This is a Retro Rebellion Special Report
John Witherspoon, famed actor and comedian, has died on October 29th, 2019. He was 77 years old. Although he appeared in such movies as Boomerang with Eddie Murphy and co-starred with Ice Cube in the Friday movie series, one of his most famous roles was on television from doing voice work on The Boondocks, to being John "Pops" Williams on the WB sitcom, The Wayans Bros. which he co-starred with Shawn and Marlon Wayans. As a comedian, Witherspoon was known for many things, his funny wit, his impression of Mick Jagger, dressing tacky like it was exploded in a wallpaper factory, his singing and dancing and not to mention choice of words, including his most favorite, "Coordinate". For instance, "You see, brother, you gotta COORDINATE!" No word on the cause of his death. But one thing is for sure, John Witherspoon definitely left an impression, especially with so much rewatches of The Wayans Bros. He would've made a great Sebastian if they was any Little Mermaid related media out there for him. But that is not to be now.
Godspeed, Pops! The most tackiest yet entertaining man of all time. Be at peace. Bang, Bang, Bang, my friend.

The Wayans Bros. was a fun show (most of the time). Sad to find out that Pops has died. He'll be missed
Same here. He made the word "COORDINATE" a bit fun and awesome.
