My fanart of Ariel, cosplaying as the sexy super spy, EVA, from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and its update, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The reason for this drawing is a response to a great big mystery, who is Suzetta Minet, the voice of EVA. For 20 years, no one knows who was this Suzetta Minet, the lovely, seductive voice of EVA. Not even the internet couldn't give us the info we need, as if she didn't exist, almost like a ghost. Her true identity was as mysterious as the character herself. Fast forward to 20 years later, and after all these years, and with the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the identity of the voice behind EVA has been revealed. EVA is officially voiced by, get this, Jodi Benson. That's right, folks, the heart and soul of Ariel the Little Mermaid voiced our lovely super spy. But this isn't the first time she voiced serious characters aside from kid-friendly characters like Ariel and Barbie, for she voiced Tula from The Pirates of Dark Water and Aquagirl from Batman Beyond respectively. The writing was on the wall. I should've guess it before. But, she had good reason not to use her name and use her Suzetta Minet pseudonym, fearing that voicing EVA would tarnish her good name, especially being a Disney Legend among other things. But, there is nothing to be ashamed of. Voicing other characters besides Ariel, especially a super spy as sexiful as EVA, are truly awesome. But as long as God is watching over you, and a large group of fans still cheering you, you are never ashamed. Keep on voicing, sweet Jodi. Whether it's a mermaid or a spy, your talent is truly limitless.

I just heard about this. I wonder what Other projects Jodi was in that we don't know about?
Not that I know of. This one was 20 years in the making, a secret as big as the entire Metal Gear series itself. We should've guess it before. After all, voicing EVA wasn't first serious character she did. Like I said, she voiced Tula and Aquagirl respectively. So, in a sense, she truly has range, aside from being the heart and soul of Ariel.
