A Eulogy to Alan Young - The Richest Actor in the World

Today we say goodbye to a very dear friend, who we have never met, but his life and career has touched us all. Alan Young, who was born in British, Canadian and Scottish descent, was born to be a proud character actor, whether it's on the radio, talking to a horse (of course), or being the Richest Duck in the World, Scrooge McDuck. For nearly a century, Young entertained everybody, young or old, no matter what genre in the media.  So the next time we collect lucky dimes or make a fortune, know this, from what we learned from Scrooge McDuck is that no matter how much money you make, making people smile and caring for one another is what makes us even more richer than all the money in the world. Goodbye, Alan Young. No matter where you are now, there are no seamonsters eating your ice cream where you are at now. Godspeed, my friend.

The man will be missed. Hope his Ducktales 2017 replacement is good enough.

A big loss. :-( I'll always remember Scrooge Mcduck's distinct voice. Very touching tribute RekkaDragon.
