Jason's Gallery - Women's History Month 2018 - Black Canary

Dinah Laurel Lance, my mother hen, my Black Canary!

In honor of Women's History Month, I give you my fanart of one proud woman, Dinah Laurel Lance aka Black Canary. I was trying to go for the Bruce Timm approach (which I did), but I somewhat combined that with not only her style from Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but I regarding her hair, I got the bangs right (and used Ariel's hairstyle as inspiration), but I made it look like what Katie Cassidy would look (If she ever wants to play the DCAU Black Canary one day, fishnets and all). Not exactly perfect, but as long as I remember her leotard, pantyhose, choker, jacket and above all, her hair, she is just right.

And on a personal note, ever since the Arrow episode, Collision Course, I have come to forgone conclusion that those 3 recruits are not as noble as they are, especially Laurel's successor, Dinah Drake (who was named after the Golden Age Black Canary herself), who is has since been driven by rage and hatred towards Oliver Queen (Rage and hate are the catalyst for becoming a member of the Red Lantern Corps, led by Atrocitus). Dinah Drake is not the Black Canary we thought she is. She is becoming a vengeance driven psychopath (and I am surprised that Quentin Lance didn't call her out and her hypocrisy). The more I dislike Dinah Drake, the more I become more of a fan of Black Canary (at least the DCAU version, anyway). The producers of Arrow showed no love for Black Canary, or in this case, Laurel Lance, that they had to kill her off, in favor of the Oliver/Felicity lover's spat aka Olicity. As for her Earth -2 doppelganger, Black Siren, there is no shed of redemption whatsoever.

In short, the DCAU version of Black Canary is the one Black Canary I can depend on. The one Black Canary I can talk out my problems with. The one Dinah Laurel Lance who can hug me when I feel sad. And above all else, a far better Black Canary than Dinah Drake in the Arrowverse, with no rage and hate in her heart whatsoever.

And to be frank, Sara Lance is a far better Canary than Dinah Drake, as well.

I just hope Juliana Harkavy doesn't get mad at me for speaking my mind. Sometimes, the truth really hurts, especially being a fan of Black Canary. Stay frosty and keep on rollin'. Until next time.

Jason's Gallery - Green Lanterns Unite!: St. Patrick's Day 2018

The Earthbound Green Lanterns of Sector 2814: Hal Jordan, Kyle Rayner, John Stewart and Guy Gardner.

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I present to you my fanart of the 4 Earthbound Green Lanterns of Sector 2814. In spite what I have been through, especially the darkness-filled Arrowverse with the blood feuds and in-fighting, the essences of the Green Lantern Corps will always keep my light within burning bright. And now, I shall leave you with the very oath of the Green Lantern Corps itself. Stay frosty and keep on rollin'.

In brightest day, in blackest night
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil's might
Beware my power...
GREEN LANTERN'S LIGHT!!

More Candidates For The List and More Candidates for The Hall

Here are the latest candidates for both The List and The Hall of Heroes..

Planned Parenthood (for being a very corrupt business. I consider myself to be Pro-Choice,but these evil Asshats take things to the extreme. And their Very Perverse SexEd curriculum is both sickening and evil. They get too much government funding, funding that they don't need. Hey,didya know that their founder Margret Sanger was a proud Xenophobic,Homophobic,Racist. It's true. Progressive Values are Perverted Values!)

Note: I usually stay the hell away from politics and want to keep this blog politics free. But I'm gonna make this one exception. So don't expect anymore.

Sega [modern] (These guys have fallen extremely far. They are not the great company of the 90's and early 2000's. These guys are so pathetic now, that they're even worse than Capcom. Modern Sega makes me sick! #RetroSegaForever)

Hollywood (they have a long rapsheet to their name,I don't feel like listing. one such atrocity is needlessly rebooting good tv shows and movies of the past.)

The Mega Man [Fan] Community (for taking hypocrisy to a new level, among other things)

Disney President Gary Marsh (he has 3 strikes against him..and he only has 2 left. in fact,he's very close to getting his 3rd)

Youtube (from cowering at the feet of corrupt media orgs,to forcing ads upon the watcher. These guys are on thin ice)

Capcom [modern] (for bastardizing their old franchises, disrespecting mega man, being hypocrites, refusing to recognize ruby spears mega man as a ligit mega man, ect.)

Square-Enix [modern] (same reason as sega, basically)

The Mainstream Media (other than lying, they blow things way out of proportion just for the sake of sensationalism. Most news outlets nowadays care nothing for truth, just ratings.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And Now..Potential Candidates for the Hall of Heroes:

MultiAnimationDude (a cool Youtuber that brings the Nostalgia. Hear he's a nice guy too.)

Pixel Dan Eardley (for being a fun toy reviewer...and a great guy to boot)

Akira Toriyama (for creating dragon ball,my all time favorite anime. he's also a really amazing artist)

Naoko Takeuchi (for creating sailor moon and such beautiful art.)

Shigeru Miyamoto (mr. nintendo himself. without this wonderful and amazing man, nintendo wouldn't be what it is today. he also gave us the mario and zelda series)

Walt Disney (there should be absolutely no explaination as to why he's in the HoH,everyone should just know)

Mr.T (a long time fave of mine and c'mon,it's Mr.T!)

Chuck Norris (another long time favorite of mine. he and T may be old,but they still got it)

Billy Graham (he was america's pastor and a great man. he will be missed )

Ted Dibiase (he's a good minister and a good man. he deserves to be here, trust me. the million dollar man gimmick is just an act. fun fact: dibiase's million dollar man moniker was loosely based on vince mcmahon himself)

Jodi Benson (one hell of a voice actor, who's also one hell of a lady. and a great singer besides)

Well there you have it,potential candidates for The List and The Hall of Heroes! think this list is justified? lemmie know and thanks for reading.
