Happy 90th Birthday to Carol Burnett!!

 

Carol Burnett, actress, comedienne, all around nice lady, old enough to be either my aunt or my grandmother. Her laughter and joy brings happiness for all time!

Today, we celebrate a national treasure. One who has been tickling our funny bones since the 1960s, and one of a few dozen people who, in spite of all the bad stuff happening in the world, always brings joy and happiness in her wake. I am, of course, referring to the one, the only, Carol Burnett. From 1967 to 1978 (if I got the year correct), The Carol Burnett Show brought laughter to all the living rooms all over the world, not only from Carol herself, but also the likes of Lyle Waggoner, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, Tim Conway and so on and so forth. Whether it's segments like Tudball and Wiggins, The Family (which spun off into Mama's Family), parody versions of our favorite movies, the musical numbers, the various guest stars that appear, and not to mention all the questions we always ask Carol before the show, including asking her to do the Tarzan yell, which she use to do when she use to play with her cousin when they were very, very young. Not to mention tugging her left ear after every show, which was a tribute to her grandmother.

Even after her show ended, Carol was pretty much busy with everything else, including movies, when she played Miss Hannigan in the original 80s version of Annie.

Well, aside from all the accolades she achieved, including 6 Primetime Emmys, 7 Golden Globes, 3 Tony Awards, 3 Grammy Awards and having a Lifetime Achievement Award named after her, there is not much I can think of when talking about Carol Burnett, other than the fact that, although she is adored all over the world, I think of Carol as either a fun aunt or a grandmother. In fact, Carol is everybody's fun aunt and/or grandmother.

In short, Carol Burnett's laughter and joy can light out the darkness everyday and this world needs it and rightfully so.

Jason's Gallery - Ami Mizuno Sexy Double Feature!

Behold! My latest artwork, and a bit digital, I might add. This time around, it is my favorite brainy Sailor Guardian, Ami Mizuno aka Sailor Mercury, coming out of her shell and embracing her femininity, as she reaches adulthood. Enjoy!

For someone who is very smart and gentle, Ami sure knows how to overcome her shyness and win over her possible boyfriend, let alone the gentle mariner of trust, Cye Mouri, and does it a way that is completely out of her comfort zone. And quite apparently, she ain't so shy now. Cye is lucky to have smart and sexiful girl like her. Not afraid to face the unknown, let alone in the bedroom.

Up in the Backwoods in the Sky - RIP Bushwhacker Butch

This just in, especially in the world of professional wrestling

Robert Miller, known to us wrestling fans as Bushwhacker Butch, has died on April 2nd, 2023. He was 78 years old. Although having many titles in other wrestling organizations (which is too big for me to write down anyway), Miller, who was known as Butch, along with Brian Wickens, who was his kayfabe cousin Luke, were known as the Bushwhackers back in the days of the WWF. Known for their crazy antics, especially being wild and crazy from the New Zealand backwoods, the Bushwhackers were known for moving arms up and down as the walk, commonly known as the Bushwhacker Walk and licking the faces of the fans, their foes or each other. Crazy fan favorites, the complete opposite to their time in the other organizations when they were known as either the New Zealand Kiwis or the Sheepherders, who were more violent and aggressive than the fun loving Bushwhackers. They continue their run in the WWF until 1996.

There is a lot to say about the Bushwhackers, but there is a reason Wikipedia exists. And on a side note, Luke and Butch made an appearance on the Family Matters episode, Psycho Twins, which they wrestled Carl and Steve after the real Psycho Twins drank Steve's experimental "Snooze Juice", which didn't go so well, especially, in this world, the Bushwhackers has strong distain to cops (in this episode, anyway).

Years later, after so many neck injuries, Miller retired from wrestling in 2001 and did sporadically appear in many wrestling events from time to time until his death.  

Sorry for the short blog, but it's been so long since we have seen the Bushwhackers in action. They may have never won tag team gold in WWE, but we will never forget their antics in and out of the ring. We will wave our arms and lick the faces for eternity for you. Godspeed, Butch, and thank you for the memories, even if they are a bit wild.
