Jason's Gallery - Kento and Sting: The Rookie and The Icon

Sting: "Kento, you are going to be a great wrestler someday. The face paint looks good on you, little Stinger, but stick to being true blue, just like me. You are unique, in the most Hardrock-ish kind of way. (chuckles)"

Kento: "As far back as I can remember, aside from watching every single action movie starring Jackie Chan, my other love is watching professional wrestling. Even though I am a Ronin Warrior, who fights evil demons, spirits and overall bad juju on a daily basis, pro-wrestling is in my blood. You had your favorites, past and present, such as Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Chris Jericho, Jushin "Thunder" Liger, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kazuchika Okada, Tetsuya Naito, Kenny Omega, and Hiroshi Tanahashi, among others. But of all the wrestlers I know, no wrestler is that greater of an icon than the man called Sting. Growing up a wrestling fan, I have seen the Stinger in action, not just physically, but also emotionally, especially being a wild man on the mic. His charisma and his determination were second to none. Every no sell, every howl, every Stinger Splash, every Scorpion something something, either the Deathlock or Death Drop, that man is as great as his legend. Through my training from my friend/partner/mentor Bass Armstrong, I was determined to be like the Stinger himself. But, if I learn one important thing about that man, it is that, no matter what phase of his career he has gone through, whether as a face, or a heel, or somewhere in between, or being stoic like The Crow or crazy like The Joker, whether he has a blond crew cut or long, flowing brown hair and whatever facepaint he dons, whether in the ring or out of it, Sting is always true blue. He is the one guy you want to pal around with, share some cream soda together, exchange stories, crack jokes, telling him about your problems, resulting in him giving advice to me into bettering myself. Aside from Bass and some of my idols, Sting is the one wrestler I can always depend on. Cause whenever he is in the ring, it is always showtime every time. In short, no matter what some people say about him, but in a rather cruel or fraudulent manner, Sting is the one wrestler who will never, EVER steer away from his true path. And for all the little Stingers out there, it couldn't be more true. And whenever I no sell a power move or a steel chair in the back, I will always think of the Icon himself. And to quote the man himself, the only thing for sure about Sting, is nothing's for sure. But as long as there are fans out there believing in him, everything, is for sure."

My fanart tribute to the now recently retired icon of professional wrestling, the man called Sting. And why Kento's involvement in this drawing? Simple, it is all part of Kento's journey as a pro-wrestler, and whenever he no sells any power move, steel chair to the back, guitar shot on the head or get thrown through a table, he does it in honor of the Stinger. Thanks for all the memories, Stinger. You truly are an icon among men.

IT'S STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!

The Ressurection,Near-Death,and Revival of WWE!

The Following is a conclusion of My Rise and Fall of The WWE Timeline post.

Found Here: https://retro-rebellion.blogspot.com/2021/06/the-rise-and-fall-of-wwe-timeline.html?m=0 and here https://retro-rebellion.blogspot.com/2021/11/the-death-of-wwe-complete-timeline.html

Due to recent events,I thought I'd do this. Anyway, here we go.

2022 - The Post-Doomsday Era Continues, WWE is an undead company at this point. But...there will be some hope for a Resurrection in the coming months.

In June, amidst an investigation by WWE's Board of Directors into reported hush money paid to a former employee by Vince McMahon following an affair, Mr. McMahon stepped down as chairman and CEO of WWE, but he was Still in charge of creative. Stephanie McMahon, would become the interim chairwoman of WWE.

A short time later, Vince McMaon officially retired, Following Vince's retirement, Stephanie McMahon was officially named chairwoman while she and Nick Khan were named co-CEOs of WWE. Triple H would take over as head of creative, while resuming his position as Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and later being promoted to Chief Content Officer.

With Vince retired, and with Triple H fully in charge of the creative,WWE's would experience a revival. This was the beginning of a New Era - The Ressurection Era!!

SummerSlam was the first WWE pay-per-view event to be held under the leadership of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. In August ,Shawn Michaels was promoted to WWE Vice President of Talent Development Creative And eventually Boss of NXT. In September,,WWE made Triple H,Chief Content Officer.

Sometime in the year,NXT 2.0 would be gone forever and turn back into the NXT that we all knew and loved.
===========================================================

2023 - In January,Vince McMahon stated his intention to return to the company ahead of media rights negotiations. WWE's previous media rights deals with Fox and USA Network expire in 2024. On Later that month,Stephanie McMahon resigned as Chairwoman and co-CEO, also on the same day Vince McMahon re-assumed the role of executive Chairman of WWE,while Nick Khan became the sole CEO. That same month.

JPMorgan were hired to handle a possible sale of the company, with rumored suitors being various media companies

With McMahon back, the WWE would begin to suffer once more.

In April, WWE and Endeavor reached a deal for the WWE to merge with UFC parent company, Zuffa ,to form a new company, TKO Group Holdings.

Shane McMahon had attempted to purchase the UFC multiple times during the 2000s, but Vince talked him out of doing so. Endeavor would receive a 51% stake in "TKO", while WWE's shareholders would get a 49% stake.  This would mark the first time that WWE would not be majority-controlled by the McMahon family.

Vince McMahon would serve as executive chairman, with Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel becoming CEO, and Mark Shapiro as president and chief operating officer.

Triple H would remain in his role as Head of Creative, And Nick Khan would become president of WWE post-merger, similar to Dana White's role as president of UFC.

The deal additionally granted McMahon life tenure as executive chairman, the right to nominate five WWE representatives on the 11 member board, as well as veto rights over certain actions by the new company; eventually, the TKO board of directors would increase from 11 members to 13 members.

In addition, McMahon will own 34% of the new company, with a 16% voting interest. Despite the merger, the two promotions, WWE and the UFC, would continue to run as separate divisions of the newly merged company

With Vince McMahon back in control, a New Dark Era was forming, and WWE,despite a recent revival, looked like it was going to die once again. The WWE's Ressurection was becoming short lived.

The merger was finalized in September. The first television show produced under the TKO banner was WWE NXT.  Emanuel has also held influence over the company, including with the company's broadcast deals which occurred since the TKO Holdings merger.

Things were slowly turning into a Landfill and it seemed like Vince McMahon's Twisted Reign would continue until the day he was sent to Hell.

But then...a miracle happened the following year

==========================================================

2024 - In January 2024, a lawsuit was filed by a woman named Janel Grant, who accused Vince McMahon, along with John Laurinaitis and a WWE wrestler who was also a former UFC fighter of sexually trafficking her and repeatedly sexually assaulted her during 2020–2021. Grant alleged that she was subjected to "extreme cruelty and degradation" by McMahon, including being defecated upon during a sexual encounter.

One day after the report of the claims, Vince McMahon resigned from TKO. In a statement, McMahon said the decision was made "out of respect for the WWE Universe, the extraordinary TKO business and its board members and shareholders, partners and constituents, and all of the employees"

With Vince (hopefully) Gone from WWE forever, the Ball is Entirely in Triple H's court. With Triple H in charge,WWE was slowly reviving. The Revival Era had Begun. Though just a transitional era,The Revival Era will prove to be an important one.

In February,WWE and Netflix made a multi-year deal to air WWE RAW. The week after, the USA Network would secure the rights to Smackdown. NXT would gain a new home on The CW.

RAW's move to Netflix and Smackdown's move back to the USA Network would begin in January of 2025 and the Fall of 2024 respectively. NXT's move to The CW would also take place in the Fall of 2024.

=======================================================

And thus ends the WWE Timeline (for now). I don't intend on continuing this, so don't bother looking for a continuation. Cut-Off Point!!

Speaking of Cut-Off Points,When RAW moves to Netflix next year,I'm gonna stop watching, not just WWE,but Modern Wrestling in General. I'm gonna stick with either the Old School Stuff or Playthroughs of the Video Games.

And, That's all I have to say about this. So until next time,Space Cowboys,Stay Gold and Resist Modern Attitudes!

Mario and Sonic 3 - All-Stars Clash!

Deep within the Special Zones of Sonic the Hedgehog's Universe, A Malevolent Being called Tabuu (the same dude from super smash bros brawl.) and his Minions have stolen the Chaos Emeralds. Knuckles senses this and warns Sonic and Tails, while the 2 are on a fishing trip. Tabuu arrives and introduces himself and wants to test his new Powers on the Legendary Hero of this World,Sonic the Hedgehog. He powers up using the Chaos Emeralds. He beats Sonic and retreats.

Sonic rushes after him and ends up at Rosalina's observatory in the Nintendoverse. Tabuu battles Rosalina and defeats her, He enters the Warp to Star Road and retrieves the Cosmic Stars.Sonic goes after him,but is too late, Tabuu has all 7 stars. He then summons his minions to keep Sonic busy ,while he retreats back to the observatory. Rosalina confronts Tabuu, but with the stars power, defeats her easily.

Tabuu leaves for Hyrule, where he senses another powerful item to get - The Triforce. Tabuu arrives at the Great Temple aka The Temple Of Hylia in Death Valley, where he senses where the Triforce is.  Zelda senses Tabuu and sends Link to investigate. Link arrives at the Temple of Hylia and confronts Tabuu. They fight.

Back on Rosalina's Cosmic Observatory,Sonic and Rosalina are chatting about Tabuu and mentions that she has contacted Mario and that he should be arriving soon. Mario arrives and greets Rosie and Sonic. Rosalina explains that Tabuu is an Interdenominational Being from a Realm called Subspace and that ever since he existed,Tabuu has been both Power Hungry and Arrogant. He sees all beings as inferior to him and will do anything to gain Ultimate Power.

Rosalina senses Tabuu in Hyrule battling Link...likely for the Triforce. She sends Mario and Sonic to Hyrule to help Link with Tabuu.

Mario,Sonic, and Link battle Tabuu, but he overpowers them. Suddenly,Samus Aran arrives and demands Tabuu return the Chozo Crystal that he stole earlier. When asked,Samus explains that the Chozo Crystal is an Egg-Shaped Crystal that can enhance ones natural abilities 50 Fold. Tabuu defeats all 4 Heroes and gets the Triforce within the Temple.

After getting the Triforce, Tabuu declares himself to be The Ultimate God!!! Instead of finishing the heroes off, he decides to punish them a more unique way. He sends each of them to a far away World, where they'll be lost forever.

Each hero ends up in a Strange World. Mario lands in the World of Pokemon. Sonic lands in the World of Shinobi,Link ends up in the World of Golden Ax,and Samus ends up in the World of Bayonetta. The heroes explore the Worlds and meet the Main Heroes (Anti-Hero in Bayo's case) of said Worlds. Mario meets Red,the Kanto/Johto Pokemon Champion. Sonic meets Jo Musashi. Link meets with Gilius Thunderhead, and Samus meets Bayonetta.

After talking about the current situation with Tabuu, the Native Heroes (and Anti-Hero) decide to join the fight.

Suddenly a Portal opens in each of the Worlds, mostly thanks to Tabuu tampering with the Cosmic Balance. The Heroes jump into the Portals, hoping it'll take them back to the Nintendoverse...unfortunately,it takes them to other Worlds/Universes instead.

Link and Gilius end up in the World of Fire Emblem, where they run into Lucina. Sonic and Jo Musashi end up in the World of Streets of Rage, where they come face to face with Blaze Fielding. Mario and Red end up in the Realm of Pac,where they meets Pac-Man. And Samus and Bayonetta end up in the World of Soul Calibur, where they meet Sophitia.

After recruiting the Native Heroes to stop Tabuu, more portals open and they take them...to more strange Worlds.

Mario's Team end up in the World of Tekken, where they meet Jin Kazama. Sonic's Team ends up in the World of Metal Slug, where they meet Fiolina Germi. Link's Team ends up in the World of Samurai Showdown, where they meet Haohmaru. And Team Samus enter the Devil May Cry World, where they meet Dante.

After their journey though those Worlds and recruiting the Native Heroes, The Teams head though more Portals.

Mario's Team arrives in the World of the King of Fighters, where they meet and recruit Terry Bogard. Sonic's Team ends up in the World of Mega Man, where they Meet and Recruit Mega Man. Link's Team ends up in the World of Resident Evil, where they meet the STARS Team and end up recruiting Jill Valentine. And Samus' Team ends up in the World of Contra, where they recruit Bill Rizer.

As the heroes work their way back home though various worlds and universes, recruiting various heroes to help them fight Tabuu. Tabuu and his Minions are facing off against the Heroes (and villains) of the Nintendoverse, as they put up a resistance against him. With his newly enhanced powers,Tabuu deals with all of them easily.

Meanwhile, Mario's Team ends up in the World of Street Fighter, where they meet and recruit Ryu. Sonic's Team ends up in the World of Bomberman, where they meet and recruit the Bomb Throwing Hero. Team Link winds up in Castlevania, where they meet and recruit Simon Belmont. And Team Samus ends up in the Metal Gear World, meeting and recruiting Solid Snake.

The Next World Team Mario goes to is the World of Chrono Trigger, where they meet Crono and Friends and recruit Crono himself. Sonic's Team ends up in the World of Banjo Kazooie, where they meet and recruit Banjo and Kazooie. Link's team ends up in the World of Final Fantasy 7, where they meet the FF7 Team and Recruit Cloud Strife. And Samus's Team ends up in the World of Halo, where they meet and Recruit Master Chief.

Mario's Team then ends up in the Realm of Battletoads, where they meet and recruit the Toads. Sonic's Team ends up in the World of Crash Bandicoot, where they meet and recruits Crash himself. Link's Team ends up in the World of Dragon Quest, where they meet and recruit Erdrick. And Samus' Team arrives in the World of Tomb Raider, where they meet and recruit Lara Croft.

After visiting more Worlds and recruiting more Heroes,The Teams reunite and arrive back to the Nintendoverse, where they confront Tabuu and his minions. Tabuu is surprised Mario,Link,Samus, and Sonic made it back. After some back and forth, the Fight Begins.

BTW,the other recruited heroes are - Shante from the World of Shante, Billy and Jimmy Lee from The Double Dragon World,Spyro the Dragon from the Spyro the Dragon World,Ryu Hayabusa from the World of Ninja Guiden,Shovel Knight from the World of Shovel Knight,Rayman from the World of Rayman, and Sub-Zero from the World of Mortal Kombat.

Tabuu's minions are destroyed and Tabuu beats them all with his power, but soon gets tired. according to Rosalina, Tabuu can't stay too long outside his Realm, otherwise he'll weaken. Samus deduces that the Chozo Crystal might have increased his powers and abilities, but,as a nasty side effect, also might have increased the strength of his weakness too. The heroes attack Tabuu and damage him.

Tabuu, angered that of his own weakness still exists even with the Ultimate Power in his possession, decides to finish everyone off in his Own Realm,so he teleports everyone to His World - The Realm of Subspace.

Once there, Tabuu decides to let the heroes suffer in his Realm before he obliterates them. He turns Everyone, except for Mario and Sonic into Trophies, which he then tosses in various directions. Tabuu tells Mario and Sonic that the only way to save their Allies is to find their Trophies...which are now scattered thought the Realm of Sub Space. Which he knows will be a great struggle for them, since they are in an Unknown Realm, that they will never survive.

He then realizes that The Chozo Crystal has amplified his weakness, so he discards it. Tabuu heads back tho The Nintendoverse to continue conquering it. Mario and Sonic take the Chozo Crystal and begin their long and dangerous quest.

They face many many dangers, but use the Chozo Crystal to help them survive this Unknown Realm, though use it sparingly, knowing that the Crystal also amps their weaknesses too. They find the Trophies in various places of Sub Space, but each time they find one, they are attacked by a Spirit Clone of their allies.

After defeating a Spirit Clone, they get a Trophy. After collecting All of the Trophies, Mario and Sonic try to find a way out. Rosalina appears and tells them that she finally found them and is relieved that they are alright and tells them that Tabuu has taken over the Nintendoverse with an iron fist and has established a space fortress. She takes them and the Trophies back to her Planetoid.

Rosalina restores the Trophy Heroes to normal and explains that they need to get the Chaos Emeralds, Cosmic Stars, and the Triflorce away from Tabuu to stand a chance. Sonic presents Rosie with the Chozo Crystal and tells her to take care of it. Rosalina takes the Crystal and promises to take care of it.

From his Space Fortress,Tabuu senses the heroes and is annoyed. He telepathically invites them to his Fortress to end things once and for all. Rosalina teleports Mario,Sonic,Samus, and Link to the Fortress, while she sends the rest of the heroes to battle Tabuu's minions, who have occupied various Worlds. She wishes them luck and that the future of the Entire Omniverse is at stake.

Mario,Sonic,Link, and Samus Aran arrive and fight though Tabuu's space fortress.

Meanwhile,Pac Man,Banjo Kazooie,Spiro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot battle to liberate The Mushroom World from Tabuu's minions, along side the Heroes of the Mushroom World..and Wario,Waluigi,Bowser, and Capt. Syrup.

Pokemon Champion Red and Rayman helps Ness and Lucas save the World of Mother.

Crono, Cloud Strife,Lucina and Erdrick battle to save the World of Fire Emblem (al long with the other FE heroes of lucina's time).

Gilius Thunderhead, and Sophitia band together with Zelda and Linkle to save Hyrule.

The Battletoads,The Double Dragons, and Blaze Fielding fight alongside Little Mac to save Punch-Out. The Other Punch-Out fighters join the battle too.

Shovel Knight and Shante fight to save the World of Kid Icarus (especially angeland), with some help from Pit,Palutena,Dark Pit,and Viridi.

Mega Man and Bomberman help Kirby,Meta Knight and King Dedede save Popstar.

Bayonetta,Dante,Master Chief, and Fiolina Germi fight Tabuu's minions on a World called Neo-Zebes, which is the new home for Peaceful Metroids. They get help from Fox McCloud, who just happened to be in the Area. .

Ryu,Jin Kazama,Terry Bogard, and Sub-Zero fight to save The World of ARMS, along side it's fighters.

Jill Valentine and Simon Belmont battle Tabuu's minions in Devil World.

Jo Musashi,Haohmaru, and Ryu Hayabusa battle Tabuu's minions in Murasame's World, home to Murasame Castle, with some assist from it's hero,Takamaru.

Lara Croft helps the Inklings battle Tabuu's minions on the World of Splatoon

And Solid Snake and Bill Rizer protect the Villages of Animal Crossing.

As the liberation of the Nintendoverse is going on,Mario,Sonic,Samus, and Link arrive at the top of the Fortress, where Tabuu awaits. Tabuu reveals his plans to conquer Every Universe and intends on striking the Segaverse next. After some dialogue between the sides, the Final Battle begins.

The Quartet of Legendary Heroes remember Tabuu's weakness of growing weaker as he remains outside Subspace for long periods of time, so they decide.to play the long game. It doesn't take long for Tabuu to catch on to what the Heroes are doing and Power-Up using the Triforce, Chaos Emeralds, and Cosmic Stars.

The heroes are defeated. Rosalina arrives with Knuckles and the Master Emerald to save the day. Tabuu expresses interest in the Master Emerald and intends on taking it for himself after the battle.

After an explanation, Knux and Rosie keep Tabuu occupied, while The Quartet of Heroes energize themselves with the Master Emerald.

The Master Emerald powers-up the Heroes into Hyper Forms. Mario becomes Mega Mario, Sonic becomes Hyper Sonic, Link becomes a Lighter version of Fierce Deity Link called Just Deity Link, and Samus gains new armor called the Master Armor.

In their new Hyper Forms, The heroes beat the Chaos Emeralds out of Tabuu, causing him to lose power. They then do it again and get the Cosmic Stars back, then the Triforce. With all of the Sacred items back in the hands of good,Tabuu is weak now.

Tabuu is destroyed and his Fortress starts to crumble. Rosalina teleports everyone and the Sacred Items back to her observatory. With Tabuu destroyed, the minions explode into nothingess.

Hours later, on Rosalina's planetoid. Rosalina addresses the Heroes and thanks them all for their help. Link uses the Triforce to restore the Nintendoverse. Rosalina teleports the Cosmic Stars back to the Star Road. Mario,Sonic,Link, and Samus are back to normal.

Sonic has the Chaos Emeralds in hand, while Knuckles has the Master Emerald. Sonic and Mario say their good-byes to their newfound allies before Rosalina transports them back to their own Worlds and Universes.

Before going their separate ways,Mario and Sonic promise to have another cool adventure together one day.

After all of the Heroes are gone, Rosalina returns to her job as Guardian of the Nintendoverse.

The End!!!

Mega Man Factoid Corrections

In March of 2019 I created a list of Mega Man Fun Facts. Well, Just recently, thanks to new info, I found some of my Facts to be Wrong. So today, I'll be making corrections to them.

Original Fact: There were a few unused ideas that never made it to the first game. There were plans include 8 Robot Masters instead of just 6. An Aquatic Robot Master and the Legendary Bond Man. Both Masters never made it past the planning stages, but unlike the potential "Water Man",Bond Man received concept art and was even featured in a Manga by the legendary Hitoshi Ariga, creator of the Mega Man Megamix and Mega Man Gigamix Mangas.

Correction: Nope. Besides Bond Man, the 8 Robot Masters designed at that point were Cut Man, Guts Man,Bomb Man,Elec Man,Fire Man,Water Man, Oil Man and Bond Man. Water Man was reworked into Ice Man and Oil Man got cut along with Bond Man. Oil Man was later revived for Mega Man Powered Up,though with a redesign.

Water Man's weapon fired bubbles the player could ride on. And Oil Man's weapon made enemies slip.

Additionally, Bond Man had a different design to the more commonly-known Ariga one, and he used a handheld helicopter blade to fly. This helicopter is also included as a weapon, likely as a utility before the Magnet Beam was created.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Original Fact: Mega Man was loosely based on Astroboy. Both are robots created by a kindly scientist and fight evil. Plus in MM1's ending,Rock has a similar hairstyle to the legendary anime hero. And,to add on to that,Mega Man was originally gonna be an Astroboy game, but Capcom lost the licsence.

Inafune and co. were disappointed, but got over it quickly promising to create something even better than Astroboy. And,sure enough, they succeeded.

Correction: Inafune and Co Once Thought about getting the Astro Boy license to create a game, but instead decided to create Mega Man,who was inspired by Astro Boy.

So,Inafune and Capcom Never pursued the Astro Boy License, just thought about it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Original Fact: Due to Sony of America's hardassness,Mega Man Battle and Chase was not allowed to come to America,so it didn't. However,it was included as a hidden game in the Mega Man X Collection.

For an Earlier example of Sony America's hardassness,we go back to Late 1996-Early 1997. Where Sony America initially refused to let any more 2D games on their console. But Capcom (as well as a few other companies, such as konami) hit back by threatening to never release their 3D games on their console in America. Sony submitted and 2D games were allowed to be on American Playstations.

So what's this got to do with Mega Man? Well, the 2D Capcom games in question were Mega Man 8 and Mega Man X4.

Correction: Sony America and Capcom USA were unsure if Mega Man 8 and Mega Man X4 would sell in the States, due to most American Gamers moving on to 3D gaming and oil to this fire were American Gaming Journalists, who claimed that Playstation Gamers wouldn't be interested in 2D platformers. This line of thinking was eventually discarded by Capcom USA and Sony of America and the Mega Man Games were released Stateside.  .

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Original Fact: One last tidbit,Mega Man 8 was initially gonna be a Saturn exclusive, but Sony of Japan protested heavily,so a Playstation version was also made. However,to be true to their original intentions,Capcom made the Saturn version of 8 the definitive version of the game,by giving it extra content (such as extra menus and battles with cut man and wood man).

Correction: Capcom Always intended for Mega Man 8 to be on the Sony Playstation, And Sony of America agreed to approve the game if it had something special over the Saturn version. What they got was a collector's full-color anthology booklet enclosed with the first editions of the North American release.

The Saturn version has more content due to Capcom having the extra time to polish the game after the PS1 release.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Original Fact: Mega Man Starforce might've been planned to be a Mega Man Battle Network title at one point. There are some unused models hidden within the game for Lan and MegaMan.EXE. There's even a 3D map of AC/DC Town hidden within the game.

For unknown reasons,Capcom decided to make the game into a whole new series instead.

Correction: Nope. The EXE/Battle Network models were simply for testing purposes. No 3D EXE/Battle Network game was ever considered.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original Fact: Did ya know that thanks to Sega of America,we never received the Genesis exclusive,Mega Man:The Wily Wars in cartridge form. Instead Sega wanted the game to be an exclusive to their then-upcoming Sega Channel. Sega got what they wanted, but we Mega Man fans didn't,as many of us didn't own a subscription to the Sega Channel. The Sega Channel wasn't that great to begin with. While America was screwed over,Europe got an official cartridge.

Correction: This is more of an Update, than a correction. Just a bit after posting this Fact,The Wily Wars was released on a limited edition Sega Genesis Cartridge in North America. AND,later, was a game on The Sega Genesis Mini 1. And,Later Still, was made playable on the Nintendo Switch via the Online Service.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Original Fact: In Blizzard Buffalo's PS1 and PC intro, his name is misspelled. He's called Bilzard Buffalo in that intro. This is Capcom Europe's stupid error, since they translated the game. It seems that Capcom USA isn't the only ones guilty of translation errors.

As stated earlier,This Version of the game never made it to the States as a single disk. Though,it was part of The Mega Man X Collection.

Correction: I TOTALLY FORGOT that The PC version of Mega Man X3 DID come Stateside and WAS translated by Capcom USA. Even The Retro King makes mistakes. Also, a bit of an apology to Capcom Europe for blaming them for this dumb translation. Sorry Mates!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Original Fact: Capcom and Marvel Comics planned to create a comic adaption of the show, but it never came to be. Again, thanks to the show itself being canned.

Correction: Nope. It was Hamilton Publishing/Comics that was doing the adaption,Not Marvel. The Comic was being worked on by The Day brothers, Dan and David, who Did work on various Marvel Comics projects. Because of this, there was confusion of the Comic being worked on by Marvel, instead of Hamilton. Which was understandable.

And so,my Incorrect Factoid Correction is finished. This is something I needed to do and I'm glad I Finally have it out of the way.

So, Until Next Time Space Cowboys, Stay Gold and Resist Modern Attitudes!

Jason's Gallery: In Memoriam - Akira Toriyama

My small tribute to the legendary manga artist, many considered the father of Dragon Ball himself, Akira Toriyama. He truly belongs to the holy trinity of anime and manga artists, him, Naoko Takeuchi and Osamu Tezuka. Thank you for all the memories and giving me a guardian angel in Son Goku. No amount of Dragon Balls won't bring you back now. Godspeed, good sir.

See you on the other side, Toriyama-san.

A Super Legend's Eternal Mystical Adventure! The Passing of Akira Toriyama!

We couldn't believe it, when we heard the news today. But Super Legendary Manga and Anime Artist and Bird Studios founder, Akira Toriyama has died. He Cause of death is Unknown. He was 68

Akira Toryama was one of the greatest Manga and Anime artists of all time. He broke into the biz with his very first series,Dr. Slump in 1980. But his most famous work was Dragon Ball, which he created in 1984.

But that's not all, Akira Toriyama's also also did art for the Dragon Quest games,as well as the Legendary SNES RPG,Chrono Trigger.

One fun note, about Akira Toriyama is that he has an Avatar called Tori-bot,which he sometimes inserts into some of his works. Toriyama also has a caricature of himself, which makes random appearances in his Manga.

He Also made a cameo appearance in Chrono Trigger.

Personally, I always a huge fan of Toriyama's art style and Dragon Ball Z Is my All Time Favorite Anime. Plus, I Love Chrono Trigger.

Thank you So Much, Toriyama-sama. Thank you for everything. We will miss you like mad. May you rest in peace.
