90210 Heartthrob Gone Too Soon! - RIP Luke Perry

This just in, and it is more heartbreaking than the passing of John Ritter himself.

Luke Perry, best known for his roles on both Beverly Hills 90210 and Riverdale, has died of a massive stroke on March 4th, 2019. He was 52 years old (yes, he died very young, no surprise there)

Perry, as we know, especially with girls who have teen magazines like Tiger Beat, was best know for being teenage bad boy heartthrob, Dylan McKay on the original Beverly Hills 90210. But in later years, to a new generation, he became best known these days as Fred Andrews in the CW mystery drama, Riverdale, which is a dark take of Archie Comics, being the strong anchor to his son, Archie. While he continued to act in both TV and in movies, such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer (before it became a TV show), he also excelled in voice acting. Not only he guest-starred on The Simpsons in the episode, "Krusty Gets Kancelled," but he also voiced Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm and as Rick Jones in the 1996 Incredible Hulk cartoon. Perry was survived by his fiance and two children from a previous marriage, including his son, Jack, who is a professional wrestler in the independent circuit.

How season 3 of Riverdale would end after his passing is up to the producers. But, I will tell you this. Whether he's a teen idol or a strong-willed father to a comic character come to life, Luke Perry's legacy will live on forever, whether it's in a suburb in Los Angeles or...

In a little town called Riverdale.

Godspeed, Dylan McKay/Be at peace, Father of Archie.
