Remembering WWF Hasbro Figure Line

If you were a Wrestling fan way back in the day,you likely owned some figures from Hasbro's WWF Line. The line began in 1990 and lasted until mid-1994 with the Green Card series.

Each of the figures were well made and had their own Action Features. Infact, there were multiple varients of the WWF's most popular stars, such as Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior.

The line ended abruptly, when Hasbro lost the licence in 1994. An Orange Card series was planned, but was never produced. The only remainder of this line were some prototype pics.

This was a great line, but it did have one major flaw. In terms of roster Hasbro was late by a year or two, with their "Macho Man" Randy Savage figures being proof of that. Another perfect example was that there were figures released of Wrestlers that were no longer with the company. The Dusty Rhodes figure released in 1991 during the 2nd wave immediatly comes to mind.

Reguardless,I love this Toyline and have several figures from it myself. It's a shame this line ended so suddenly,it was truely great. So today,I'm gonna take a look at what could have been if Hasbro kept the WWF Licence. Hypathetical Figure Waves as it were.

But,before I do that. Right now,I'm gonna recap the line for ya.

A Shawn Michaels with a Spring-Loaded Punch
A Brutus Beefcake with Red and Yellow 'Mega Maniacs' Tights.

The Rythem and Blues Pack was never released, due to Honkey Tonk Man leaving the WWF and Greg Valentine abandoning the gimmick.

The Hart Foundation broke up before the Figure Pack could be released. Plus,Jim Neidhart was taking time off from Television.

By the time The Tugboat Figure was being produced, the Character had turned Heel and became Typhoon.

Ultimate Warrior left the WWF while his "Chest Beating Figure" was produced. Rumor has it that it was an 'Ultimate Maniacs' Version of the Warrior.

Beefcake also left the WWF before his Figure was produced.

As for Shawn Micheals..who knows.
---------------------------------------
WWF Hasbro Rings

Besides Action Figs,Hasbro Also created 5 Wrestling Rings. Each of these Rings came with the WWF World Championship. The ONLY Belt created for this line.
