A Star Wars Fact

Happy May the 4th, Retroheads. To commemorate this day, I've got a little factoid for you.

Did you know that in the Original script for' Empire Strikes Back', Darth Vader and Luke's dialogue was different. Instead of the famous "I Am You're Father" reveal, the Sith Lord would've revealed that Obi Wan Kenobi killed the Jedi's Father. This line was in fact a red herring to prevent people from leaking the Intended Twist, which was what We saw in the film.

The line was "Did Obi Wan Tell You What Happened to your Father?" "Yeah,You Killed My Father!" No, Obi Wan Killed Your Father!"

And when the Late Great James Earl Jones recorded his lines, his dialog was altered to the Original Intended line, the line not found in the script.

And That was my contribution to May the 4th. I may do this next year, I may not. Who the hell knows. But, that's gonna do it for now.
