The Last Train to Clarksville in the Sky - RIP Peter Tork

This just in.

Peter Tork, one half of the musical group known as The Monkees, has died due to complications from adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare form of cancer. He was 77 years old.

Tork, as we know, was the keyboardist and bass guitarist of The Monkees. He, along with Mickey Dolenz (aka the first voice of Arthur from The Tick for season 1 only), Mike Nesmith and the late Davy Jones, not only were one of the most recognizable names in rock and pop music, but had a TV show that lasted 2 seasons from 1966 to 1968. Tork survived with his 4th wife and 3 children. He will be missed. From taking that Last Train to Clarksville to becoming a Daydream Believer, the music of the Monkees and their antics in their show will never be forgotten, especially with Peter Tork. At least he's back together with Davy. Godspeed, Mr. Tork. Be at peace.
