 The Retro Rebellion Presents: Disney Theories

Theories about our favorite Franchises have been thrown out there for as long as the internet has been around. We all love theories,so I figured,how about some about our favorite Disney (and pixar) franchises.

Now to keep things short,in whats to be a very long post,I'm only gonna be focusing on Disney's Animated stuff. 

Now let's get started.

Ariel Has God Blood 

Let's start with something common.  It's said that King Triton,Ariel's father is the Son of Poseiden,Greek God of the Sea,thus making the Red-headed Princess and her Sisters,Demi-Gods. This theory holds merit,as not only is King Triton share a name with Poseiden's Son,but he has a Grandfather named Neptune,named after the Roman God of the Sea. 

Now there are conflicting stories as to whether or they're the same god or 2 seperate entities. If the former is true,then King Triton may be indeed the Son of Poseiden. But if the latter is true,then King Triton isn't Poseiden's Son,but the Son of the Child of Neptune.

Reguardless of which one of these is true,Ariel,her Sisters,and King Triton may have divine blood running through them.

I think there might be some credibility to this. As King Triton himself is a pretty strong guy. And his Super Powerful Trident might've once belonged to the gods. Ariel herself is shown to be strong as well.

Anyway,this brings us to our next Little Mermaid theory and one that's kinda related to this one.

Ursula and King Triton are Related

There is Theory going around that states that Ursula,the Evil Sea Witch and King Triton are either Cousins or Siblings. This theory stems from an early draft for the Movie,where Ursula was the Sister of King Triton,exiled from the Palace for doing malicious things. But they became unrelated,in the final draft.

This concept was revisited in various stage play adaptions of the Movie,but nowhere else. There were also some theories that say that Ursula and Triton were/are Cousins. Though this one isn't as widespread as the 'Siblings' theory.

If the Siblings Theory is true and the Triton/Poseiden/Neptune Theory is true,then Ursula herself has divine blood running through her as well.

This theory could be true,but giving that Ursula seems to be of a different "Mer" species,I kinda doubt it. Unless Ursula was adopted,but I doubt it. And even if she was,she woudn't have that divine blood that her adoptive family does.

The Destroyed and Sunken Ship Belonged to King Agnarr and Queen Iduna

So it goes like this,The sunken ship in the Little Mermaid is suposedly the same Ship that once belonged to Iduna and Agnarr. And that their ship sunk near Denmark,where The Little Mermaid take place. It's unclear wether or not this is true.

Scar is Adopted

There's reason to believe that Scar is adopted. 1 - He looks very little like his parents and his Brother,Mufasa. And 2 - He has different fur color than moat of the lions in the pridelands.

So there's reason to believe that Scar is adopted. And if that's the case,then Scar was Never in-line for,or has a right to,the Throne,all due to him not being of Royal Blood. It Also explains why Simba was chosen as Mufasa's successor,even though Scar was older and more experienced as a leader.

The Mystery of Andy's Hat

Toy Story's Andy is rarely seen without his Cowboy hat...especially during playtime. Take a good look at it. Notice anything strange? That's right,the hat is shaped like Woody's,but it's colored like Jessie's. 

But why is this? I have a theory..5,infact. #1 - Woody's Hat (in-universe) was originally redish,but was changed during the shows run. And that Andy's hat was made early on in the Woody's Round-Up Merch Line.

#2 - The Hat color was an (in-universe) mistake. The hat manufacturer simply screwed-up and corrected themselves with later hats.

#3 - The Hat color was an (irl) mistake by Pixar themselves. And when Pixar realised their error,they decided to say "Screw It" and just let it be. It didn't hurt the movie in anyway,so it was alright.

#4 - Woody's Hat color (in-univers or in real life)Was gonna be Red,but was changed to Brown during late-production. And that Andy's hat color was an error all along.

And #4 - It belonged to an unproduced/unreleased Woody's Round-Up character. The show was canned pre-maturely,so who's to say that there weren't more episodes and characters planned. And that all that's left of this unreleased character was a prematurely produced hat. Kinda interesting,if you think about it.

Aladdin takes place in the Far Far Future.

There's this weird,but believable,theory that Aladdin doesn't take place in the past,but in an post-apocolyptic future.This is kinda believable due to the Genie,who makes references to,and conjures up things from the Modern Era (well,modern for '92,at least)

How would he know of such things if he was trapped in the lamp for 10,000 years Aladdin's time,which supposedly takes place in the past? The Genie is either has omega clairvoyance (the ability to see into all the various eras of the future) OR he was trapped in Present Time,making the movie take place in the future..a post-apocalyptic future,where civilization was forced to start over. That would explain how he knows about the "Modern" stuff.

Interesting theory with some merit.

Boo from Monsters Inc. is The Old Witch from Brave.

There's another big theory that Boo from Monsters Inc. is the Witch from Brave. Something about Adult Boo reverse-engineering a Door from Monsters Inc. to find Sully,but ends up trapped in medieval Scotland instead,where she learned magic and became a well known witch. She has never rally given up on finding her long-lost friend.

It's a strange theory,and may seem far-fetched. But,since the Witch looks like an elderly version of Boo,this could be true.

Snow White's Prince is either The Grim Reaper or a Grim Reaper in-training.

Theory has it that Snow White actually Did die from that Poison Apple and that the Prince was,in reality either a Reaper In-Training or The Grim Reaper himself,come to take the Princess away to the land of the dead. 

I think this theory is crazy,but at the same time, kinda cool.

The Wicked Queen and Mother Gothel are the same person.

They share similar facial features and have daggers that look alike,but Tangled: The Series has debunked this theory. Even though Gothel was born Centuries before the events of Tangled and could theoretically hail from Snow White's time,Tangled: the Series says otherwise through Gothel's origin story.

Plus,Disney explicitly stated that The Wicked Queen Died in Snow White. So Theory Debunked.

Jane Porter is a descendant of Belle 

Rumor has it that Jane from Tarzan is descended from Belle from Beauty and tbe Beast. This comes from the fact that Jane and Belle look a bit alike And that Jane owns a tea set that resembles Mrs. Potts and Chip.

I think this might be just a coincidence. But,who knows.

Tarzan's Lost Relations.

Tarzan is Elsa and Anna's long lost little brother,born from King Agnarr and Queen Aduna,who got stranded in Africa on their way home from wherever they were. Frozen II and various Canon materials have fully debunked these theories.

The same can be said about Tarzan's relationship wkth Rapunzel. They aren't family in any way. Tangled the Series and various Tangled materials strongly confirm this.

However,There's a theory that Raps Is a cousin of Anna and Elsa. Unlike tbe Tarzan theories,this one could actually be true,as there is Nothing in Official Materials stating otherwise. They never confirm things either,but this familial connection is far more plausable than the ones with Tarzan.

Bob Iger is Related to Satan

This theory has been proven true in recent years. He is Satan's Cousin. I mean,Just look at his record of running Disney. It's evil and reverse on how Walt,Roy,or Eisner would run things. He's a Devil in the guise of a human. In fact,his real name is Beelzebob Oger.
