GAME OVER, MAN! - The Fall of Bill Paxton

This just in.

Bill Paxton, the actor who made the phrase, "GAME OVER, MAN! GAME OVER!", synonymous with pop culture, has died on February 25, 2017 due to (surprise, surprise) complications due to surgery, the same botched surgery that took the lives of Tony Jay, James Avery, Lee "Hawk" Reherman and Joan Rivers. Paxton as we all know, is known for many things, not only chasing tornadoes like in Twister, being a goofball to a bunch of nerds in Weird Science, being a car salesman pretending to be a spy in True Lies, but to many like myself, he was known as the very person who was killed by an Alien, a Predator and a Terminator. Did I forget to mention he appeared on Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, last time I checked?

Look, the point is, this is why I am afraid to go under the knife. Because I am afraid that I will end up like those people I have mentioned, because what if that surgeon was all Dr. Kevorkian and kill you on the operating table, even if the surgery was a success. When I heard that he died, I thought to myself like his character Hudson from Aliens and said this, "God, this can't be happening, man! This can't be happening!" But after hearing about this, it just happened. Other than all the other hoo-ha that I am hearing, 2017 has gone to a rotten start, especially when another piece of nostalgia dies because of crooked surgery. Here's to you, Bill Paxton. You may have been somewhat of a colorful character, but your banter and sarcastic wit will live on in our hearts for all eternity. Godspeed.

Jason's Gallery - Black History Month Collection

Hey there, Toonsters!

Since we are in February, and this is Black History Month, I present to you my mini fanart collection, featuring the following characters that represents Black History month and all its glory.

"The Black Panther is ready to stalk again!"

First off, here we have T'Challa aka The Black Panther, the ruler of the African nation of Wakanda and one of the card carrying members of The Avengers, whose nation is one of the rarest places that contains lots and lots of Vibranium, one of the rarest metals in the world, next to Adamantium. As his name provides, this is one panther who will stalk against those who threaten his homeland or the entire world for that matter. So if I were you, stay clear of Wakanda cause if you cause trouble there, the Black Panther won't hesitate to pounce.

"I am one with the wind and I am mother nature personified. I am Storm."

Next up, here we have the Mistress of the Elements herself, Ororo Munroe aka Storm from the X-Men. Since her first appearance in Giant Size X-Men in 1975, Storm has proven to be a strong, vibrant leader to the X-Men's cause for Human/Mutant equality. Indeed, a very strong black woman, and a proud one, too.

"The name's Static, and I'll put a shock to your system!"

And finally, here we have Virgil Ovid Hawkins aka Static. Even though I never read the Static Shock comics, but it was the cartoon based on the comic that introduced me to Static. For a kid from Dakota, whose older sister was bratty and father was a social worker, Static's life wasn't easy, but he always keeps a positive outlook in life, whether it's battling Bang-Babies or real life issues like guns, violence, racism and so on and so forth. Wish he appeared on The Flash, so he could pal around with not just Barry, but also Cisco, too. That would be something.

And there you have it. I may not be down with this whole Black Lives Matter thing, but if you do Black History Month right, all lives truly matter. And these characters are examples of that, even if they are fictional. Stay frosty, my friends. Fight the Power!

Solutions For The Toxic Pool

Adult Swim sucks, there's no denying it and Toonami is nothing compared to what it used to be. But the hugest problem with Adult (a-duh) Swim is the fact that it just doesn't belong on Cartoon Network.

Now, I've come up with 3 solutions for this Toxic Pool problem (so listen up, Christina Miller!):

1 - Take it off Cartoon Network and have it timeshare with TBS instead. TBS is a much Much better fit for Adult Swim's programming.

2 - Give Adult Swim it's own stand-alone Network. After all, Adult Swim Is classified as a Network now. Network Timesharing is a stupid concept anyway.

And 3 - Get rid of it Completely. Yeah, this one's highly unlikely at this point, but a guy can dream can't he? XD

Anyway, these are the 3 most logical solutions to handle Adult Swim. But, you ask, if Turner does all this, what the hell replaces it on Cartoon Network? Thankfully, I have a solution for this as well: A 4-5 Hour DC Nation block.

Now this block would air all the DC Animated shows: Past and Present. The newer shows will be TV-PG and under, making them a perfect fit for Cartoon Network.

This block would air the following shows: Superman: the Animated Series, Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, Teen Titans (the original), Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, The Batman, Legion of Super Heroes, Batman: Brave and the Bold, Young Justice, Green Lantern , Beware The Batman, and Justice League Action (I think that's what the new justice league show is called).

I'll be implementing these ideas in my upcoming Cartoon Network line-up, so stay tuned for that.

Well, I've given my Two-Cents on this matter.

See Ya,Space Cowboy!
