Fantasy WrestleMania Card.

Today is WrestleMania Day,in-fact WrestleMania will be a 2-Day event this year. So to celebrate,I'm gonna be putting together My own Personal Fantasy WrestleMania Card, featuring WWE Superstars,Legends, and Hall of Famers.

Now there are no limits for selections. Meaning, I can use Wrestlers who are either Dead,Retired,or Working for another Wrestling Promotion. The Only rule is that they Must've been a WWE Superstar at some point. So guys like Harlem Heat,Various Low-Tier Members of the nWo,Ole Anderson,Nikita Koloff, etc will Not be part of this list. Same goes for the Commentators who never stepped foot into WWE.

Also, because every match on this Fantasy Card will be Dream Matches,I've decided to forgo having any Titles on the line. So no Championship Matches.

Anyway,on with that out of the way, let's get things started.

Host(s): Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.

Interviewer(s): "Mean" Gene Okerland,Todd Pettingil,and Kayla Braxton

Match 6: The Ultimate Warrior v Jake "The Snake" Roberts (the match that Never officially happened, but I wanted to happen)

Match 7: Triple Threat Tag Match - Edge and Christian v The Outsiders (Scott Hall and Kevin Nash) v Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero. (Battle of The Best Buddy Tag Teams)

Match 10: 10-Man Tag - The DX Army (Triple H,Shawn Michaels,X-Pac,"Road Dawg" Jesse James, and "Badass" Billy Gunn) v The Horsemen ("Nature Boy" Ric Flair,"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson,"The Crippler" Chris Benoit,"Man of 1000 Holds" Dean Melenko, and Barry Windham)

Special Attraction #2: Piper's Pit - Guest: "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes.

Match 11: Steel Cage Match - "The Animal" Dave Batista v "The Beast" Brock Lesnar (Retro rules apply. Meaning, that the only way to win is to either climb out of the cage or go through the cage door)

Match 12: Undertaker v Sting.

Penultimate Match: "Macho Man" Randy Savage v The Rock (Winner becomes the Undisputed "Most Electrifing Man In Sports Entertainment")

Main Event: 5-Way Generation Leader Battle - Bruno Sammartino v Hulk Hogan v Bret "Hitman" Hart v "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v John Cena.

This was a tough list and I had to ommit some cool match ideas. I might do Fantasy Cards for King of The Ring,SummerSlam,Survivor Series,Royal Rumble,Elimination Chamber, and Money in the Bank sometime.

Anyway,I'm done for today. Hope everyone enjoys WrestleMania 37. So until Next Time..

Creating An Old-School Hero Dream Team (Live-Action)

Today,we're gonna do something a bit different. I'm gonna be creating a Live Action Old-School Hero Dream Team. Why? Just Because! Anyway, what I'm gonna be doing is list some Live-Action TV and Movie Characters from the Best Decades and giving them positions on the team.

One more thing. Jase,I'd like you to make your own Old-School Hero team. You like doing stuff like this,so it shouldn't be trouble for you. Now let's get to work.

Mr. Miyagi: The Wise and humorous Secondary Mentor of the Team.

Cordel Walker (Chuck Norris Version): The Team Leader. The Greatest Texas Ranger and an Awesome Martial Arts Expert.

Tommy Oliver:  The 2nd In-Command. Uses his Master Morpher to transform into one of 4 Power Ranger forms.

Hercules (Kevin Sorbo Version): The Team's Strongman.

Iolaus: Hercules' Partner and Best Friend.

Xena: The Warrior Princess.  Master of the Chakram. Great Swordfighter.

Gabrielle: Xena's Partner and Best Friend. Master of both the Staff And the Sais.

Joxer The Mighty: He's a bit of a Goof, but he means well and has proven himself on various occasions.

Mr.T: The Team Toughguy. He Pitties All Fools.

Emmet "Doc" Brown: Great Scott! He's the Team Genius/Inventer.

Weird Al Yankovic: The King of Parodies is the Team "Fun Guy". A Master of Disguise, with a Magic Accordion.

"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels: The Rogue of the Team. An Awesome Athlete, but is Egocentric.

Sting: The Loner. He comes and goes as he pleases. Helping out when things seem dire.

Other Allies include: Tim "The Toolman" Taylor,Al Borland,Tim Taylor,Toolgirl Heidi,Capt. Jean-Luc Picard and the Crew of the Enterprise,Commander Sisko and the Crew of DS9,Yoda,Luke Skywalker,Han Solo,Chewbacca,Leia,Dan LaRusso,Marty McFly,The Ghostbusters,The Power Rangers,Salmoneus,Shaq,Michael Knight and Kitt,MacGyver,"Renagade" Reno Raines,Rocky Balboa,Dr.Demento,The WWF Superstars,The WCW Superstars,The Fonz,Sabrina Spellman,Steve Urkle,and Autolycus.

And those are my picks for an Old-School Super Hero Team of Live-Action characters. I may do American Animated,Anime, and Video Game versions in the future. Oh,and remember Jase,If you wanna do this, your choices need to be characters from the 70's,80's,and 90's. Early 2000's is ok too,but mainly those 3 aformentioned decades.

Until Next Time,

Stay Gold,Space Cowboys.

Voice Actors Overlooked! - A Retro Rebellion Exclusive

For as long as animation (or any form of media like gaming) exists, there has been one true constant, especially in bring our favorite characters to life (besides pen and paper), and that is the art of voice acting. Voice acting goes way back in in the early 1900s, with the advent of radio. Originally done for radio serials, news, weather, bible stuff and so forth, it was not until 1928 with the first Mickey Mouse cartoon done with sound and voices, Steamboat Willie. And since then, voice acting slowly started to get steam, especially done by legendary voice actors, such as Daws Butler, June Foray and especially the Man of a Thousand Voices, Mel Blanc. And for the next several decades, voice actors come in all shapes and sizes, especially with those who brought our favorite characters to life, including Neil Ross, Cam Clarke, B.J. Ward, Casey Kasem, Don Messick, Jim Cummings, Dan Gilvezan, Frank Welker, Larry Kenney, Tara Strong, Kevin Conroy, Jodi Benson, Peter Cullen, and so on and so forth. And it is not just in the good ol' U.S. of A, it is in other countries like Japan with Seiyuu like Kotono Mitsuishi, Aya Hisakawa, Toru Furuya and Takeshi Kusao and even Canada has awesome voice actors like Scott McNeil, Michael Donovan, Ward Perry, Matt Hill, Terri Hawkes, Susan Roman, Katie Griffin, Linda Ballantyne, Lucas Gilbertson, Mark Hildreth, Andrew Francis and Mark Gatha. When all these voice actors voice their characters, they are not just the characters' voices, they are the characters and that is why we loved them very much, especially with Kevin Conroy as Batman, Jodi Benson as Ariel and especially Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime. But, there is one, little, itty-bitty problem, they are being overlooked.

You see, voice actors, as much as we like them so, are not, according to the news media, well known, like all the regular actors, sports athletes, music makers and other famous people combined.  They are often ignored, pushed aside, or not mentioned at all, even if some pass away like Susan Aceron, Norm Spencer and the aforementioned June Foray and Mel Blanc (even if some news outlets mentioned the two). In short, unlike all famous people, voice actors don't have the same admiration and respect as they do. While regular actors have all the glitz and glamour, voice actors are normal, decent people. If you look beyond their physical appearances and hear their performances with their voices, you know, they deserve that same admiration and respect as all famous people combined.

But, I am planning to bring justice for all voice actors. You see, one of the legendary voice actors, Michael Bell, is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. I talked to him on Facebook long ago about this issue and he agrees with me about it. Shoot, I even wrote this letter to all the news outlets, which I didn't send it yet, but I think you take a look before I make my move or rewrite to make it better. This was written after Susan Aceron's passing.

Here is what you have to do. If you have social media like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and so forth, leave a message to them with the hashtag, #RespectVoiceActors, to show your support for voice actors in our quest to give them the admiration and respect they so rightfully deserve.

One of my friends, Christopher Tenney, wanted to do a news magazine themed program, in the same manner like CBS Sunday Morning, but devoted to animation, including voice acting. If you want to talk to him about it, his email is at the bottom of the blog.

Bottom line, voice actors have been overlooked long enough. It is time to give them same respect as all famous people, before animation becomes a dead genre. Not just for all voice actors living, but for those who are no longer among us. For justice, for freedom, for honesty, for voice acting!

If you want to give the Screen Actors Guild a piece of your mind, demanding voice actors the same recognition as all actors, their address is below the blog, along with Mr. Tenney's email address. Until next time, stay frosty, my friends.

Saraba da (Farewell)...for now!

Remembering WWF Hasbro Figure Line

If you were a Wrestling fan way back in the day,you likely owned some figures from Hasbro's WWF Line. The line began in 1990 and lasted until mid-1994 with the Green Card series.

Each of the figures were well made and had their own Action Features. Infact, there were multiple varients of the WWF's most popular stars, such as Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior.

The line ended abruptly, when Hasbro lost the licence in 1994. An Orange Card series was planned, but was never produced. The only remainder of this line were some prototype pics.

This was a great line, but it did have one major flaw. In terms of roster Hasbro was late by a year or two, with their "Macho Man" Randy Savage figures being proof of that. Another perfect example was that there were figures released of Wrestlers that were no longer with the company. The Dusty Rhodes figure released in 1991 during the 2nd wave immediatly comes to mind.

Reguardless,I love this Toyline and have several figures from it myself. It's a shame this line ended so suddenly,it was truely great. So today,I'm gonna take a look at what could have been if Hasbro kept the WWF Licence. Hypathetical Figure Waves as it were.

The Hart Foundation broke up before the Figure Pack could be released. Plus,Jim Neidhart was taking time off from Television.

By the time The Tugboat Figure was being produced, the Character had turned Heel and became Typhoon.

Ultimate Warrior left the WWF while his "Chest Beating Figure" was produced. Rumor has it that it was an 'Ultimate Maniacs' Version of the Warrior.

Beefcake also left the WWF before his Figure was produced.

As for Shawn Micheals..who knows.

Jason's Gallery - Nefer-Tina: Dancer of the Nile!

By day, she dresses up like a man to ride chariots. But by night, to honor her father's wishes, she serves as one of the Pharaoh's harem girls, by being a dancer at the royal palace. As a bellydancer, Nefer-Tina is as beautiful and serene as the River Nile itself.

Remember my suggestion in one of my crossover ideas in my Mummies Alive! review, which extending upon Nefer-Tina's backstory? Well, lo and behold, Nefer-Tina, in all of her bellydancing glory! This is my first actual Mummies Alive fanart I have ever done, believe it or not. I cut a lot of corners to get this done, especially with her animal totem. You see, in the cartoon, Nefer-Tina's animal totem, which is the Cat, looks more like a bear than a cat, judging from its ears. So, I made the ears more cat-like on her totem than how it looked in the cartoon. And I have perfected the see-through skirt a little bit more like my last ones I did. If walking like an Egyptian sounds more sexiful, than count me in, especially with Nefer-Tina seducing us with her beauty. Not bad for someone who dresses up like a man and ride chariots.

If you like to know more about this, check out my Toon Ninja Reviews Mummies Alive! review on this blog. It will explain everything, especially the other crossover ideas I have in mind.

The Fictional History of Metro City!

As far back as I can remember, for centuries, for millennia, for many years, in the world of fiction, every comic, cartoon, anime and even video games always have a setting. Sometimes, our stories take place in real cities like New York City or Los Angeles, or taking place in fictional places like Metropolis, Cybertron or Equestria. But, there is one place that have existed for quite a long, yet confusing, time. No matter what genre we like, or what games we play or comics we read or what type of animation we watch, the one place that has such a confusing history is the fictional town known as Metro City.

No one knows who came up with the name Metro City. But for a long time, the setting of this similarly named town was used in any shape or form in all forms of media, such as gaming and in animation. Here are some examples of this similarly named town in all its forms.

Inspector Gadget: The very cartoon, if I remember correctly, was the first of many that carries the name, Metro City. In this continuity, Metro City was the home of Inspector Gadget, along with his niece Penny and their family dog, Brain, where Gadget does his usual activities like a parent (or legal guardian) would do before being called away on an assignment by Chief Quimby. Although his cases take him all over the world, but some of them take place in Metro City itself. But since then, no thanks in part by the live action films (which I elected to ignore), Metro City was renamed Riverton, OH. Moving on, from one DIC cartoon to another, I give you...

Double Dragon: We all know the history of this beat'em up series. Two brothers, fighting a group of thugs in a city to rescue the girl. Aside from the first episode (which was based on the first game), not in this cartoon adaptation. Other than Billy and Jimmy Lee getting magic swords and all, this video game-based cartoon took place in their version of Metro City. While the original game series took place in real life places (sometimes in a post-apocalyptic New York like Mad Max, and sometimes a worn-down city, riddled with crime), this version of Metro City is mostly clean and just, but does look worn out in some places, especially with the Shadow Master trying to cover it into eternal darkness. Speaking of beat'em ups, this leads us to our next one...

Final Fight:
One of the crown jewels of Capcom, and one of the crown jewels of beat'em ups to come. Just like Double Dragon, this version of Metro City was riddled with crime, perpetrated by the ruthless Mad Gear Gang. But unlike Double Dragon, in this universe, Metro City had a mayor who vowed to clean up the streets, in more ways than one, in the form of retired pro-wrestler, Mike Haggar, who, along with Cody and Guy, vowed to put the beat down on the Mad Gear Gang, especially when they crossed the line when they kidnapped Haggar's daughter, Jessica, who is also Cody's girlfriend. Now, let us fast forward into the future with...

Captain Commando: Unlike Inspector Gadget and Double Dragon, this beat'em up, which features Capcom's original mascot before Megaman, has ties with the aforementioned Final Fight and takes place in Metro City in the year 2026, further in the future. In this future, Metro City has been overrun by an evil entity known as Scumicide and his pack of super-powered criminals and it's up to Captain Commando and his teammates, Baby Head, Mack the Knife and Ginzu the Ninja (Hoover, Jennety and Sho in the Japanese version) to stop them.

In short, no one knows how the name or city of Metro City came to be. All I know is, if Metro City wasn't that confusing and since we got a big imagination, this fictional town would've been a haven for all the aforementioned titles I have mentioned. Almost in a style of crossovers. No one knows what the future holds for this fictional city. Only time will tell, if the next cartoon, anime, comic or video game has another town with a familiar name...like Metro City. Until next time, stay frosty.

Saraba da (Farewell)...for now.
