And Another VA has been hit by the Reaper. It's with great sadness and devastation that I announce the loss of one of the greatest Voice Actors of all time,Robert Axelrod.
For those not in the know,Robert Axelrod worked on many Saban projects in the 80's and 90's and has worked on some non-saban shows as well. Axelrod is best known as the voice of Lord Zedd from Power Rangers.
Aside from being an Icon in his field,Axelrod was a decent man. He loved his work,as well as the fans. The man was always looking forward to meeting his fans.
Axelrod died in his L.A. home. He was 70.

He was not just Lord Zedd, but he was also Finster, some of the monsters of the day like Eye Guy and Goo Fish, he was one of the scientists from the 1988 remake of The Blob, Microchip (the dude who assists The Punisher) from the 90s Spider-Man cartoon and he did voicework for Digimon, including voicing Armadillomon and especially Wizardmon. He will be missed. Be at peace. :(
