Another Wrestling Legend....Gone!

Oh,Rowdy Roddy,not you too?

On July 31, 2015, Piper died in his sleep after a heart attack, at the age of 61, in his home in Hollywood, California.

Piper, born Roderick Toombs, was in more than 7000 matches and took part in multiple feuds. His most memorable feuds being against Bruno Sammartino,"Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, Hulk Hogan,Mr. T, Adrian Adonis, and The "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase. And Let's not forget about that "Hollywood Back Lot" Brawl he had with Goldust (dustin rhodes) at WWE/WWF Wrestlemania 12.

He was also a 1 time holder of the WWE/WWF Intercontinental Championship. His 'Never Say Die Attitude' made him what he is..a True Wrestling Legend. He also did some great mic work, because of this, his 'Pipers Pit' segments on WWE TV were a fun watch.

So here's to you,Hot Rod. Hope you have many good matches up in Heaven. We will miss you.

R.I.P. Roderick Toombs aka "Rowdy" Roddy Piper

Piper was a great man. A loose cannon, but a lovable guy. He will be missed. I am now feeling what you are feeling now when someone dies. Why do good people die while the bad ones live and get away scot-free? :'(
