and Luigi are doing some plumbing at Peach's Castle,to get it ready for the Princess' Formal fonight. Mario wishes they could invite Sonic and Tails to this event,since they havent seen them in a while. But Luigi tells him that reservations are sold out and that the Castle will be too full. But thinks that if they ask Princess Peach,she'll be glad to invite them to the next formal...if they can get Professor E. Gadd's Interdimentional Portal Device working.

Mario likes the idea and the 2 Bros. high five.

Mario and Sonic - Icons Clash (Redo)

Because I'm in the mood,I've decided to flesh-out my 2 Mario/Sonic XOvers, Mario and Sonic - Icons Clash and Mario and Sonic - Legends Clash. I'm gonna start with Icons Clash and then in the next post,will redo Legends Clash. 

Anyway,here we go.

The story begins sometime after Mario and Luigi smashed Bowser's quest for World Domination and rescued Princess Peach once again. A day later,Bowser,Kamek and Bowser Jr. are going on a routine tour of their Koopa Kingdom.when they spot something strange that they've never seen before - A Gold Pipe.  The trio of bad guys go in to investigate it.

Kamek knows of this Pipe and explains that the Gold Pipe is a special pipe that appears randomly every year and that each pipe can lead to a different Universe. Curious,Bowser Jr. wants to know where the pipe leads and enters it,despite some warnings from Kamek. Seeing that they are choiceless,Bowser and Kamek go after Bowser Jr. The Trio of baddies end up in the Egg Empire Zone,home of Dr. Eggman's current Base in the Sonic World.

As the Koopas wonder where they are,they are being spied on by one of Dr. Eggman's robots. At his base,Dr. Eggman and his lackeys,Cubot and Orbot,are watching the Spy Robot's video feed and are curious about who and what these strangers are? So he sends his Robots to capture them,so that he can interrogate them.

Bowser,Kamek,and Jr. destroy the Robots,which forces Eggman himself to interfere. Dr. Eggman confronts the Koopas and demands to know who they are and why have they "invaded" his Empire? Bowser asks if those Robots that attacked were his? Eggman tells him that they were and that he sent them to capture and interrogate them,but it looks like he'll need to do that himself. This ignites a verbal fight between Bowser and Dr. Eggman,which escalated into a psychical one.   

Bowser's strength and the ingenuity of Eggman's Mega Eggmobile. Both take a moment to complement each other's abilities. Dr. Eggman asks Bowser again about who he is and why is he here? The Koopa King introduces himself,Kamek,and Bowser Jr. and that they came though a Golden Warp Pipe from his Koopa Kingdom. Dr. Eggman is curious. He mentions that he's seen 2 before,but completely dismissed them,thinking that they were just fancy colored pipes. 

Bowser and Co. are surprised to learn that there is a 2nd Gold Pipe? Dr. Eggman asks Bowser to show him the Pipe he and his entourage came though? Dr. Eggman,forgetting his manners,finally introduces himself and his Zone.   

The Koopas lead Dr. Eggman to the pipe and explain it's function and origins. Dr. Eggman is impressed and is curious to see where the pipe leads. Bowser uses the Warp Pipe to take Dr. Eggman to his Koopa Kingdom. Eggman isn't too impressed,but does appreciate the gloomy and hellish atmosphere.

Bowser tells Dr. Eggman that if it wasn't for Mario,the Great Hero of this World,his Kingdom would've been the entire Galaxy. Dr. Eggman knows the feeling,as he has his own Heroic Arch-Nemesis - A Speedy Blue Hedgehog called Sonic.

Dr. Eggman and Bowser talk about their Nemesis's and decide to help each other out by conquering their respective Worlds for each other as a token of their new alliance. And then they can bridge the Worlds using a Giant Warp Ring,which he'll create once he completes his Chaos Energy Generator,But that unlike The Gold Pipe,the Warp Ring will remain forever.

Bowser agrees to the idea and asks Eggman to show him that 2nd Gold Pipe. Dr. Eggman says that he found it just miles outside Station Square in his Universe and takes Bowser to it. Moments Later,Bowser and Dr. Eggman drop out of a Gold Pipe and into a strange and seemingly deserted World somewhere in The Mario Universe. This is where that 2nd Gold Pipe took them.

Bowser wonders where they are? Dr. Eggman doesn't really know,but what he Does know that it seems secluded - a perfect place to work in peace. So the 2 decide to make this World their shared base of operations. 

Dr. Eggman says that his Chaos Energy Generator will need the Chaos Emeralds,he's also gonna need them for his new Death Egg,which will be built here. Bowser even though he likes the name "Death Egg",since they're working together,the new Death Egg should have a look and name that combines their attributes.

Dr. Eggman agrees to this. Bowser and Eggman christen their discovered land - The Koopa-Egg Zone. Hours later,Dr. Egman and Bowser had brought their forces to the Koopa-Egg Zone and are working on the New Death Egg,which will be equipped with a Chaos Energy Generator,a generator that will help the villain duo create their Giant Portal Rings.

1 month later,the New Death Egg and it's Chaos Energy Generator is complete. This new Death Egg is shaped like a Spiked Koopa Shell turned right-side up,with Dr. Eggman's face. Inside is an amalgamation of Dr. Eggman's Bases and Bowser's Castles. The Emblem is even a combination of Bowser's and Eggman's.

They call their newest base the Death Koopegg. For the next part of their plan,they are going to need the Chaos Emeralds,which are located in the Special Zones in His Universe. When Dr. Eggman is showing Bowser what the Chaos Emeralds are,Bowser comments on them looking more like Beryl. Dr. Eggman explains that even though,by themselves,the Emeralds hold great power,when the 7 Emeralds are united,they can bring miracles to those who possess them.

Bowser tells Eggman that they need those Emeralds,but need to keep their enemies in the dark about what they are up to And they'll need some better "help" to retrieve these things from the Special Zones. Dr. Eggman has an idea - recruit the Friends of Sonic and Mario and have the 2 Main heroes fight it out,blaming each other for their friends kidnappings,while their friends are doing their dirty work. 

The King of the Koopa's loves the idea and has got the perfect Spell to turn them. But Dr. Eggman wants to robotizise them instead,this leads to a brief argument. Kamek tells the duo that since they are helping each other conquer each others Worlds,why not execute both methods - Robotizise Mario's Friends and Koopa Kurse Sonic's. The 2 Tyrants agree and shake on it. 

Meanwhile,with Kamek's help,Metal Sonic captures Princess Peach at her castle,while leaving a note. He then heads to Sarasaland to capture Princess Daisy. He then captures Wario,who's on a treasure raiding expedition. Next he captures Yoshi and Donkey Kong,who were relaxing on their respective islands. He then captures Luigi,who was working in the Sewers of the Mushroom Kingdom. He then captures Toadette,who's treasure hunting. And finally Metal Sonic captures Waluigi,who was doing nothing in particular.  

At the same time this was happening,Bowser Jr.,as Shadow Mario,and the Cosmic Mario Clones kidnap Amy Rose at her home,Knuckles on Angel Island,Shadow and Rouge during one of their missions for G.U.N.,Tails at his home workshop,and Team Chaotix at their HQ.

All were captured behind Mario and Sonic's backs. As all of this is going on,Sonic is racing through Emerald Hill Zone as exercise,finding it weird that Eggman hasn't caused any trouble for a month and a half and begins to wonder if something is up?

Sonic then comes across a Flicky,who tells Sonic that a character fitting Mario's description has kidnapped Tails from his workshop and and that the kidnapper was heading toward Green Hill Zone on South Island. Sonic races toward Green Hill. The Flicky turns into a Pidgit,who contacts Bowser and tells him that the Hedgehog has taken the bait.

Meanwhile back in the Mushroom Kingdom,Mario is searching for Princess Peach at her castle. Toadsworth and Toad tell Mario that Peach has been kidnapped by Kamek and a Blue Hedgehog,possibly a new recruit of the Koopa Troop. He shows Mario a note left by the Kidnappers which also reveals that they've taken her to Green Hill Zone,which can be accessed by a Gold Pipe outside of the Castle. 

Mario leaves to find the Pipe. Toadsworth wishes him luck.

Back at the Death Koopegg,Dr. Eggman robotisizes Mario's Friends. Bowser has objections about robotisizing Peach,but Dr. Eggman assures him that He'll revert her back to normal once their jobs are done. Despite all of this Bowser is impressed with Eggman's Robotisization technology.        

Bowser then puts the Koopa Kurse on Sonic's friends,turning them into vicious feral-looking slaves of the Koopa King. Dr. Eggman is impressed by Bowser's magic. After the 2 pat each other on the back they send their minions to get the Chaos Emeralds. Though they have Kursed Tails and Mecha Luigi stay behind. Dr. Eggman tells Mecha Luigi that he wants him to broadcast the Big Fight between that Plumber and the Hedgehog. Bowser tells Kursed Tails to make trouble for the 2 heroes,should something come up between them. Both bads tell their servants to stay hidden out of sight.

Mario reaches the Gold Pipe and enters it,leading him to Green Hill Zone in Sonic's Universe. Sonic spots Mario and the confrontation begins. Mecha Luigi and Kursed Tails arrive in secret and Mecha Luigi begins the broadcast. 

Sonic asks Mario what he did to his friend? Mario has no idea what Sonic's talking about and asks where He and Kamek took the Princess? Sonic has no idea who this Kamek is and asks again where he took Tails? Mario tells Sonic that he doesn't know any Tails and that he's no kidnapper.

Sonic has heard enough and attacks Mario,Mario counters Sonic's attacks with his own. As Mario and Sonic fight,Mecha Luigi is broadcasting it to Dr. Eggman and Bowser,who are enjoying the show. Mecha Peach and Kursed Amy return with the White Chaos Emerald. Dr. Eggman takes it and puts it in the Death Koopegg's Power Generator,which is located in the next room.  

Mario and Sonic continue to battle throughout Green Hill Zone. Sonic is impressed that Mario can almost keep up with him. Mario is impressed that Sonic can take a hit. The 2 eventually fall into a gold pipe embedded deep in the ground. 

Dr. Eggman and Bowser order Mecha Luigi and Kursed Tails to follow them. Mecha Wario and Kursed Shadow return with the Yellow Chaos Emerald. The Kursed Chaotix team also return with an emerald - the Blue Chaos Emerald. Eggman and Bowser are pleased at the quick progress of their minions. 

Meanwhile,Mario and Sonic have been warped into a City. But not just any city - New Donk City. The 2 are now in Mario's World. Sonic confuses it with Station Square at first,but Mario corrects him and the fight continues.

Back on the Death Koopegg,As Eggman is putting the recently acquired Chaos Emeralds in the Generator,Kursed Rouge and Mecha Waluigi deliver the Purple Chaos Emerald. And immediately after,Kursed Knuckles and Mecha Donkey Kong return with the Red Chaos Emerald. Bowser happily comments that there's only 2 more to go - the Cyan One and the Green One.

Sonic and Mario battle all over the City,ending up on the rooftops. The battle is a stalemate and Sonic demands to know where he took Tails. Mario tells Sonic that he's still got the Wrong guy and demands where He and Kamek took Princess Peach. Sonic tells Mario that he has no idea what he's goin' on about. 

Mario suddenly takes out a Fire Flower out from his overalls. Sonic wonders what's with the flower. Mario uses turns into Fire Mario and begins to shoot Fire Balls at the speedy Blue Hedgehog. Sonic is able to dodge - but barely.

Back on the Death Koopegg,Dr. Eggman is amazed that Mario is so resourceful. Bowser tells his partner that He doesn't even know the half of it. Mecha Yoshi and Mecha Daisy arrive with the Final 2 Chaos Emeralds,the Green and Cyan ones respectively. Eggman is super pleased and leaves to put the them in the Generator. Bowser tells himself that Phase 2 of the plan will be commencing soon.

Back in New Donk City,Mario and Sonic are still fighting on the Rooftops. Sonic makes Mario lose his powers. Just then from the corner of their eyes,our Heroes spot their onlookers. The 2 stop fighting for a moment to get a closer look at them. The recognize them as Luigi and Tails. Mario looks at Kursed Tails and sees the Mark of Bowser on His forehead and realizes that Bowser has placed a Koopa Kurse on the young fox. While Sonic realizes that Luigi has been Robotisized...The trademark work of Dr. Eggman.

Dr. Eggman contacts Mecha Luigi and tells him that Phase 2 of their plan is about to begin and to return to base for preparations. Mecha Luigi tells Kursed Tails that they will return to base now for Phase 2 of the plan. The 2 modified heroes rush off. 

Mario and Sonic finally figure out that they've been set up by their archfoes. After a bit of a cool-down,the 2 finally introduce themselves. After that,they give chase to their corrupted friends. They catch up with them and chase them into a Portal Ring,where they end up in the Koopa-Egg Zone.

Sonic and Mario get distracted by the Death Koopegg,which allows Mecha Luigi and Kursed Tails to escape. After taking some potshots at the Death Koopegg's design the 2 press forward towards it. Dr. Eggman and Bowser,though a loud speaker,taunts Mario and Sonic and reveals their plan and it's progress.

Dr. Eggman activates the Chaos Energy Generator and the Death Koopegg fires out a beam that creates 2 Massive Warp Rings,one that leads to the Koopa Kingdom and the other that leads to the Eggman Empire Zone. Eggman gloats at the Greatness of The Chaos Generator. He then escapes though the Koopa Kingdom portal with his Robotisized Mario Minions. 

Mario is shocked to see all of his friends and the Wario Duo turned into Robots. Bowser and his Koopa Kursed Sonic Pals attack Mario and Sonic. Sonic is angry that Bowser has "warped" his friends. The Koopa Kursed minions are too much for Mario and Sonic to handle,especially since they just came off of a tough battle with each other. The 2 tired heroes are knocked out.

A few minutes later,the 2 awaken and Bowser and his Kursed Minions and the 2 portals are gone. Sonic figures out that Bowser likely escaped to his World,since Eggman escaped to Mario's. Mario and Sonic decide that before they can assault the Death Koopegg,they'll need to save their friends first. Mario has an idea on how they can do it.

Moments later,after traveling through multiple Gold and Normal Warp Pipes,the 2 arrive at Boosette Woods in Mario's World,which was a creepy forest. Sonic even comments on it. The 2 come to a building,this is the Laboratory of Professor Elvin Gadd.

Mario and Sonic tell Prof. Gadd about the current situation and,luckily,he has the solutions. Prof. Gadd gives Mario his newest invention - The De-Robot Buster,an Arm Cannon that can De-Robotisize. He then gives Sonic a Silver Ring that can break Any Koopa Curse. He also tells them that both devices can detect the Transformed from miles away.

The 2 thank Prof. Gadd and head toward the Mushroom Kingdom,where the Gold Warp Pipe to Green Hill Zone is. The Reach the Pipe and after wishing each other luck,Sonic departs for his world with the Curse Curing Ring. Toad runs toward Mario and informs him about Eggman's assault on their World and that he spotted a robot that looks like Luigi going into the Sewers of the Mushroom Kingdom and if does damage,things will be disastrous. Mario is on his way.

Meanwhile,Dr. Eggman and Metal Sonic has made a temporary residence out of Bowser's Castle and Eggman complains on how hot it is. He then reveals that He likes Bowser,regardless and intends on Robotisizing the Koopa King and making him His 3rd-in-Command of his Expanded Eggman Empire and that with Mecha Bowser and Metal Sonic,Both Universes Will be His.

Back in Sonic's World,Bowser,Jr.,and Kamek are hanging out withing Dr. Eggman's base. Bowser has a hard time working Dr. Eggman's machines and tech. Bowser thinks Eggman is a genius and intends to add him as the Koopa Kingdom as the Chief Scientist,once the he,the Koopa King,overtakes Both Worlds and even Both Universes.

As all of this is going on,Sonic arrives at Green Hill Zone,where he sees the entire Zone being destroyed by an army of RoBirdo,who's got some Goomba's,Snifits,Fire Chomps,and Flying Cheep-Cheeps with them. After taking care of them,he is confronted by Kursed Amy.  

After a bit of a battle,Sonic uses the Silver Ring to cure Amy Rose,turning her back to normal. Amy Rose is happy to see Sonic. Sonic ask Amy where the others are? Unfortunately,Amy can't remember a thing since she and the others were captured. Sonic tells Amy not to worry about it and that he'll figure it out Himself. 

Meanwhile,inside the Sewers of the Mushroom Kingdom,Mario is fighting some Motobugs,Crabmeats,and those Robofly enemies from Sonic 2. After dispatching them,he fights Mecha Luigi. Mario equips the De-Robot Buster and fires it at Mecha Luigi,turning him back into Normal Luigi. After a small reunion,the 2 set off to find their Robotisized friends.

Back on Sonic's World,Sonic and Amy arrive in Emerald Hill Zone,where they see it being destrpyed by Montey Moles,BubBuns,Trouters,and a new recruit to the Koopa Troop,Dookey Kong,a monkey that throws mud. Leading this group is Kursed Tails. Sonic comments that Kursed Tails looks even creepier than the Tails Doll. After a short battle,Tails is hit with the energy from the Silver Ring,returning him to normal.

After a brief reunion,Sonic,Amy,and Tails head to Angel Island. Back in Mario's World,Mario and Luigi are in Sarasaland facing off against Mecha Daisy. Luigi tries to reason with her,but it fails. Mario fires a Blast from his De-Robot Buster at Mecha Daisy and turns her back to normal.

After a reunion,the Trio head for Yoshi's Island to find Yoshi. Dr. Eggman,Metal Sonic,and Mecha Peach (and Cubot and Orbot) are watching the events via Spybot. Eggman is annoyed and admits that Mario is more resourceful than he realized. He contacts the rest of his Robotisized Mario Minions to be on their guard and to avoid being hit with Mario's Arm Cannon. Mecha Peach asks when her turn is coming. Dr. Eggman tells her to be patient and it will come soon - provided that Mario isn't destroyed by the time he makes it to the Koopa Kingdom. 

Back in Sonic's World,on Angel Island,Sonic,Tails and Amy are battling a gang of Dookey Kongs,Dino-Rinos,Pirana Plants (especially the venus fire traps and patooies),and Wigglers. All lead by Kursed Knuckles. After defeating every minion,they fight Kursed Knuckles. The fight begins and Kursed Knuckles overpowers everyone. But Sonic outsmarts him and uses the Silver Ring to turn him back to normal.

After some banter,Sonic wants to save the Chaotix next. Knux tells Sonic to try Isolated Island,as the Trio hangs out there a lot during their off-days. So the 4 head to Isolated Island. Watching from afar is Kamek,who is in a panic and leaves to warn Bowser. 

Back at the Eggman Empire Zone,in Eggman's Base,Bowser and Bowser Jr. are finally learning how to work Eggman's machines. Kamek rushes in and warns Bowser that Sonic has got an Anti-Koopa Curse Ring and is undoing the Koopa's work. Bowser knows that Sonic got that Ring from Prof. E. Gadd and is angry. He tells Kamek to telepathically alert the rest of his Kurst Krew and to Get That Ring Away from that "Annoying Hedgehog". Bowser then wonders how Dr. Eggman is doing?

Meanwhile,in Mario's World,on Yoshi's Island,Mario and Co. are fighting a gang of Dinosaur Badniks lead by Mecha Yoshi. After dispatching the Badniks,Mario,Luigi,and Daisy battle Mecha Yoshi. Mario uses his De-Robot Buster to return Yoshi back to normal.

Yoshi is happy to see everyone. Luigi asks where the other Yoshi's are? Daisy tells them that they likely ran and hid during the attack. Mario informs Yoshi that they must save their Friends from Dr. Eggman's influence. Yoshi understands and joins his friends on their mission. Meanwhile,Sonic,Amy,Tails and Knuckles are battling the Kursed Chaotix on Isolated Island. Sonic Uses the Ring to cure Charmy first,then Vector,then Espio. 

After a brief conversation,the Chaotix agree to help Sonic and Co defeat Bowser. Back in Mario's World,Mario and Co. are rushing through Castle Mario in Mario Land to get to Mecha Wario. They battle various Badniks from the Sonic Game Gear titles. When they get to the throne room,they are attacked by Mecha Wario AND Mecha Waluigi. 

Mario and Co. fight the Wa's and Mario returns them to normal with his De-Robot Buster. Wario and Waluigi want revenge and agree to join Mario and Co. on their quest to defeat Bowser and Dr. Eggman.  Their next stop is Donkey Kong Island,where they fight Jungle Animal Badniks,while Mecha Donkey Kong is beating up the other Kongs - including Diddy. 

Mario saves Diddy Kong and battles Mecha Donkey Kong. Mario eventually returns the Ape to normal. Donkey apologies to Diddy and the other Kongs and wants to make Dr. Eggman pay. Diddy wants to help.

Meanwhile,back on Sonic's World,outside Station Square,Kursed Rouge and Kursed Shadow have found Sonic and Co. and are attacking. Kursed Rouge steals Sonic's Silver Ring. Kursed Shadow uses Chaos Control to defeat the heroes. They are saved by Omega,who's been searching for Shadow and Rouge and senses that something is wrong. He decides to "snap them out of it" by attacking them violently with his blasters,despite Sonic's objections. Amy notices that Rouge has dropped the Ring and retrieves it. She uses it to free Rogue and Shadow.

The Reunion is short lived as Bowser Jr. appears in his Jr. Clown Car and kidnaps Amy. He tells Sonic to come to The Starlight Zone alone if he wants to see her alive again. Sonic tells his friends to chill here and that he'll save Amy. Tails wishes Sonic luck. As Sonic is rushing off to save Amy,Mario has just De-Robotisized Toadette in New Donk City.

Toadette,formally Mecha Toadette,thanks Mario for saving her. Suddenly a small robot appears and projects Dr. Eggman. Dr. Eggman congratulates Mario on his progress and tells him that He still has his Princess and that if he wants her,he can come to the Koopa Kingdom and get her. AND,because he's such a "Good Egg",he's provided some Transportation.

Suddenly,a flying battleship,bearing a resemblance to the Wing Fortress,appears,but it's designed with materials from the Koopa Kingdom. Mario decides to go this one alone and tells everyone to rest up here. Luigi wishes Mario luck as Mario boards the ship. 

Meanwhile,Sonic has arrived at the Starlight Zone,where Bowser Jr. is waiting,outside his Clown Car and - tapping his foot and wagging his finger. Sonic has got a heavy case of Dejavu. Bowser Jr. tells Sonic if he's been waiting for him (and calls him a slow-bo,which the hedgehog resents). He then tells Sonic if he can beat him in a race,he'll get the "Cutie". Sonic confidently accepts. 

Kamek arrives and casts a "speed spell" on Bowser.Jr.,making him as fast as Sonic. The race begins and Bowser Jr. uses underhanded tactics from the get-go. Kamek also sticks around,firing lasers at Sonic as he runs. It's a tough race,but Sonic eventually wins and saves Amy. They see an air ship flying above them,with Bowser Jr. and Kamek boarding it. Sonic quickly stows away on the ship. Amy wishes Sonic luck.

Bowser and Eggman are both frustrated and ready the For the heroes. Mario arrives at Bowser's Castle,while Sonic arrives at Dr. Eggman's HQ after dropping from the air ship. Mario fights through Bowser's Castle against various Badniks. Mario eventually makes it to a familiar bridge over lava,where he meets Mecha Peach and Dr. Eggman in his Eggmobile. Mecha Peach tries to kill Mario..all under Eggman's watch.

The battle is tough,thanks to the upgrades Eggman has given her,but Mario eventually De-Robotisizes her. Eggman curses and attacks Mario,but the Plumber defeats him by destroying the Eggmobile using 8 strong stomps. Not to be humiliated by a measily plumber,Dr. Eggman pushes the Switch at the end of the bridge,which causes it to collapse. Thankfully,Mario,with Peach in his arms,long jumps to the other side of the bridge. Dr. Eggman is angry now.

Metal Sonic arrives and escapes with Dr. Eggman,with the evil scientist promising Doom for both Mario and Sonic soon. Mario and Peach have a small,but happy,reunion. Peach decides to join Mario's efforts to stop Dr. Eggman. Meanwhile,Sonic has infiltrated Eggman's HQ and is confronted by an army of Mario Enemies. Sonic takes care of them and moves ahead. He then is attacked by a Giant Porcupo,who emulates Sonic's moves perfectly. Once the Giant Porcupo is taken care of,Sonic races to the Main Room of the HQ and finds it deserted. He runs into Kamek,who tells him that,Bowser is waiting for him on the roof.

Sonic speeds up to the Roof,where he faces off against Bowser in his Koopa Clown Car. Sonic proves ineffective against the Clown Car and Bowser himself. Bowser starts throwing down the Mecha Koopa's,Sonic gets an idea. He stuns the "Cheep Badnik Wannabe's" and throws them back at the Koopa King,hurting him. Sonic does this 15x before Bowser has had enough. The Koopa King is Reall pissed and is ready to Finish Sonic in a 1-on-1 beat-down.

Before he could get out of his clown car,Bowser gets a communication from Dr. Eggman delivered by Kamek. Dr. Eggman declares Phase 2 of the Plan a failure and suggests a retreat back to the Death Koopegg. Bowser refuses,but is convinced by Kamek to do so. Bowser Jr. soon joins his Father. Bowser promises to make Sonic feel his wrath soon. The trio fly away. Sonic has a hunch where the Koopa Clan is escaping too.  

Back at the Koopa Egg Zone,Bowser and Co. arrive back at the Death Koopegg,where Dr. Eggman is waiting. Bower is furious and wants to "barbecue that Hedgehog". Dr. Eggman tells Bowser to calm down and that they'll have their revenge soon,as they still have the Death Koopegg,the Power of the Chaos Emeralds,And that he's currently working on a Death Vehicle that will destroy Both heroes. Bowser tells Dr. Eggman to get to work and that his Minions will keep the good guys occupied.      

They then agree to create that huge Warp Ring that bridges their Worlds After Sonic and Mario are dealt with,unaware of each others True intentions (both bowser and eggman want to rule both worlds,with eggman working for bowser and bowser being robotisized as eggman's 3rd.).

Back at the Mushroom Kingdom,Mario and friends have gathered. Toadsworth is relieved that Princess Peach is alright. Suddenly,Rosalina appears and tells the Mario Team that She sensed that the Universe will be in great peril soon and that King Bowser Koopa and the one called Dr. Eggman will be the cause.

Using her senses,she pinpoints the location of the Koopa Egg Zone,just southwest of the Galaxy and that she will warp them all there. Toadette decides to stay behind and look after things. Rosalina creates a portal to the Zone and the Mario Team enter it. The moment they arrive,they meet up with Sonic's team,who arrived through the Gold Warp Pipe outside of Station Square.

As the Heroes make there way towards the Death Koopegg,Bowser,though a loud speaker,welcomes the Heroes for making it this far,but tells them that this as as far as they go,because they won't survive the onslaught of the Koopa Troop. Suddenly,being led by every Hammer Brother variant imaginable,is Every Single Boss and Sub-Boss from the Mainline Mario Games. 

It's a battle royale between Team Mario and Sonic and The Koopa Troop. Things go well for the Heroes at first,until the numbers game starts kicking in.  Suddenly,another portal opens - It's Prof. E. Gadd,now equipped with a Portal Maker called - The Super Portal Maker 1.0. Prof. Gadd isn't alone,Toadette and Cream (with cheese) are with them - And they brought a treasure chest full of Power-Ups from Both Worlds. 

With the exceptions of Wario and Waluigi,who claim they don't need power-ups,each Hero takes at least 2 power-ups. Mario and Sonic both take a Fire Flower and a Shield Item. They also take a Super Leaf,they'll need them to reach the Death Koopegg. Peach takes the Water Shield and a Power Turnip (which allows the user to throw vegetables). Amy Rose takes the Hammer Bros. Suit (which she finds cute) and the Super Bell (which she picks after peach describes it's powers).

Luigi takes a Lightning Shield and the Pultergust. Tails takes a Shield and Flood (he found it interesting when E.Gadd told him about it). Daisy takes the Fire Flower and Fire Shield. Knuckles takes a Fire Shield and a Super Mushroom. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong take a Fire Flower and a Boomerang Flower respectively. Charmy takes a Tanooki Suit (which he thought was neat). Vector takes a Rock Mushroom. Espio takes a Double Cherry.  Shadow and Rouge each take a Shield and a Fire and Ice Flower respectively. Rosalina equips a Shield. Yoshi gets a surplus of throwable Eggs.

The Heroes equip their Power-Ups and get back into the battle,where they fare better. Mario and Sonic inform everyone that they'll be going after the "Big Bads". Mario and Sonic equip the Super Leaf,which makes them lose the Fire Flower powers,but they still have The Shield. Sonic calls the Raccoon powers weird,but Mario tells him that kit's the best way to get to the "Nasties in that Flying Egg".

After getting a running start,Mario and Sonic fly toward the Death Koopegg. Bowser is furious and tells Dr. Eggman,who's still working on his Battle Machine,that Mario and "That Pesky Hedgehog" are on their way and asks when this "Machine" will be ready? Eggman tells Bowser to have patience and that it won't be ready for a bit. He tells Bowser to activate the Base's Offensive and Defensive Programs. Dr. Eggman can't wait to turn Bowser into his "mindless" Super Badnik General.

Bowser activates the Bases Defenses and Offenses and says that when Eggman becomes his slave,he'll have him build "Hundreds of Death Koopegg's". Mario and Sonic board the Death Koopegg and make there way inside. Inside the Egg-shaped Fortress is an amalgamation of Koopa Traps and Eggman Traps. The various Minor Enemies are a mix between Bowsers Koopa Troop and Dr. Eggman's Badniks.

Mario and Sonic rush through the Fortress,defeating the Minor Enemies and getting by the Traps,helping each other along the way. They reach an empty room with a shutter. Sonic figures that they hope they're getting close. Before they could do anything,Mecha Sonic,Silver Sonic,and RoboSonic (which I call the sonic robot from sonic 2) ambush them.

The Duo of Heroes are ready to fight. However,Kamek arrives and casts a "Shrinking Spell" on Mario and Sonic. Kamek tells the "Annoying Heroes" to "Have Fun" and leaves laughing evily. Rosalina,sensing the Heroes in trouble leaves the Battlefield for The Death Koopegg. Back inside,the Micro-Heroes are having issues,due to their 3 opponents being bigger than them. Rosalina appears and beats the 3 Robotic Hedgehogs back. She restores Sonic and Mario to normal and tell them that she'll handle these 3 "troublemakers",while they stop Bowser and Dr. Eggman.

Sonic and Mario thank Rosalina and wish her luck. THe Duo press on until they come upon a Door with the Koopa/Eggman Logo on it. Sonic comments on how stupid it looks. Mario believes that they are close now. Suddenly,Bowser Jr. (in his Jr. Clown Car) and Metal Sonic bust in. Bowser Jr. tells the Heroes that Dad and "Dr. Eggy" are busy,but They'll be happy to "play with them".

Mario and Sonic battle Metal Sonic and Bowser Jr. Rosalina is fighting the Trio of Robotic Hedgehog. And the others are fighting and beating the Koopa Troop. Rosalina manages to destroy the Trio and starts to sense an unusual power within this Base and leaves to check it out. Meanwhile,it's a tough fight,but Mario and Sonic defeat their Enemies #2 guys. Unfortunately,Kamek appears once again and uses his Magic turn Metal Sonic into a Ridable Mech Armor for Bowser Jr.

The combined strength of Bowser Jr. and Metal Sonic are too much for the tired heroes,but thanks to some clever and resourceful team work,they manage to defeat the combined menace. After defeat,Metal Sonic transforms back to normal. The Heroes enter the door and are attacked by The Rokoopnik,a massive Battle Machine piloted by both Dr. Eggman and Bowser. The Rokoopnik is a blend of Koopa and the Death Egg Robot.

The exausted Heroes are soundly defeated and captured by the Bowser and Eggman. As the villains are gloating,Sonic interups them by attempting to cause desention between them. It doesn't work. He then asks Eggman why he called Bowser back? Sonic thinks that Dr. Eggman is jealous that the Koopa King was gonna defeat Sonic,something that Dr. Eggman has always failed to do. Mario throws fire to the feul by doubting Bowser can even Beat Sonic in a 1-on-1 fight and thinks that Eggman knew this and was just protecting the Koopa King.

This pisses of Bowser off,but before he could act,a loud alarm goes off and a computerized voice announces that an intruder has infiltrated the Generator Room - where the Chaos Emeralds are. Bowser and Eggman order Kamek,Orbot,and,Cubot take care of the intruder. 

In the Generator Room,Rosalina is inspecting the Chaos Emeralds and is impressed by their beauty and power. She also deduces that the Emeralds are what's giving this "Horrible,Evil Base" it power. Kamek,Cubot,and Orbot arrive and warn Rosalina to back away from the Emeralds or face the wrath of the Koopa-Eggman Team.  Rosalina easily dispatches them and removes the 7 Emeralds from the generator,which causes loud warning alarms and a computerised voice warning that Power has been severed and is suffering a malfunction.

Without the Emeralds the entire Death Koopegg starts to malfunction and lose power. Rosalina leaves to find Mario and Sonic. Bowser and Eggman are livid by the revelation that someone has taken the Chaos Emeralds. Knowing that,without the Emeralds,their base is gonna crash,the 2 prepare to escape in the Rokoopnik,with the intent on leaving the trapped Heroes behind to die with the base. Dr. Eggman promises to reclaim the Emeralds from who ever stole them and make them suffer.

Rosalina arrives with the Emeralds. Bowser is angry that Rosalina has interfered with him again. When asked by Eggman,Boweser explains that Rosalina is the Guardian of the Cosmos in his Universe and one who's helped Mario disrupt his plans on a few occasions. 

Sonic tells Rosalina to throw the Emeralds to him and Mario. Rosalina, knowing that the Emeralds and their great power will be in in good hands with Mario and Sonic,agrees.

Just as the Rokoopnik is about to attack Rosalina,she throws the Chaos Emeralds to Sonic and Mario - turning Sonic into Super Sonic and Mario into Super Mario. The Heroes are freed,fully restored, and are ready to attack. Dr. Eggman wants to make a reteat,but Bowser wants to stay and fight,but is convinced by Eggman to make the escape. The Villian Duo escape in their Rokoopnik,promising revenge. Super Mario and Super Sonic thank Rosalina and chase after their enemies. Rosalina wishes them luck. 

Outside,the battle is over and the Good Guys are triumphant. They watch as the Death Koopegg crash and burn. Amy and Peach hope Mario,Sonic,and Rosalina escaped. As the Rokoopnik is traveling in space,Dr. Eggman and Bowser are blaming Bowser for the destruction of the Death Koopegg and lack of security for the Chaos Emeralds. In his anger,Bowser blerts out his true intentions to make Dr. Eggman his cheif Scientistwhen he takees controll of Both Worlds. This causes Dr. Eggman to reveal His true intentions (to take Both Worlds,Robotisize Bowser and make him his 3rd in command)   

As the 2 are fighting to gain full control of the Rokoopnik,Super Sonic and Super Mario have caught up with them. The 2 decide to settle things after Mario and Sonic are delt with.  And so the Final Battle in space begins,with both sides having no advantage over the other. That changes when Super Mario finds a weak point on the back of the Big Mecha's head.

The Super Duo strike that point 20 times,before the Rokoopnik starts exploding. The Villain's loose control of the Rokoopnik and it comes crashing down on a near by Planet. Before it does though,Kamek suddenly appears and teleports Dr. Eggman and Bowser to safety.

Super Mario and Super Sonic high five each other. A few minutes later,Bowser and Dr. Eggman (with metal sonic,bowser jr.,kamek,cubot,and orbot) are surveying the wreckage that Was the Rokoopnik. Angry at eachother,the 2 begin fighting. Kamek,Metal Sonic,Orbot,Cubot,and Bowser Jr. watch in embarrasment.

Hours later,Back in the Mushroom Kingdom,Mario and Sonic are with their friends near the Gold Pipe that leads back to Green Hill Zone. Both Heroes are back to their Normal Forms. Sonic,Knuckles,Amy,and Tails are carrying the Chaos Emeralds. 

The Heroes talk about their latest adventure. Sonic then tells Mario that it's been cool hanging with Him and wishes they met on better terms. He then tells the plumber that they make a really great team. Mario agrees and promises Sonic that they will meet again one day. The 2 clasp hands. Sonic reveals that The Chaos Emeralds will be "Set Free" back into the Special Zones once he and his friends return to his World. 

The Heroes say their good-byes and promise to meet again someday. Sonic and Friends return to their World via the Gold Warp Pipe. The Warp Pipe disappears.
